This was my second stay within a month at Hotel Rodin and the experience was more enjoyable than the first. This time I knew to take a taxi from the rail station, instead of trying to walk with luggage on uneven pavements which I did on my first visit. I previously criticised the lack of nearby cafes and food outlets, but this time I found a lovely little patisserie on Rue Stalingrad and the Arles fruit and vege market opposite the end of Rue Pierre Saxy. There is also a large Monoprix on the way to the railway station. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the air con was a blessing in the heat and the staff are pleasant and helpful. The location in a residential area makes it a quiet restful place to stay.

Nothing to dislike at all

My spacious room was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable, there was also very good shower pressure and reliable wifi. Also a lovely little patio overlooking the pool with table and chairs which was a nice place to sit.

For me, the location in a pleasant suburban area was a bit too out of the way. There was no handy cafe nor convenience store that l could locate within a short stroll. Be aware that the walk from the train station is not an easy one with luggage (especially for older guests) as the footpath is very uneven.

Friendly, spacious rooms, very good breakfast

I had a big problem to reach the hotel: I arrived at 7 pm at the station and there were no taxis and connections to hotel. I had to walk with luggage to the hotel about 2.5 km. Not so nice when you have bulky stuff. It should be mentioned so that people take dispositions. The day after they called a taxi for me to reach the centre of town. It was about 4 km and the lady charged me 20 euros which is way too much. In short place is good but not if you do not have a car.

Exceptionally comfortable, clean , and quiet. Helpful courteous staff. Nice layout of room. Appreciated small details such as body lotion provided, refrigerated, quiet air conditioner, balcony, secure parking

After heavy rain water made heavy puddles on walkway to breakfast room, making it difficult to walk safely. Correction of this would be nice. Property and neighborhood are quiet, but main road to walk 15 min to town is heavily trafficked and not entirely pedestrian friendly

Clean, large room, comfortable bed. Had mini fridge and terrace facing onto pool. It was easy to take my bay from the car as the rooms face the car park (motel style.) The location is in a peaceful residential area. The selection at breakfast was very good and the receptionist who was helping with service was lovely. You had the choice to also load a tray from the buffet and have breakfast in your room, or to sit in the dining space. Felt safe and comfortable as a solo traveller.

The bathroom had a bathtub, which I would have preferred to be a shower. I could not charge my phone or devices when I left the room as the room card was needed for the power. Noise carried from upstairs rooms and next door, so I was woken up by people leaving early in the morning- no fault of the hotel. You need to drive to town centre, due to the location.

Spacious rooms- good to have toilet separate from bathroom. Clean modern facilities. Buffet breakfast lots of food, lots of choices. Location - easy to find- not too far walking distance 15 minutes from railway station. Lovely wellkept grounds with swimming pool.

Didn't care much for floral teas available in room. Would have liked other options - breakfast tea, or ordinary Earl Grey etc - and more teas and coffees in room .

It was small complex, however the rooms are spacious and clean! Not the most modern but not many are in France, the staff are what make the property, very friendly and helpful :) especially to me a non French speaking lady on her own. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for touring the carmague region and the les rencontres photo festival in arles. Fab pool area for when you have walked your socks off in 40 degree heat!!

Nothing the hotel can do about it, but the mossies in the area are brutal!! Get the spray in the black bottle!!!

When you order something through Booking.com it is like throwing a dart-arrow on a map. Because on Booking.com almost everything is great until you arrive. This hotel, everything was nice. I slept good, I ate good French breakfast, and I used the swimming pool.

For me it could be better if there was something about the parking. Because this hotel has a safe parking place. It's important when you drive a motorcycle.

Lovely two bed apartment on top floor of hotel with air conditioning. Perfect for families. Delicious continental breakfast included. Pool area was lovely. Plenty of sunbeds and whole hotel was very clean. Short walk into the old centre of Arles, which is beautiful and well worth a visit. Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Would recommend this hotel.

Beautiful pool, great breakfast. Staff all very helpful and polite. Comfortable beds and good sized room (we had a double and a single bed). Lovely ground floor view to pool. We didn't have a car (arrived by train) but it was good to see secure parking available.

A bit of a walk from the centre bit that wasn't a problem really as it meant the hotel was nice and peaceful in the evenings.
