Handy location. Most of the reception staff were extremely helpful. We communicated perfectly with my rusty German and their excellent English. Useful to be able to leave my bag in the secure room after I checked out. Thanks.

I'm not a fan of the Ibis breakfasts. Haven't been ever. For years. It's expensive for what it is and the quality isn't great. Maybe Ibis should try something different? Maybe offer a small choice, but absolutely fresh (? croissants baked on-site?) - everything from locally-sourced local farms and bakeries etc in the area?

I was welcomed in a much appreciated friendly manner at 2am upon my arrival. I loved having a nice big double bed after coming from staying a hostel, and it was just great having a room to myself. Everything was spotless, the linens and towels were very clean, the storage was great and the bathroom also. I had everything I needed for my stay. The breakfast was a treat in the morning, I thoroughly enjoyed my eggs and coffee - especially with the oat milk on hand.

I would have loved to have more access to gluten free and dairy free breakfast items especially for the price of €17 but that is the only thing.

This hotel is very well placed for train travel, and to see the main sights of Augsburg. The room was a reasonable size and comfortable, I slept pretty well. The breakfast (for an additional charge) was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Augsburg who needs to be near the main train station.

There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

The staff are very kind and helpful both those working at the front desk and the ones in the breakfast room, as well as the others. Some of their members are even friendly, such as the lady at the front desk who showed me on the map how to get to the museums. The room, though a bit small, was comfortable, especially the bed, the toughness of its mattress being the adequate for a good rest. The room maids performed a very good job. The breakfast was good and abundant, albeit I missed some dried dates and plumps in the buffet. There is no music at breakfast time. That allows one to have that meal peacefully in a pleasant atmosphere, with no disturbing noise.

No kettle is available for the customers. No safe in the bedrooms. At a certain moment in the evening, at about 7 o'clock, one hears many door slams. Fortunately enough that's not the case later, from 9 o'clock onward.

Very conveniently located near the train station, the Ibis Augsburg was pleasant, comfortable and convenient. The staff were polite and professional.

There were no problems at all. The hotel is a good example of a standard mid-range business hotel. Perhaps the breakfast at 17€ per person is a bit overpriced.

LOCATION, but NO loiterers...Close to tram, buses...Elevator was easy to use, just press...McDonald's, REWE, Müller, C & A and the DM are close by. Walking distance to the bus transfer lines and the Netto. I also loved that the room cleaning was fast, and efficient.

No water boiler, but I got one at the Müller.

Alex at check-in was so friendly and helpful! He was so welcoming and was intentional to make us feel welcome. He spent time showing us a map of the town and provided us with umbrellas. Wow! Our room was simple but very clean. All we needed!!

I can’t think of something. If I dig deep, the direction in which the door to the bathroom opens wasn’t ideal. It couldn’t be done the other way of course, as the bathroom was too small for that, but this way, you needed to move your suitcases out of the way first, before you opened it

The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was adequate. the location is very good.

No airconditioning in the room. Most of the channels on the TV were scrambled. The hotel bar TV didn't work, so we couldn't watch the soccer game.

Excellent location , just a 2 minute walk from the main rail station , and the city centre less than a 5 minute walk away . The staff were very polite and helpful . The room was spacious and comfortable .
