We loved almost everything about this hotel: - Great location, a few minutes walk away from the Zoologischer Garten transport hub with S-Bahn trains, U-Bahn (metro), buses; with 2 shopping malls round the corner and lots of eateries nearby. - Amazing breakfast, with a few hot dishes, freshly made pancakes, all types of eggs (hard- and soft-boiled, scrambled, omelette with toppings), dozens of cold cuts, cheeses, all imaginable condiments, fresh and pickled vegetables, quality fruit (not bland tasting like in many other places), lots of yoghurts, breads and muesli to choose from, wonderfully moist chocolate muffins with coconut filling, even a cake (German variety). - The room (in the new wing of the hotel, though I believe we were upgraded for free): spacious, clean, with very good blackout curtains and a soft carpet. - Quietness of the room (despite the central location it was really quiet in the room). - Large and soft bed (which is extremely difficult to find in a hotel nowadays), so I could finally wake up with no back pain, as opposed to most other hotels. - Modern and spacious bathroom that had great lighting, a makeup mirror with zoom, high-quality toiletries, a bath and a shower which is really convenient. - Strong Wifi. - Quiet AC.

- Strong food smells outside so we couldn't open the window at times. - Pretty weak AC, which is probably not so bad as it won't give you a cold, but it can be a problem when it's superhot outside.

We loved this hotel, everything is thought of. Reception staff and concierge are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are of a very high standard with staff offering cleaning and turndown service daily during our stay. Hotel has a pool and spa services. Trendy Gin Bar located in the hotel with wonderful restaurant offering steak and other food options. Special mention to the Breakfast Staff and Mater Di. Even during the busy times, staff were excellent and never appeared anxious and under pressure. The range of food for breakfast was the best we have experienced.

Everything, everyone was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were very gracious and comfortable. We both loved the beds.

Just EXCELLENT ! The hotel is in a great location in d centre of the city, all amenities nearby. Superb comfortable room., very comfortable bed. The bathroom is just fantastic there is a bath but also a shower all of the highest standard. The staff are friendly and go out of there way to help. Indeed it’s a rare find. Would recommend it anytime Great value for money too.

The location is excellent, bus stop and subway are very close, making it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and several attractions. The lobby was bright and welcoming, and check-in was fast and efficient. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the pillow menu. Housekeeping did a great job each day, and the complimentary bottled water was refilled everyday. Breakfast was varied and tasty, with plenty of options. The staff was attentive and always greeted us with a smile. Not to forget the food at the lobby bar/restaurant as well as their Gin bar where we had a great time as well.

The location was amazing. It was literally opposite the zoo & bus stop. Walking distance to a nice area of shops & restaurants. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The rooms had everything you could need. Breakfast was beautiful & a great selection. The staff were so friendly & helpful, they couldn't do enough for you. We didn't speak a lot of German but the staff didn't make us feel embarrased. The swimming pool was a lovely addition to our stay to relax in.

The hotel is in an excellent location next to Tiergarten and easily within walking distance of many of the main sights in the city. Also close to both the overground and underground trains making transport super easy. The hotel itself is fantastic. The staff are welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The luggage storage is really secure. The rooms are A-MAZING. Comfiest bed I think I've ever had in a hotel. Nicely decorated, spacious, clean. Housekeeping were brilliant and kept folding things we did not expect to have folded! Every member of staff we encountered during the stay was lovely. The price we paid and the service we got.. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I didn't want to leave! I will 100% be back next time I visit Berlin. If you're looking for somewhere to stay PICK HERE.

There was nothing at all I could possibly complain about.

Right across from the location is the Berlin Zoo, which was the main reason for our visit. There are also many great restaurants in the area. We had a leak from the AC that posed a fire hazard. We reported it as a safety concern and were told someone would come to fix it. Eventually, they changed our room to a smaller but newer one, which was a nice gesture. However, not a big deal, but the experience could have been better if they had offered to change the room from the start.

There is no parking at the location. There are a few options nearby, but if you have a lot of luggage, it can be frustrating.

Very friendly staff everywhere! Very helpful- enabled early check in for 2/3 rooms which was very welcomed after journey. They also arranged a bottle of fizz, card and cake for my husband who was celebrating his 60th birthday which made it really special! Great location and rooms, some nice touches like sweets on reception, slippers and robes. Breakfast was fabulous and an experience in itself - so relaxing and beautiful restaurant. Food superb.

Bar closed at 9pm!! Crazy for a city centre hotel when visiting in a group at a weekend. We were offered to get drinks in the “Gin Bar”. This area was not suitable for elderly parents - loud dance music and dark so we brought drinks back into lobby. There was no atmosphere and no one else there due to bar being closed. The drinks were EXTORTIONATELY priced from the gin bar so we did not do it again - avoid!! Room quality and bathroom quality varied amongst our group - some areas of the hotel had been refurbished.
