The staff kept the hostel impeccably clean. The UCPA hostel is located conveniently next to Rosa Parks Train Station and a short walk from Crimee Metro Station. Overall, I thought most of the staff were helpful and friendly.

No free shampoo or towel service. I'm not opposed to a company making a profit, but they overcharge for everything. Since it also operates as a sports club, it definitely has a different vibe. It's more like a racquet club than a proper hostel.

- Location close tot RER station and a shopping mall - Friendly and helpful English speaking stuff - Free unlimited access to the gym, bouldering walls and squash rooms and free bouldering shoes and squash rackets - Nice and not very expensive breakfast

- The shower cabins could have been cleaner - The people in the room where I stayed were 2 men, one of them grinded his teeth loudly all night long during the sleep and another one was snoring like a tractor, but it obviously has nothing to do with the hostel:)

Warm reception and and good location

The cleanliness was subpar. Based on the conversations I had with the other guests, the room had not been cleaned for at least 4 days. A day after I checked in, I went to the reception to ask for the room to be cleaned but he told me that he can’t guarantee that will happen. Came back to the room later that night and it not cleaned. The showers are mouldy and musty. It didn’t look like the shower head, curtain and tiled walls had been cleaned in years. If the shower curtain touches you when you get out of the shower, you would want to take another shower. It was yellow with crime. Disgusting.

Very clean, well organized, got everything you need plus the chance to use the sport facilities for free. The rooms are nice and spacious and so are the bathrooms and showers, I really recommend it!

Pretty much everything. Very comfy bed and pillows. Just across the road from a great patisserie and just a few mins to the train or tram - despite this it’s also very well insulated against noise.

No USB charging points anywhere, considering it’s a new build this really surprised me. Unless you have the correct charger to use your room points, the common area sockets are fewer than required for such a popular business. The other disappointment the beautiful room has a lack of places for toiletries in the bathroom, no shower shelf or shelf in the bathroom itself just the sink itself.

The welcome warm welcome of people working there and the cleansiness. Location is perfect though at first it's not that easy to find the entrance

Breakfast is a rip off, glad I didn't take it there. Much better value to just walk five minutes and buy pastries at Lidl and have some coffee at a café. Plus if you're lucky (as I were), you can buy fruit and what not on market

Staff was very very helpful, beyond the basic courtesies (helped me out to find a quite place for a zoom meeting one morning). the place is clear, rooms are rather comfortable and each bunk felt very private. a bit far from center, but very close to a metro station and bike share points+ bike lanes, so you can be in the center very easily. didn't used the sport complex, but it looked great.

a. no power outlets at the beds, only one USB exit! was one power outlet for the whole room. i have more than one thing to charge at night... b. thought that charging 5 euros for luggage storage for the checkout day is uncalled for, most hostels don't

Nice common area. Beds are comfy enough. The breakfast was worth it and the restaurant is handy if you need a quick meal. It's cool to be able to use the badminton/squash courts (although it can be hard to meet anyone to play with) but being able to use the gym and sauna was a great addition. Maybe the hostel could have a social hostel group that plays together, that would be great for solo travellers. Location was a bit random and felt a bit out of the way but easy access to the bus lines and the train to the CBD is just next door which is great. Easy location for travel to Versallies.

Bathroom was a bit dirty and could have done with a better general clean over most of the rooms.

Location was OK, though maybe a bit too far away from the center. You need +-20-30 minutes of commute to the touristic places. Very affordable, nice cafeteria and amenities, very friendly and helpful staff.

Cleanliness can definitely be better. Showers are full of mold, dirt, and gunk. It's almost not sanitary. Bathrooms can be cleaned more often and maintained better. Beds don't have plugs, but rather only USB-A outlets. In 2025, many people don't carry USB-A cables anymore, so this is a bit outdated. Either there is no airco or it's very weak. When the temperature is 25+ degrees C, it's impossible to sleep without opening the windows. This is then a problem because the property is just next to a huge railway/metro station, meaning there's always sound from outside.

I stayed here while attending Stade de France for Beyoncé. The first hostel I've gone to. A lot of Beyoncé fans were here! The room was really comfortable and smelled nice. A nice view of the city outside. It had a nice look to it and the curtain around the bed was nice. I really liked the complex and area it was in. A water fountain was right outside which saved my life as I was so thirsty after the concert (the weather was so hot!) They had a supermarket about 10 minutes walk away and also a nice sitting area outside. The train station being nearby was pretty. I didn't get time to use the sport facilities but it looked pretty! I walked back here from Stade de France which apparently is a dangerous route but I survived! It took about 50 minutes. I took a while to leave the stadium but nonetheless the transport confused me - but that's not to do with the hostel and more to do with the concert organisation.

The soap dispenser was a little odd - though in the future I'll probably bring my own soap bar with me abroad. You had to grind it which was time consuming. There wasn't a plug beside my bed but a usb socket. I think this is common in France though. The bar closed at 11pm which I think is a little early but also might be quite common.
