Very helpful and friendly reception and breakfast staff. Room small but very clean, comfortable and recently modernised. The window kept out street noise effectively. It was a bonus to find the room was serviced every day. The location in the centre of Saint-Germain-des-Pres was outstanding.

The location of the Welcome Hotel was absolutely amazing and incredibly convenient, making it the perfect base to explore Paris. The cleanliness was excellent, and the staff — including the front desk and cleaning team — were warm, welcoming, and attentive. My stay was truly enjoyable, and I appreciated the charming atmosphere and overall comfort of the hotel.

I could hear a lot of noise from other rooms, especially when guests were leaving early in the morning, which made it difficult to rest. The walls did not block sound well, so banging doors and voices carried easily. I never had an issue with outside noise, only noise from within the building.

Uncomfortably small room, impractical sized bathroom, damp smell from enclosed bathroom area. Really too small for two people, really not even good for one. I thought the high price would have meant something a bit more comfortable… but maybe that is all you get for the money to get that location… not sure, but so long as people know you are paying for the location, not the comfort, it was ok. Staff were friendly and helpful,

Really good location, you could walk to several touristic places, there are two nearby train stations, around the corner lot of bars and restaurants to have any meal by walking distance. The personal is really attentive and nice! The hotel is clean, the room is cleaned everyday, they leave water bottles everyday on your room, which is really appreciated. The view from the hotel was nice, with two windows in front. Overall I recommend this hotel.

This doesn't change the good things.. The room was small despite I booked the superior one, for two is a little uncomfortable but as I've heard all rooms are like this in Paris.

Amazing location in St Germain. Breakfast was lovely and delivered to our room. The staff was incredibly courteous and helpful. Large bathroom.

We were in a superior room and it was still quite small.

The location was excellent. We walked to all of the sites we had planned to visit which is better than the metro or taking cars as you get to see so much more. We took time to wander and get lost a bit. Although we had researched restaurants and cafés, it was just as easy to walk by, read the menu, and choose on the fly. The breakfast was plenty to start the day and the food was good. Our room was clean and well-appointed.

Our room was #15, Saint-Germaine which faced Rue Ste Germaine. It is a busy street which could be a problem but we were out until 10 pm most nights and it got quiet by then. Some folks complained about the noise and there were a few times it was noticed but not bad overall. One fault in the room was the shower. The water leaked under the door and flooded the bathroom on the first day. After that we put a towel down and no problem, they gave us extras every day. It would be an easy fix but it's not my hotel

Proximity to restaurants, Metro, Notre Dame and the Louvre were excellent. Helpful staff that gave good restaurant recommendations and good directions to get there. Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Bring ear plugs to “turn off” the outside traffic and people noise. With that we slept well. The location is ideal.

The ONLY thing we did not like was how the water flowed away from the drain instead of toward the drain. Soon the entire bathroom floor was covered in water making it dangerous for us. Perhaps a new silicone seal on the bottom of the shower door would be helpful.

Highly recommend! The bathroom was brand new, and the location was perfect—within walking distance of restaurants, museums, and bars. The metro is also nearby, making it easy to get around. The room was small, but that’s expected in Paris. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was decent. I’ve stayed here twice, and I believe it’s one of the best options in terms of value for money and location. Plus, there’s an elevator! The view from my room was very nice.

I would recommend adding more towel hooks and a larger rack for hanging clothes.

The location of the hotel is fabulous! The personell of Welcome hotel is exceptional! I forgot my two scarves in the closet of my room. When realized, I emailed the hotel. They’ve mailed my scarves to my hotel in Strasbourg, and didn’t even charged me for postage, because it was less than €10. That’s some fantastic customer service!

Bathroom was clean, but small. There were a few stairs to go down to rooms, after you get off the elevator. It was challenging to get my suitcase up and down those few stairs.

The staff was very friendly and the location was perfect!

Breakfast could've been better. Definitely NOT worth the price. The room was a little small, but ok for a few nights stay.
