The hotel location was great—quiet and away from the crowded, touristy part of the area. The hotel looked exactly like the photos. Our room was clean and comfortable. We really loved the details of the decor and design in both the room and the hotel. Interestingly, the shampoo and hand soap were from the brand Fragonard, which has a perfume factory and even a branch of it in the village. What captivated us the most here were the details. Beautiful design with great attention to detail. The hotel pool is free to use and a great spot for sunbathing with a beautiful mountain view.

Nothing about the hotel itself. ✅ But one important point: if you’re coming to this hotel without a car, keep in mind that access to the hotel isn’t always possible by public transportation at all hours of the day and night. Sometimes you’ll have to wait a long time, take a taxi, or walk up the steep road 😌

An excellent and nutritious breakfast every morning in which they would prepare scrambled eggs if you wish - in addition to all the other items on their banquet table. The room was decorated oh so wonderfully! I felt that amazing "sensation francaise" throughout the entire hotel...the lobby/parlor, dining area, the guests rooms, the staircase, and the garden and pool outside. Just amazing. And the staff...all of them are just gracious, kind and fun. They made my stay perfect!

The staff were very friendly and very helpful indeed. Made to feel very welcome and same for my pet dog who got lots of attention and treats. There is a bus stop just metres away that had services to Nice and to Beaulieu-sur-Mer (2 routes) that was useful instead of driving. Good breakfast choice. The rooms and the building are in a very nice style. I would recommend the hotel to others.

I loved the location of the hotel. Beautiful views and a calm place. The personnel was very kind and informative. I didn't eat dinner but the dinner options seemed (and smelled) delicious. I also appreciated being given the option to have a small meal for dinner even if it wasn't in the menu. Next time (and I hope there is a next time), I will ask for a room with a mountain view. It was easy to get to without a car as the bus stop is a few steps away.

While my room had an ocean view, it faced a road with some traffic so I couldn't enjoy the balcony as much. The traffic did stop at night so I had no problem sleeping. Also, there was a misunderstanding with the breakfast as I assumed it was included and it wasn't. I don't eat much of for breakfast so it ended up being an overly expensive meal, although there were many options available for those who like a more substantial breakfast.

All of the staff were outstanding, very hospitable, flexible and accommodating. The grounds are lovely, with relaxing and picturesque seating by a small fountain. There is also a swimming pool. The location is perfect if you have a car.

No fridge in the room (I like milk in my tea). Room is pretty small but did not feel small because we had a deck room. Great air con, although couldn't seem to turn it up.

- the location itself was amazing, quite far away from the crowded places though, so food options were quite limited - the staff was incredibly friendly - they organised a jazz evening with live music and bubbly, which was just magical

- limited restaurant / supermarket options nearby - our room was extremely small - there could’ve been a bit more veggies/fruits for breakfast

Amazing little hotel with very very helpful and friendly staff. The bed was super comfortable and the views from the room balcony were stunning. Great housekeeping as well, everything was tidied up really nicely.

There aren't any shops around, which can be somewhat inconvenient. But that's what you get for booking a great secluded location.

Great location close to the hilltop village. Ample parking. Friendly, helpful staff. The property has a large yard with a pool and lovely seating areas in a garden setting.

Their restaurant was closed because it was off-season (winter). Eating lunch or dinner requires driving to the village or down to the ocean because there isn't anything place walking distance.

This place is really beautiful and every corner you look at is thought of. The garden and pool area are amazing, and perfect for relaxing. Staff are kind and smiling. breakfast is nice. Access by bus from Nice is an advantage. we were there before check-in time and it was super hot, we were exhausted... so I asked the lady at reception if we could use the pool area while waiting and she said "of course". was indeed a perfect start for our stay :)

I think most of the rooms are really small. our room was not an exception. well designed and squicky clean, but small! there's barely space to open your suitcase. The bathroom and the shower especially are also compact. Airco was a bit loud and woke us up during the night when it turned on (but it was too hot not to turn it on).

Marilyn and Thomaz were both brilliant and so helpful. For a boutique hotel the room was compact and clean with a great terrace. The pool was really good. Breakfast was plentiful.

Needs to open up the restaurant as it will add value to your stay. It has the facility but it is not utilised. Tree cutting at 0730 was a big minus.
