The hotel was really clean & it’s huge. Our room was huge & has a huge bathroom. The staff were friendly & the young tall man at the concierge desk was such a lovely man. Very helpful indeed. There is a small fridge in your room so it was handy to buy bottled water & even snacks to put in there. Walking distance from aldi & nissa (i think the store was called) & also a macdonalds. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel but preferred portfolio or something like thats it called to the other restaurant. The food was out of this world & so filling. That was just a main course. You can get snacks to eat at the bar & ive seen some people getting just eat to deliver stuff at the hotel too. Theres a bus stop just round the corner from the hotel which was so easy to get to & you get off at the other side of the road when coming back. I have a walking stick so it was easy for me plus the buses move down so it’s easy to get on & off with prams & wheelchairs. It’s a bendy bus so no stairs to climb. There is also a train station just across the bridge again walking distance.

No iron or iron board in room nor tea/coffee facilities unless you ask reception for. They sent these things up really quick but you need to supply your own tea/coffee, milk & sugar (unless you’re in bigger rooms which they got a coffee machine). They only give you the kettle & dinky cups. If you’re eating at any of the two restaurants downstairs, ask when they are closed because we were gutted that they don’t open every night. It’s in like an industrial side of Berlin. Maybe it’s the old part of Berlin.

The breakfast option was too expensive, I would have liked to have had breakfast on a couple of the days but it was too expensive.

Comfortable room, very friendly and efficient staff. I arrived the day after my birthday, which the receptionist noticed from my passport and she gave me a gutschein for a drink — that was very thoughtful and I really appreciated it. She also remembered five days later that I was there to visit my daughter in Neukölln, and asked about my visit. That was an impressive level of engagement, and I felt valued.

I would really like to have been able to get a decent cup of coffee in the morning, but was just directed to a machine. A little coffee bar, with pastries and coffee, for those who really don't want a standard hotel breakfast would be great. If there is one, I wasn't directed to it when I asked if there was somewhere I could get a coffee (at 7am). A kettle in the room would be good if there's nowhere to get a good morning drink. Was surprised there was no conditioner/shampoo only the generic liquid soap - I don't carry those any more as most hotels supply

Really impressive lobby and guest facilities like an amazing spa and gym. Rooms were more simple rather than luxurious, but very clean and comfortable as well as quiet. Price was really good for what you received.

There was just one restaurant available during the day and the food was overpriced and not so good. The lack of facilities to make tea/ coffee in the room wasn't great - so you had to buy drinks in the cafe and restaurant - and these were on the pricier side. Location was in the middle of nowhere although it was worth it to have the high standard.

Very friendly and helpful staff everywhere in this hotel. Centrally located, 5 minutes walk from the nearest train station. Riverside in front of the hotel. Nice and modern interior. Great infrastructure for events. Very good food in the hotel restaurants.

Not a single clothes hangers in the cupboard upon arrival. After calling housekeeping, I had them within less than 5 minutes though. Mineralwater available in the minibar, but very expensive (5 EUR for 0.5 ltr.). Air condition was out of order and the window could not be opened. Very hot and sticky in the room. Upon my departure there was just one taxi outside the hotel. The taxi driver was not interested in bringing me to the train station. He claimed that he just received an order for a more profitable ride.

We liked the room; it was spacious, had a great cozy bed, and surprised with a good view. The staff was really helpful and friendly. I loved that the hotel has digital check-in and check-out, but they are also happy to help when check-in happens in person. The coffee we had was delicious. It is especially wonderful that the hotel allows guests to stay with pets. Another thing I would like to mention is the art around the hotel, it captures your attention and makes the overall experience more interesting.

We wish there were a kettle and cups to make tea or coffee in the room. Of course, we could use the room service or visit the hotel bar, but it is not always preferable or convenient.

Very nice room, comfortable bed, and a very modern bathroom. A little bit far from the tourist attractions but worth it for the nice, large room and modern bathroom at a very reasonable price.

The staff was a bit hit and miss… some were lovely, some were clueless, and some clearly had forgotten their smile. I asked about the outdoor restaurant by the water, decided to go there for dinner, to find it was closed for a private function. You would think the reception staff knows when a restaurant is closed for an event…

Conveniently located near the S42 ring train, offering quick access to any part of Berlin. A cozy neighborhood by the canal. The room is very spacious, bright, comfortable, and clean. The hotel itself is large, beautiful, and has many comfortable areas. The staff is also very friendly and polite. It’s not my first time in Berlin, but it’s my first time staying at this hotel — and it was the best experience so far. I’ll definitely come back here again 😍 My room was so amazing that I almost didn’t want to go anywhere😅

Very good stay, great location We had a good experience at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and everything was presentable. The location is excellent—close to a train station and within walking distance of bus stops. There are also plenty of food options in the surrounding area which was really convenient.

It would be even better if complimentary bottled water was provided in the room, instead of having to pay for it. Other than that, everything else was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

I had a great stay at the Estrel Hotel. The staff is absolutely fantastic — very polite, professional, and quick to respond to any requests. Their attention to guest comfort really stood out and made the experience smooth and enjoyable. The only downside was that I wasn’t informed in advance that the bottled water in the room is charged at €5 per bottle, which came as a bit of a surprise. Overall, though, it’s a high-quality hotel with excellent service. Would definitely recommend!
