The hotel is located in several old buildings. The rooms are cozy, although furnished in a somewhat outdated style. The bed is large and comfortable. The bathroom is large and has everything you need for a shower. The TV has a variety of channels. The bed has an interesting "shelf" that moves on wheels... I used it to store my morning essentials (and it's convenient). The internet is good. The breakfast is minimalist, but you can still eat your fill. Communication (in German) was easy :) Across the street are two supermarkets for different budgets. You can walk to the sights, or take the tram or bus. Transportation from the train station is a bit odd (it's best to take the tram and transfer at Kaiserplatz). Return buses leave directly from the hotel.

One of downsides is the smell of an old basement on the ground floor. I'm 195 cm tall, and the blanket was too small for me (just enough to keep my toes from getting cold). But, having traveled around Bavaria, I get the impression this is a problem with 80% of hotels. A tram runs right outside the window, making it difficult to sleep without earplugs (available at reception).

Good location near historic centre, walking distance to most of them, lots of good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was good, enough variety to satisfy us, lots of healthy options. Secure parking for bikes.

Bathroom design was interesting. Shower had no door and not much of a lip to catch water so the entire floor was wet despite our efforts to contain it. The sink stopper didn't work, and the faucet design was such that water went everywhere. Cleaning staff had washed the carpet which was still wet by the bed when we arrived an hour later. We were at least an hour earlier than planned, however the carpet was still damp the next morning. Rooms face the street so noise can be a factor, but there are ear plugs available at the reception. No elevator, lots of stairs to our room.

The hotel was in a very good location that was easy to find. It was a short walk to the centre. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We arrived a little early but were allowed to leave our car in the hotel's car park, so although our room was not quite ready it was not a problem for us. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. We would gladly use this hotel again on our journeys through Germany.

We were worried that the trams running past the hotel would wake us as they start running very early, but, as it happened, they didn't bother us.

We liked the location of the property, the price was very reasonable. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable. Those are the most important priorities for us.

There wasn’t much wrong for us but things I would mention that might be an issue with others. We were there in a June and we experienced a few days with temps around 30 degrees. The rooms do not have A/C but to be fair it wasn’t too bad, that might have become a problem with consistently high temps over several days, something to consider maybe.

The location was excellent.Right opposite the Fuggerei and within easy walking distance of the railway station (for those of average mobility). There is a small car park and it is on a good bus route. Their accommodation is straightforward, spacious, clean and comfortable. Excellent shower, good continental breakfast choice. We were visiting our nephew studying at the University of. We loved the town and would certainly stay at the Jakoberhof again.

We travelled during a hot period and since the stay was not expensive, we were afraid, the temperatures in the room might be too high for a good night's sleep. But the room had an AC and so everything was great. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the location, right opposite of the Fuggerei.

Parking is limited. With 6,9 Euro per day it is really cheap if you are able to get a spot.

There is noise because it is in a central point , Also It is not the first time I stay at the hotel and there is always a problem with the parking spaces even if you have paid. I hope the management will take care this issue.

A small budget hotel close to the center of Augsburg, located in several buildings. When traveling on a business trip and working all day, a perfect place to spend the night. Many good German and international food restaurants nearby. Breakfast corresponds to the number of stars of the hotel - there are also salty dishes.

One set of keys for the double room, as both must coordinate arrival at the hotel.

Everything I needed at a great price right across from a UNESCO site. I really enjoyed the the in-room coffe maker and relaxing chairs to drink it in.

The S-bahn runs right outside the window. They keep reasonable hours, but it was a bit of an alarm earlier than expected. The only real issue was the minimal barrier to keep water in the shower. I had to tuck up against the end to keep the water from splashing out.

Super clean, well arranged room with super comfy chairs. Very nice fresh bathroom! Amazing table on wheels on the bed for breakfast, writing, tablet, etc!

Option for breakfast available 8€pp, was expecting more warm food, like omelet, porridge, some sausage, maybe bacon, but was only hard boiled egg warm.
