Location is good, there is a U- and tram stop very near. Easy to use public transport. I liked the room, we got a little bigger room with a nice wiew/ window outside. The room was comfortable and spacious. Room was clean. There is a renervation going on so public premises were littlr outdated but it didn’t disturbe me. There was a coffeemacine, it was nice. We didnt take breakfast.

There were little noises because of the renervatuion but it didnt bother us a lot. Little outdatet public spaces but at the same time i kind of liked it. Basic hotel but cosy.

The location is good with excellent transport links. Parts of the hotel look a bit tired but it's comfortable and warm. Great beds. Great bathrooms. Excellent breakfast spread - but see note below.

One member of staff was very blunt when I inquired about variations in room rates(I had two bookings, one for six days, then a separate booking for the two previous dates, and the rates for the same room were markedly different.) The breakfast was not included and was expensive for the amount of breakfast I want - a range of price options might be better. Also tea and coffee making in rooms would be good.

The room still had a nice atmosphere of old things, the bed was comfortable and bathroom was pleasant. We had a calm night rest here and delicious while a bit overpriced breakfast. Communication with the staff was a bit awkward. They offering a bottle of water in the room, you can drink it and pay for it. It's was in a fancy bottle and cost €4, not too expensive, but it was the worst water taste I ever had :D Probably I just didn't get it, sorry guys :) It was a ton of dust on our lamps, but everything else was clean. Fixing works are ongoing and they didn't even tried to hide it, you can see a room with a pile of building materials on your way to your room.

Very charming hotel. It is on an older building and it shows, but it is part of its charm! The room was very spacious and clean. It's an easy walk both the metro and tram. Lots of restaurants and shops around.

Since this is an older building, the bathroom in the room did not exist originally. This would not be a problem but the finishes and the way it's closed on the ceiling makes it look awkward and it kind of ruins the vibe of the room. This is purely aesthetic and not a functional problem.

Exceptional staff and a just outside the center location; which allows you to go in any direction easily and efficiently. Also, allowed us an extra day due to a one day airline personnel strike.

This is not really a criticism. The hotel is obviously going through some upgrades and refurbishing. I do think the mats/rugs taped to the stairs could be a hazard for certain people but I am sure this is a temporary thing.

The room was clean and renovated. High ceilings, large windows, wooden stairs, and details in the hallway on the first floor. Availability of an elevator.

The hotel is located near an intersection, and during our stay, emergency vehicles frequently used their sirens to pass through, which made it quite noisy. Inside the hotel, sounds from the corridor and other rooms were also quite audible. Additionally, I didn’t like that the stairs on the lower floors were covered with an unattractive rag.

The family room was clean, very spacious and bright and the hotel was in a great location (bus stop and tram nearby a few stop away from city centre). You can get free hot water on the first floor from the coffee machine (really useful for pot noodles!) The telly worked (and was not a stupid internet TV) so we could watch the Olympics!

The en-suite bathroom had no window nor working aeration so it was incredibly damp. Not such a problem during summer when we could open the bedroom windows but might feel different during winter.

This is the fourth time I’ve stayed in this hotel and it’s always nice to, the rooms are very spacious and clean, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is big, everything is great will be staying in this hotel on my next visit.

It was very cold the first day, they gave me a small heater and it did helped a lot. They turned the heating on on day 2 which was good.

Stayed here for the Berlin Marathon which was right on the course route. Perfect location for that and all things Berlin. Very close to bus/tram/train stations. Easy to find. Great staff. Large room with a good shower. This place was so much cheaper than what we saw elsewhere in Berlin, just a really great value.

Rooms could use a bit of updating but that is common for almost all hotels in Europe, especially those in older towns/buildings. Didn’t bother us at all.

Location was excellent with a great bus service outside the door. The Costa Coffee shop attached to the hotel was convenient for early morning coffee in the room. Good value for money

You get what you pay for 🙂 hotel is basic and dated but it was perfect for our stay
