Exceptional mountain views, nature, calm. Nice, traditional building, good delicious breakfast and I mostly appreciate the customer service- we felt welcomed with all our needs.

We got a small room for our needs - with a baby and a dog. We managed, but for the baby cot which was put to assemble in our room there simply was no space for it. The service offered us another room the next day and it was our decision to stay for the only one more night in the same room (not to move again).

WiFi was just about none existent, I went down to reception regarding this 3 times. In the end someone came to check it out in our room and couldn’t get WiFi either. I was told it was due to the weather, yet the weather was perfect. I felt fobbed off as the WiFi was not strong enough for the size of the property.

The location was beautiful and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I was traveling with my brother and we wanted 2 separate beds, in separate rooms, which was difficult to find last minute. We were in room 100., and it was perfect. There was a mix of old & modern.

There were a few, I believe to be mosquitoes in the rooms, and a spider in the area where old stove was. I wish there had been a coffee machine & coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, cups, etc, and a mini fridge. There was only a water heating carafe.

We booked a double room but ended up being placed in a two bedroom suite. We had plenty of room to spread out! The staff was courteous. The breakfast buffet was extensive with farm-fresh eggs, cold cuts, wonderful bread rolls (fresh from the bakery), cheese, yogurt...and of course, hot beverages and juice. The views were incredible from the dining room and our suite. Everything is sparkling clean.

The bed was firmer than I like. The furnishings are a bit dated. This was not a big problem for me.

This hotel is a real gem among accommodations. Nestled in the beautiful alpine nature, almost secluded, this is a complete paradise. Sufficiently large parking lot right next to the hotel. All the staff were very patient and helpful. Upon arrival, we were even greeted with a welcome drink in the form of prosecco. That was nice. The hotel is pet friendly, they even have a fenced enclosure where your dog can run freely. You don't see that very often, so extra points. The interior of the hotel is rustic, but the room was simply beautiful. Comfortable beds with comfortable mattresses. But the balcony with the luxurious view of the surrounding beautiful nature was completely unique. If the beds weren't so comfortable, I would have slept on that balcony. The hotel breakfast was absolutely sufficient, we found everything we expect from a hotel breakfast. Actually, it was one of the best hotel breakfasts we got during our vacation this year. We were also very satisfied with dinner in the hotel restaurant. We really liked the regional cuisine. My bavarian roast with gravy and bacon dumpling was simply fantastic. The meat completely fell apart in the mouth and melted on the tongue. Wife had soup and their turkey salad. It was so big that we simply didn't have a chance to eat it all. And it was also very tasty. As I wrote, this hotel is really a gem. In the end, we regretted that we could not stay here for more days and had to leave. Whenever we find ourselves in the area, we would stay here again.

We stay in an apartment with 4 people and a dog. There was a bedroom and a big living room with 2 single beds. It was spacious. Breakfast was good with many varieties. The view from our balcony was gorgeous.

The property location is a bit remote but worth to stay given its fantastic scenery around the property.

Alpenhotel is located at a perfect location, right at the main road. Very easy to come by car or taxi. We also noticed a bus stop right at the hotel. the breakfast was superb and the view from restaurant was also mesmerising. Not to forget about the staff, super friendly and super helpful. we were stuck in traffic and there was already a packet with keys and all the instructions. we were also given guest card to get a discount at certain locations.

Everything was great, However, the room was smaller than we expected and the odour from washroom wasn't great.

Breakfasts were very nice with a good selection of items to choose from. The brotchen was especially fresh and delicious. The view from the hotel was just beautiful. We had mountain and valley views. The rooms were clean. The restaurant in the hotel had good local food. It was nice to eat there after a day of hiking and sightseeing.

Our bed was a bit too hard for our liking.

View from both restaurant and balcony amazing (goats roaming on the hills in the morning), room spacious and clean, breakfast very nice. We arrived after a long hike right before the restaurant was to be closed and the staff made sure we were able to have dinner.

There was (a very small) tax added when paying at the property. The booking confirmation says there might be a spa tax applied and yet the price displayed is "after all taxes", which is somewhat confusing. This is rather a Booking.com issue and not the property's.

We travelled over a week around Munich, Berchtesgaden and Austria (Salzburg and Hallstatt), and among all the hotel stays, this was the best. Absolutely 10/10. We had a huge balcony with amazing views of hills and cattle grazing. There is free parking, and a bus stop which makes this very accessible. Breakfast was a full buffet and we regret not trying everything (there was a lot of options!) We could also take a few drinks to our room in the evening and had the option to have dinner (we did not try the dinner)

There is nothing not to like about this hotel/stay. Perhaps people travelling with public transport will have a some accessibility issues.
