The beds were very comfortable, showers and toilettes clean, staff were amazingly NICE 👌🏿beautiful location and easy to go to place from there. Loads of cafes, supermarket, boulangerie and restaurants. You could also take good photos in this antique building if you are into that. THANK YOU 😁

The lockers were very small for a small hand luggage ( I believe this wasn’t clear in the publication that lockers were for smaller valuable things and it was really a shared storage room for hand luggages) I don’t think it was very safe because the storage room was open All the time, even though they say that reception opens with a button, but I tried this and this is not true. That door is always open, it needs to be fixed then if that’s the case. I would improve the luggage store room.

Super cheap to be so close in the vicinity of the Louvre! Super nice staff, nice bonus of included breakfast, and shower in the rooms. You can check in at any time, go in and out at anytime, and they will take care of your luggage after checkout time.

The biggest problem is the beds: There was no plug next to all beds. Top bunk beds have 1 USB Plug, lower bunk beds don't have a plug, just a nearby regular plug away from bed, and I don't feel comfortable leaving my phone so unattended. And there are no courtains nor nothing for privacy or drawers to keep your stuff. There is no wifi in the rooms, at least not from the 2nd floor upwards. They don't have towels, so bring your own. There is no toilet in the room, it's shared for the whole floor, but clean. Finally, gotta be careful. They have 3 locations on the same block, but in booking just indicate the main building, so you may have to go to a different location from the map.

The hostel is located in the centre of Paris so you can basically walk to so many attractions . Also it’s closer to Metro station so going to main Train lines or other touristic areas , can get done easily . The building is amazing , a classic Parisien building with a cellar and central courtyard!! The beds are comfy and clean , the bathroom and the showers are maintained properly! The staff is helpful and friendly and they will try their best to make you feel comfortable.

Since it’s a hostel , I think it should be great if they can fix lockers inside the rooms . ( they have a locker room at the ground floor ) I’m writing this because one of the guys stayed in my room took my wallet and left the room in the early morning while I was sleeping and I had to go to the police and complain about the incident . But the hotel staff was very supportive to me throughout and to make me feel good !

The building is beautiful and the location excellent plus beds were comfortable and nice bedding. Plus felt secure.

They chsnged my room half way through without any apology or explanation which was a bit unsettling. Also there were a lot of schoolkids who would make a lot of noise in the courtyard early morning or at night and nothing done to address this.

I loved nearly everything about this place. First of all it welcomes you with amazing architecture. And staff in the reception was always so kind and helpful. The fact that they accept luggage even on the check out day is so amazing, something I appreciate so much. Our room of 3 people (we didn't know how many people we'd share it as two friends) was comfortable enough and had no trouble sleeping. Breakfast being included is also great. They also have places to socialize but unfortunately we didn't have the time. The location is also quite well, we walked to everywhere. I definitely do recommend.

Even though I mostly love it, want to mention a few little things: Firstly towels are not included so you need to bring yours and it takes time for them to dry if you're leaving next morning. The other thing is that staff in kitchen wasn't as nice, some didn't speak English and having a French breakfast first time we didn't know how it goes, we asked for a plate to put our food in, and THEY gave it to us, later 2 different people from kitchen complained about it in French, pointing fingers at us.

Excellent location that is close to two Metro Stations. 10-minute subway ride to the Louvre, 15 minute walk to Notre Dame. My third-floor room was quiet at night and serviced with an elevator. Shower and sink was in the room. Bathroom was across from the hallway. Friendly breakfast staff. Simple breakfast, but good coffee.

No lockers for guests in my room. Hostel did provide luggage room, with space for suitcases, and free smaller lockers (for a laptop).

I guess the building is old and it might kind of castle. So, if you want to feel antique french vibe, it will be quite nice choice for you. I love it's located in one of the safetest main district, closed to saint-louis, cite islands (it takes 5-10 min. by walk) but calm at night. It has good lounge operating 24/7, restaurant (I could eat good quality breakfast there) also. I could leave my luggage and bag before & after stay for free.

My room had own shower room, there is no door, but a shower curtain, so it makes room loud, humid and glare at night. There is no toilet in the room, so when I need to use it at night, I should have taken my card key and walk through long hallway. My bed had bad plug and one of my roommates also, so we should have used a extra plug in order.

Gorgeous old building in beautiful area and no bunk beds. Lots of space in the room as it’s two tier so it was fun to get ready to go out being in an all girls room.

they don’t provide soap in the bathrooms or at the sinks….this means you are exchanging so many germs with the people you are staying with. No soap in a hostel is unacceptable in my opinion. This is a basic necessity and is disgusting.

The location of MIJE MARAIS is simply unbeatable. Right in the middle of Paris with landmarks such as the Louvre, Notre Dame, and Place the la Bastille a short walk away. Vibe in the hostel is great with a varied group of guests.

Breakfast was a bit basic, some more variety would be excellent. Although can't ask too much considering it's included in the price. There was no AC in the room and it was a really hot night in Paris, thankfully the windows open wide for some ventilation. The towel that they sell you for use is very low quality. After a couple uses it is already falling apart. A more sustainable option would be very nice. The shower head was not able to point downwards when fixed on the wall, which was a bit annoying.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location of the hostel was excellent! super central and easy to get around. The building itself is beautiful, full of character and heritage charm. My room was comfortable and had only 3 beds and a shared shower and sink, it was nice, it felt more private than other hostels I've stayed in. The breakfast was very good and satisfying. The staff were also really friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Would definitely recommend!

A few downsides: the beds didn’t have individual plugs or chargers, only lights. There were only 3 plugs in the room and bathroom so I sometimes had to take the plug in the bathroom. There’s also no Wi-Fi in the rooms, which I was aware of -but even in the lobby the connection was very weak.. I wasn’t able to get any work done.
