The Relais de Poste is incredibly located just off the Blvd des Lices and next to the Espace Van Gogh. We dropped off our bags at 8am to set about visiting the Rencontres sites, and returned to the hotel early at 2pm to wait for check in at 3 but were shown straight to our room which was unusual and generous! The absence of parking in Arles is alleviated by the hotel sometimes being able to offer car parking space in the nearby public parking which is brilliant. Thank you guys for helping us out!

There was nothing we did not like. Even being on the 3rd floor with no lift was ameliorated by the very helpful lads on reception who carried our bags enthusiastically.

Loved the location and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. The building was really quaint.

Not too keen on the spiral staircase with heavy suitcases. Unfortunately I think we were in the smallest room which meant we had to move around one at a time. Also not being french we would have preferred a kettle and larger mugs for tea rather than the coffee machine. Only other issue was that it was described as having an airport shuttle but this didn't exist we managed with a train instead.

Wonderful hotel. Great location in the city center. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. It takes 5-7 minutes to walk from the nearest city parking to the hotel. Ask at the reception desk for a voucher to pay for parking. The room is very large, very beautiful, with individual air conditioning equipment, clean. Comfortable bed, good hot water pressure in the bathroom. Very good and tasty breakfast. Extremely friendly staff. We felt like we were living in a family.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They got special items for breakfast for special dietary requirements which was a great touch. They sent a list of restaurant recommendations--may good restaurants are within easy reach. They even recommended a restaurant at our next stop. The parking is close by and a good price. It's right in the centre of the old town so very easy to walk to all the main sights (Arena, Van Gogh's footsteps, Roman ruins etc).

Nothing really. The price value for money is good. For physically impaired people, there are 3 floors with no elevator.

the hotel is been re-done recently the rooms are ver comfortable and clean, and the location is perfect you are in the middle of the town, if you are visiting for the Arles festival you can walk everywhere.

We were given the instructions to a parking that was not reachable due to the Saturday market. The restaurant doesnt have a great service but i think is because they were under staffed.

Beautiful hotel on the edge of the pedestrian areas - so quiet, but still close to the action. Rooms were clean and stylish. Beds were comfortable. Loved the tiny balcony looking out onto the streets below and over the rooftops. The family room is great - king bed, then a dividing wall separating it from two twin beds, wish we could find this configuration more often when travelling with kids.

Front desk staff was unhelpful - seemed flustered when we asked for a taxi to the train station. We ended up walking (25 minutes with baggage).

The hotel was charming and quaint with a very nice breakfast. Our room was comfortable and so cute. The location was outstanding, close to the Arles centralized parking and a simple walk to all of the sites we wanted to see. Most of all, the hotel staff was lovely – warm, welcoming, thoughtful, and generous with their help and smiles. We loved staying here!

The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to everything. The room was large and quiet.

I typically don’t mind stairs, but the stairwell was a little tight and beige, which I found a bit uncomfortable to go down from a depth perception standpoint. Maybe add a black strip to breakup the beige? Just a consideration but it wouldn’t stop me from staying there.

Central position, nearby garage 24/24h at just €11 for 2 nights, familiar friendly atmosphere, a traditional historical place, good breakfasts with sweet and salted choice, even fresh fruit. No elevator, very small rooms, but very clean, well furnished even with excellent toiletries/soap, coffee machine, aircon, good matrass and towels. Out small dog accepted at €15/night, provided with a pet-bed!

Lovely friendly and helpful staff, all spoke perfect English. Room and hotel was very clean and well maintained, and very quiet. Comfortable bed.Great location, easy walking around the main part of arles, near to the car park. Breakfast ok

No kettle in the room, just a pointless coffee machine and no milk.
