The place open arrival was easy to find and staff was helpful, and the room itself was also clean and well stocked with utilities.

The only “air conditioning” was an extremely dusty fan that seemed to never have been dusted and cleaned. The room labeled air conditioning as one of the utilities so that was very disappointing and my boyfriend caught a cold during our stay which I believe has to do with the dust he ingested while the fan was on. We ended up taking it apart and cleaning it to the best of our abilities, something I don’t want to be doing during my vacation. House keeping also appeared to be extra based on papers pinned in the room so my room was only cleaned once in my 8 day stay and that was only after I requested it.

In a quiet area, some may feel boring, but it felt very safe. Accommodation was spacious, modern and clean Most comfortable bed ever slept in. Great transport links once you found them, five mins walk to 245 bus at top of road goes to Zoo or Friedrichstrausee, where there are links to everywhere, it was so easy, no need to walk to Tiergarten. It was 30 degrees when we were there, there is no AC, but the room was surprisingly cool with the window open. The bar in the hotel next door, which is part of the same set up was very nice and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

No kettle or toaster. As a Brit who likes her tea and toast in the morning, this was disappointing.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel from start to finish! Everything exceeded my expectations – the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Daniella checked me in and she was absolutely lovely – super nice and very helpful, which made me feel instantly welcome. The room was spotless, super comfortable, and much bigger than I expected, especially for a solo traveler. It would be perfect for two people as well. I loved the built-in kitchen, the spacious bathroom, and the handy wardrobe – everything I needed was right there. The location was ideal for exploring the area – not too far from the city center, and the bus station is just about 100 meters away. Despite being well-connected, the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, which I really appreciated after long days out. I genuinely felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout my stay. It’s rare to find a place where everything just clicks with such price, but this hotel absolutely nailed it. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to all my friends and family!

Candlewood shares a building with The NIU like a duplex. The Niu has a lively lobby, and that was where I had to check in, which was not that clear initially. The check-in person was extremely pleasant, but there is no way to get from The Candlewood to the Niu without leaving the building - just a slight inconvenience if you have a lot of luggage or have to go to the bathroom. The hotel seems quite new, and the rooms were well equipped - Kitchenette with a stove top, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment, dishwasher with a tab included, plenty of cutlery and plates, and a good amount of cookware (including a collander for pasta), and a Nespresso machine with 4 pods already there. The bed was comfortable, there was a floor length window, a small table/desk, and a very nicely equipped bathroom with a very roomy no-step shower. They spent money where it counts, and saved where you don't notice or care. Parking on the street was a bit tough to find, and I didn't see whether there was an option at the hotel - but I got in late, and left early. Since I was there with a car, I can't say much to getting around with public transit, but it is still in easy walking distance of core areas of Charlottenburg. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to people when it is well priced.

Since you are doing check-ins at the hotel next door - being clearer on that before you enter the one where the desk isn't manned would be good. Even better would be a doorway between the two so you don't have to go back via the sidewalk and entrance

We stayed here as my family lives near-by, it helped to be close to them. We enjoyed the small kitchenette which was very useful. We found it funny that the dishes didn't really fit in the dishwasher, but we made it work, overall the rooms are comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

There was no air-conditioning in the room and the heating was already working, for people who run warm this was not very comfortable for us, the small window in the room was not enough and considering the area, having the window open was also not ideal. There was also no safe in the room which wasn't a huge problem but you should note.

The appartment was easy reachable with the bus from the main station of Berlin. The appartment was quiet and clean. In de main hall you can also read books and use your Laptop. There was so much to see in and around the neighbourhood of Acora. It was close to Zoological Garten where there was so much to see an to do.

The appartment was a little bit small but it was good enough for two persons. You could only use the laundry with an app on the phone. We were lucky that an other guest could log in and help us. We would appreciate it if there was also a possibility to use coins. We miss a big supermarkt in the emmediate invironment of Acora like an Lidl or an Aldi.

It was my first time staying here and I must say, I was positively surprised. There is a 24/7 reception in the building next door with a very friendly and helpful staff. There's also a fridge there with soft drinks that you can buy and pay for right at the reception. The building itself is nice and modern and the room is as well. Very cozy, nothing was missing in the room. There's a fan in the room which is a nice bonus during the summer. Complementary tea and coffee are a nice touch.

The the apartment was very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was quite convenient, with easy access to public transport and nearby places.

During my stay in Berlin, the weather was hot. Unfortunately, the room only had a fan, which didn’t do much to cool things down, so it felt a bit stuffy at times. I was also a little disappointed that the TV didn’t have any channels and there was no option to connect to Netflix.

Staff was vey friendly and polite. Room was tidy and kneat, really comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with many options to choose from. If you wanted some drinks and snack the small selfservice shop was excellent for it. Train connection to the hotel was good, not a long walk to the station.

Only thing that cimes to mind is that someone staying next to me had some kind of party the first night. Loud electro music was played until midnight. After it stopped, I have no other complaints.

The place matches to the pictures shown in their booking website. The price and quality are affordable. Great location, near public transportation and restaurants. The staff is very responsive and is always available to help. Stephanie accommodated smoothly my stay. She arranged that I could check in early at 01:00p.m. and also to check out one hour later. She supported me as well on the itinerary from Acora hotel to place outside Berlin. So thankful for the service offered and make my stay so memorable.
