Amazingly friendly staff! So kind and helpful! Lovely room with small terrace. Lovely pool and pool beds. We rented bikes, which were great and convenient. Breakfast very elaborate, lots of home made options. We had it in the shaded garden, which was lovely. Expensive but worth the price and luxury. Water fountain available. We were allowed to store our luggage and wait for our train by the pool.

The many mosquito bites. Would highly recommend installing insect screens! Location is not ideal when arriving and leaving by train. We rented bikes to visit Arles, which was very convenient. Also no nice restaurants or coffee places closeby. The hotel needs some finishing touches, small details such as finishing painting a ceiling, but nothing that disturbed our holiday vibes.

The rooms were large and well presented. The breakfast was exceptional.

We arrived in Arles via train. We had planned on a leisurely walk from the railway station to the hotel but it was so hot we got a taxi instead. This meant that we arrived early. Although there was someone there who checked us in we were reprimanded for turning up too soon. We weren't offered the opportunity to leave our luggage and check in later, which we would have more than welcomed. The only negative thing about our room was that we couldn't get the safe to reset and opened. Otherwise the stay was fabulous.

Perfect base for exploring Arles, especially if you’re travelling by car with its secure parking (which we were very grateful for when we discovered the narrow and restricted roads in the town centre). An easy 20-minute walk from the centre of Arles and the arena, in a very peaceful area. The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful, and the air conditioning worked a treat.

The only tiny little improvement would be to have a double bed instead of two singles pushed together (which leaves you at risk of falling between the two), but this may be down to the hotel being almost fully booked when we reserved and it certainty wouldn’t put us off visiting again 😊

This was my second stay within a month at Hotel Rodin and the experience was more enjoyable than the first. This time I knew to take a taxi from the rail station, instead of trying to walk with luggage on uneven pavements which I did on my first visit. I previously criticised the lack of nearby cafes and food outlets, but this time I found a lovely little patisserie on Rue Stalingrad and the Arles fruit and vege market opposite the end of Rue Pierre Saxy. There is also a large Monoprix on the way to the railway station. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the air con was a blessing in the heat and the staff are pleasant and helpful. The location in a residential area makes it a quiet restful place to stay.

Nothing to dislike at all

Staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. Pool area was great to relax around on the many hot days . Breakfast was delicious, varied and great value.

It was a little further away from city centre than we expected but once we got the hang of the bus system it became a bit easier. In fairness many guests arrived by car or coach so probably not a issue for the majority.

My spacious room was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable, there was also very good shower pressure and reliable wifi. Also a lovely little patio overlooking the pool with table and chairs which was a nice place to sit.

For me, the location in a pleasant suburban area was a bit too out of the way. There was no handy cafe nor convenience store that l could locate within a short stroll. Be aware that the walk from the train station is not an easy one with luggage (especially for older guests) as the footpath is very uneven.

Friendly, spacious rooms, very good breakfast

I had a big problem to reach the hotel: I arrived at 7 pm at the station and there were no taxis and connections to hotel. I had to walk with luggage to the hotel about 2.5 km. Not so nice when you have bulky stuff. It should be mentioned so that people take dispositions. The day after they called a taxi for me to reach the centre of town. It was about 4 km and the lady charged me 20 euros which is way too much. In short place is good but not if you do not have a car.

Exceptionally comfortable, clean , and quiet. Helpful courteous staff. Nice layout of room. Appreciated small details such as body lotion provided, refrigerated, quiet air conditioner, balcony, secure parking

After heavy rain water made heavy puddles on walkway to breakfast room, making it difficult to walk safely. Correction of this would be nice. Property and neighborhood are quiet, but main road to walk 15 min to town is heavily trafficked and not entirely pedestrian friendly

Spacious rooms- good to have toilet separate from bathroom. Clean modern facilities. Buffet breakfast lots of food, lots of choices. Location - easy to find- not too far walking distance 15 minutes from railway station. Lovely wellkept grounds with swimming pool.

Didn't care much for floral teas available in room. Would have liked other options - breakfast tea, or ordinary Earl Grey etc - and more teas and coffees in room .

Clean, large room, comfortable bed. Had mini fridge and terrace facing onto pool. It was easy to take my bay from the car as the rooms face the car park (motel style.) The location is in a peaceful residential area. The selection at breakfast was very good and the receptionist who was helping with service was lovely. You had the choice to also load a tray from the buffet and have breakfast in your room, or to sit in the dining space. Felt safe and comfortable as a solo traveller.

The bathroom had a bathtub, which I would have preferred to be a shower. I could not charge my phone or devices when I left the room as the room card was needed for the power. Noise carried from upstairs rooms and next door, so I was woken up by people leaving early in the morning- no fault of the hotel. You need to drive to town centre, due to the location.
