Comfortable, clean and welcoming. Having breakfast outside in the garden was a lovely way to start the day. Easy walking distance to Intra Muros or the railway station, with a regular bus service also available if you don't want to walk.

The soundproofing between rooms isn't great - I wasn't disturbed by any noise while I was there, but guests need to be considerate of each other as sound travels easily.

The hotel was in a great location, just a minute's walk from the sea, close to a choice of bars and restaurants, and with plenty of on street parking. The room was clean and stylish, bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. The ferry port is a short drive away, so ideal for a morning departure.

- Location: it’s on the far side from the Saint-Malo fortress, but the seaside promenade is extremely nice, and the beach is very close. The bus to Cancale is only 2 blocks away; - The staff was excellent and really attentive and accommodating to me and my little daughter, thank you very much! - Great garden inside; - The breakfast was delicious; - There is a couple of really nice restaurants nearby (the Breton pancake place is just excellent) and a small convenience store

- Our bathroom was a bit worn off, and the room was on the sunny side (great for winter, less so for a heatwave) - but there is a ventilator. And frankly, great value for money, even during the high season

The hotel was ideal for an overnight stay before catching the ferry to Portsmouth. It is situated near to the beach on the East side of St Malo, away from the old town, and there are a variety of restaurants nearby. The staff were welcoming and the room was clean and had everything you need for a short stay. There was a nice breakfast room but we did not use this facility as we had an early ferry booking.

Understandably the ensuite facilities are bijou, particularly the shower, which did not cause us a problem, but would be something to bear in mind. Similar to onboard provision but less easy to access.

Love this little hotel, extremely welcoming and friendly couple who own/run it. Worth going for the superior rooms as bed bigger and room spacious. We always stay here before the boat as we like the location - beach across the road, several simple but excellent places to eat very close by.

Clean, pleasant hotel with friendly staff. Allowed us to park our bicycles in the hotel garage overnight. We were travelling with small kids and found the family room very comfortable. No parking at the hotel but the streets around are free to park and we found a space fairly easily. It's about a 25-30 minute into Saint Malo old town but there are eateries nearby.

Small comfortable room in a well appointed hotel. Very welcoming and helpful staff and a generous breakfast. The hotel is about a 40 minute walk from the intra muros along the beachfront. We came by bike and there is a safe covered area to leave them overnight. It is a 10 minute cycle to/from ferry port.

Friendly staff and a great Continental breakfast. The location, close to the beach and only a couple of kms stroll along the esplanade from St.Malo was very pleasant. A quiet location just off a Main Street, we were able to find local parking without any problem. Surprisingly few local options for dinner though, so heading back toward St.Malo is probably a better option in the evenings.
