We loved that the room was really big, light and spacious. The table and chairs were very useful for organising our belongings and there was loads of wardrobe space and hooks for jackets and bags. The views of the valley and Watzmann were incredible. It was also great to have a really big cold fridge downstairs for guest use. Wish everywhere had this to keep water and packed lunches for hikes cold. We planned our Alpine Route journey in a hurry and hadn't even realised that the famous picturesque St Sebastian Church was next door to the accommodation. We also loved the spa garden, saline inhalation shed and Kneipp water treading pool nearby. The food at the restaurant was so good- would highly recommend the Majes with potato salad it was huge and very tasty. The breakfast was also great, delicious meats, cheeses, boiled eggs, rolls, butter, jam and you could help yourself to tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers which I love having with breakfast. Would definitely come back to stay here on our next visit to the Alps.

The views from the room are simply awe inspiring. The staff with their warm smiles and friendly nature went out of their way to exceed our expectations. The dining options, though limited were prepared with great care and tasted lovely. The cakes made by them were especially delicious. Overall, it is a wonderful place to stay even for extended periods of time.

Beautiful place to stay. Perfect location, with a spectacular view. Room was on the second floor, but no worries there is an elevator. Very clean spacious room and bathroom with nice warm water. Delicious breakfast was included and as for the dinner, they have their restaurant downstairs with great food. Staff was very helpful and very nice.

It would be very helpful if they if they would have their menu written also in English. The same goes for the brochures. English is the official language of the EU.

The location is great! It is situated in the mountains where within a few minutes you find endless trails that lead to jaw-dropping mountains view and astonishing surroundings. Staff are all super friendly, and the breakfast is always on point. I stayed in a three bedroom that has a huge bathroom. The ATM is right across the place and the small village is right below about 300 meters. I drove to all other famous sights within minutes to include Königsee and Salt manufactory. I would definitely come here again.

Incredibly accommodating staff. We traveled with our daughter and they provided us with a larger room to fit in her bassinet. Gave great recommendations for activities as well. Lovely, traditional german breakfast and wonderful views. Spacious room and beds were comfortable. Would definitely come back and can only recommend this accommodation.

Steep stairs to the room if you've got heavier luggage, otherwise perfect.

The staff was very helpful and kind. Also the hiking trail right off of the hotel is amazing! Many activities nearby and an amazing view. The view was so good, I woke up at 4 am just to watch the sunrise outside of my window. Oh and there are alpacas in the town at the park!

Beautiful area! Room was clean. Staff was nice.

Lack of parking, room was in a separate building down the street, but we were not aware until check-in, and did not receive assistance with our luggage to the top floor.

The surroundings, location close to attractions, hotel and room are cozy and staff was friendly.

Wifi in the room was awful, I had to work a little and I couldn't do it well. Sometimes the main door was slapped and we could hear it.

The location is just wonderful, surrounded by beautiful mountains and very peaceful and quiet, many options to explore the area.

Breakfast is not always available and in general restaurants close early.

It was very nice and clean, staff were very helpful and friendly! The breakfast was great and you get a ticket for buses for free. The location was excellent right in the middle between Hintersee and Königsee also very close to Salzburg by car or bus. Loved it 😍
