The Hotel was as expected and perfect for our needs. We wanted a simple overnight stop as we travelled from the Channel to Spain. This is exactly what we got. The room was basic but recently refreshed with new towels and sheets. The walls too had been recently repainted giving a really clean feel. The hotel does not offer space and comfort, which on this occasion we did not need. Not a Hotel brand for long stays but perfect just to crash for the night and refresh ready for another long drive. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. The Hotel does the job that it promises and no more.

On arrival it did feel as if I was inconveniencing the receptionist who seemed busy with something on her phone. Just a minor irritation though. In the morning the staff member overseeing breakfast and check out was far more friendly and helpful.

Very compact cabin however the beds are big enough and it fitted us 2 big people for the stopover

Lots of free parking. Receptionist was lovely. Room was small but clean, wifi worked, shower gel smelt gorgeous and the bed was comfortable.

Only 1 towel each which was a challenge as we both have long hair to dry.

Location, easy to find, plenty of parking, big supermarket round the corner. Excellent value for money. We've been using this hotel as a stopover on the way from Roscoff for years and have always had a good experience. We always have plenty of time to go into Saintes - well worth a visit.

Nothing at all, we've been stopping over here for years and can't see any reason to change this.

Exceptional value for money! Close to the A10 as travelling through France. Very clean and comfortable. Towels were a bonus! Perfect stop over. If you wanted a meal, it was available.

This is not a luxury hotel but it does exactly what you need, a clean confy bed when you are travelling long distances. We arrived at 1:30am because our channel crossing was delayed. We had a password, got into our rooms, one next to each other, at ground floor level and the car parked in front of the rooms. The rooms were clean, the bed confy and we were allowed with our dog. It is all we wanted at a great price!

All was good. Nothing to dislike.

I'm diabetic so not much for me for breakfast, the egg boiler is so slow, I waited 10 mins and eggs were still runny. No breakfast tea, I had to bring my own t-bag! Could be ham as well as cheese

Location, easy to find

Was on ground floor which is what we asked for, the terrace at the back says closed after 10pm but the light is left on and a man was there at about 11pm talking very loud on his mobile for about 20 minutes but there are no staff there to stop this behaviour, so was very disappointed
