It was really Nice and it was a pleasant stay

I Thought the restaurant could have had more choice. My apologises but i found there was a language barrier here. My French was not very good and i had difficulty communicating and i may be wrong but felt like i was a Pain to the staff ( I detected a distain from the staff that i have not had at any other Campinile.

The restaurant was excellent- good choice of meals in the evening- 2 course or 3 for a set price. The dog was made welcome too. They respected my request for a lower floor room and we had a ground floor.

The Tv was hard to get into English even when the original recording had been in English. Also I had to borrow a plug - perhaps a USB socket would have been very useful for charging phones etc.

We wanted a cheap stop over so this was perfect. Loved the motel style as our door opened onto a grassy area. Ideal as we had a dog. Restaurant menu looked great. Lovely boulanger across the road.

Did look a little grubby outside and the area around a little industrial looking.

Lovely clean and well looked after hotel. Easily located off the motorway. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was spotless and bed comfy. Air con was a blessing.

Located quite a way out of town. Buses finish at 8pm. Taxis are impossible to get, so if you do venture into Saintes (and you really should), then make sure you know how you're getting back to the hotel.

A superior just-off-the-motorway modern 'motel'. But very clean and comfortable and surprisingly quiet. The town of Saintes is wonderful with a Roman arch and amphitheatre to visit and excellent restaurants in the side streets.

Would have appreciated a small fridge in the room.

Good road connections a little way from town centre, reasonably quiet. Good breakfast and dinner. Dog friendly. Nice room better maintained than average Campanile. Would stay again. Demi-pension is good value. Like the early start for serving breakfast.

I stay here often as it’s a great central location and very close to the motorway. Staff are always very friendly - restaurant is good, parking is easy, and rooms have a bath tub! All my boxes ticked!!!

Spacious room. Motel style. Firm bed which I like. Warm in winter. Room has a porch. Lots of car parking and was able to park near my room.

No bedside table but I just used one of the two chairs in the room.

Good location just off motorway on route to Spain. Room had everything you could want, hospitality tray. Comfortable bed. We had dinner, bed & breakfast which was good and really good value

Stayed here a few times now and it’s very convenient for the drive down to Spain and back. Basic but clean and comfortable with supermarket fuel nearby and a lovely patisserie over the road for breakfast

The Aircon could be better
