The location is excellent. The Amphitheatre is a couple of blocks away and the centre of town a short walk away. I liked the location right on Place Voltaire. The balcony allowed me to people watch as I sipped my wine. The hotel is a short walk from the train station.

There is no front desk. Access to the hotel is via a pass code entered in a box on a wall. I saw no staff during my stay.

Very friendly welcome from the cafe opposite where we stored our luggage before check in (and which we visited many times for drinks during our stay). The host was lovely and answered all our queries. Room had a great balcony overlooking a lively but safe square. Decor of room was vintage, simple, uncluttered and very tasteful. No TV but a kettle which is handy. As is the fan. Should noise be a problem, then be aware that the square has lots of restaurants in it. Not an issue to us as we enjoyed watching it all from our balcony!

To be honest, a mini fridge to keep water cold, if nothing else, would have been handy, in 30 degree heat.

Very very clean! Very clear directions how to get into the hotel and my room ( no front desk of staff present) . Cute location, cute room. Important if you care: no elevator, no TV. I had a wonderful mini balcony with a cafe table and chairs! Looked out in Place de Voltaire. Restaurant underneath is fantastic.

-Super location! Near everything and with a wonderfull view of the square. -Super comfy bed. -Nice styling of the room

-No fridge in the room -3rd floor without elevator -No place in the bathroom nor much in the bedroom to put your things, so that made it a little uncomfortable. -The hotel bar/restaurant was closed, so we had to ask at the bar in front of the hotel, to put some things in the fridge. -It might be loud during the summer time, as the room is right over an important square.

Check in was 4pm. Rained most of the day and would have been better to check in at 2

I loved the view out of the window. Nice heat, lovely tea, comfy bed.

Could hear toilet flushing, shower emptying, plugs going into sockets in other rooms. Ear plugs were supplied!

Great location, decor and terrace. Really bad sound insulation between rooms and corridor. No fridge and basic amenities.

Very comfortable, spacious room with a balcony. Fabulous location. Very easy self check-in and great communication. Would definitely stay here again.

Firstly, the staff we really accommodating of our last minute date change which was really appreciated. We really enjoyed the space and the how the design of the interior had really been considered. The decor was a modern compliment to the building and the attentional to detail, including the design of the infographics is great. It’s excellent value for the rate, and feels more than just a base to stay.

We did get a little cold, but the radiators were quick to heat up - perhaps more, or thicker, blankets would be ideal. The design of the bathroom looks great but water did ‘leak’ quite a lot from the shower and we had to use towels to stop this. There isn’t a lift, which is quite common for France, and wasn’t a problem but you might want to bear this in mind if you struggle with a lot of stairs / heavy bags. It would have been great for hot drinks to be more accessible but I think this was due to staff illness. These points are more feedback, than complaints - it was a really enjoyable stay.
