Beautiful Location and Remarkably Trained International Staff Hotel Rehlegg is nicely located on an elevated piece of land, offering breathtaking mountain views. What impressed us most was the consistently well-organized and harmoniously functioning service team. Though the staff came from a wide range of countries (Romania, India, Indonesia, Germany, Vietnam, etc.), they all seemed to have been trained under a unified and high standard – possibly by an excellent mentor. This created a smooth and pleasant atmosphere that positively impacted our entire stay.

It was not in the national park but surrounded by it.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Location was stunning and decor and facilities were excellent. Meals were amazing, fresh, local produce. Loved the hotel's approach to sustainability. It was great to get a guest pass for local buses and it also offered discounts on entry fees.

We found the mattress too soft. We raised this with staff after the first night, and they did try and improve the situation by putting some kind of board underneath the top layer of mattress making a slight improvement. Despite the soft mattress we would return as we loved everything else.

Spectacularly located lovely hotel with amazing views. Staff and service were exceptional. Bed (Haestens) incredibly comfortable. Cosy, warm and inviting. Delicious food with a great variety The Spa facilities and services were wonderful (excellent full body massage) The wellness facilities are excellent - especially the panorama sauna with the amazing views and the outdoor heated swimming pool and relaxing area. Free electric car charging at the back of the hotel! Highly recommend this wonderful place.

I was traveling solo, and had a single room. The put me on an "allocated table" for my dinners, and it was tucked all the way at the back, making me feel even more "solo".

This was by far the nicest hotel that my husband and I have ever stayed in. The staff was so friendly and wonderful and I think we were the only English speaking guests there and they always went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and all spoke English to accommodate us. The views from the entire hotel are stunning, pictures Just don't do it justice. There is so much to do close by with rental car and short hikes within the town. The food was unbelievable. A huge buffet for breakfast and dinner that changes all the time and is fresh, natural and some of the best meals that we had in Germany. There are so many little amenities and touches that make this just the most relaxing, beautiful place to be and if we ever came back to this area we would 100% stay again!

The only complaint that we had is that our room was super hot which made sleeping difficult. Not sure if it was just the location of our room or if heat had turned on cuz it had been cold a few days prior but then warmed up. We tried to adjust in our room but it still remained very warm.

It really is the most beautiful hotel in a stunning location. All of the faciliites were lovely in particular the outside swimming pool and I very much appreciated the indoor pool being open 24 hours. Potentially the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and I felt incredibly rested after my stay. Some really thoughtful small touches such as wine/champagne at reception for guests and coffee in the morning to take with you as you start your day. I also loved the gift of a loaf of sourdough at the end of my trip - a very nice touch. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Can't fault anything about my trip at all.

All the staff was really lovely and kind! They were outstanding at all times! In addition to that, the hotel is beautiful. All the facilities sugest you to have a good time and relax! The small details make a big difference! We just loved everything! I really recomend it, if you want to have a relaxing time. Not very good for loud groups, since it's a quiet environment. And can't forget about the food! Delicious and amazing breakfast!

Maybe the internal pool could be a bit warmer (the water, not the place). And the menu at dinner, have the name of the food also in English. But honestly, that's very minor, and it didn't make our stay less perfect!

This was, by far, the most extraordinary stay I've ever experienced. The beautiful grounds, the exceptional staff, the wonderful meals all impressed me. I was a bit skeptical when I researched the location, but I found that it, too, was perfect. The hillside site provided a great view of the town and the surrounding valley and mountains. The bus stop was convenient, too. I used the bus to access 4 different hiking destinations in Berchtesgaden National Park. That was a perfect holiday that left me feeling happy and relaxed. A lovely hotel with exceptional food , we have been many times.

There was significant and intrusive building noise in our room for most of our stay … and our complaint was handled in a disappointing manner. We were reluctantly offered a room without a sauna ( a major attraction to us) and no financial recompense or incentives were offered as an acknowledgment of our loss of enjoyment.

This hotel has so much to be proud of - excellent food, great wellness, a perfect position, and professional staff. Breakfasts and dinners were a top-class, the afternoon snacks also provided a great choice for hungry hikers. The wellness area is stylishly and comfortably equipped. An extra bonus were a lot of accessories for our dog - a dog pillow, bowl, snack and even more welcoming surprises made this stay unforgettable. Many thanks.

They pay attention to every single detail! The food is amazing, the location is great. The app is usedul and easy to use.

at the dinner you can’t help yourself with the food, but there is a guy who decides how big portion you get from the food, telling him what you’d like to taste. Never experienced similar. Our room was a little bit too cold for us- it was around the corner so maybe this was the reason. But couldn’t manage to find how we can heat more in the room. No A/C. Unfortunately we didn’t like the bed which was advertized so much at the check-in, it was way too soft, but we slept well.
