I really liked the hotel, very attentive and friendly staff. According to the hotel rules, my check-in to the room is at 15.00, but I was already checked in at 12.00 because I was on the road and wanted to rest. The room is clean and the air conditioning is working. Breakfast is included in the price and is very tasty and varied. I really liked this hotel and will recommend it to my friends. If I'm ever in Berlin again I’ll stay at this hotel.

The hotel has all the facilities needed for a pleasant stay. Our room was modern and design led with bright decor and a comfortable bed, albeit on the small side and a curved shape. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good with a nice selection. There are lots of nice shops, cafes and restaurants within 10 minute walk. Hotel is a 5 minute walk from main HBF Zoological Gardens station which provided fast connectivity with Berlin's central stations and sights on the S-Bahn or main-line trains plus direct connections to Potsdam and and Berlin Airport (c30 minutes).

A cupboard door and toilet seat were loose in our room. We felt that cleaning/vacuuming of the room and landing areas could have been better. The security doors between the lift lobbies and bedroom areas on each floor were often left open during the day which we felt was a risk.

When I travel my priorities are: Clean, comfortable room in a good location. This hotel checked all the boxes. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent and offered many options. Locations is near the zoo metro station. The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood (quiet sleep) with good restaurants. But a 5 minute walk you are at the the zoo metro with a lot of affordable and good food options. The shopping district and the Zoo is a short 10 min walk away from the hotel. All floors have 2 lifts, so going up and down was fast and convenient (we were on the top floor).

The staff were amazing icluding the breakfast/kitchen staff and housekeeping. The hotel has a very inviting vibe, which is enhanced by the very friendly staff. The situation of the hotel is close to the train station, which enables travel all around Berlin easy. I would like to give a mention to Michael and Sona from reception who were amazing with their knowledge and help to myself and my grandaughter, they gave us such a great experience. The staff in the breakfast room were fantastic. The breakfast was exceptional, well presented and so tasty. The chief was a very happy man who engaged so nicely with the guests. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Minor issues: My room felt a bit run-down, with visible signs of wear and some things starting to come apart. It would have been nice to have an electric kettle, as the coffee machine couldn’t provide hot water for tea—and I didn’t like any of the coffee capsules provided. The air conditioning was also quite aggressive, making it uncomfortable to leave on. Overall, I expected more for the price.

Location is very nice as it is just a few minutes walk from Zoo station and also just a few minutes walking distance to the areas of many good restaurants around Saviny Platz/ kant strasse area. When I checked in my booked category of rooms are fully ocupied due to some other guest extended their stay. Front staff was very kind to offer a best available room and allow full free flow mini bar, and from second day automatically move to 6th floor which I originally booked. All these arrangements are well communicated among the staff and very smooth. Surely I will come back next time. Breakfast room is very pleasant and they offered warm breakfast option free like freash fried eggs or omlets. Both of rooms were cozy and pleasant bed and pillows. on top of that ,6th floor room with balcony was very pleasant to cool down in a fresh air.

Excellent hotel. Very friendly staff. We were updated to a superior room and given late check out. Very good buffet breakfast with hot options. Easy walk from Zoo station. Plenty of restaurants and cafes within easy walk and easy walk to the Kurfürstendamm. There are some useful buses also. Only negative our iPhones lost WiFi connection in our room on the 3rd floor, however the IPad seemed fine!

Breakfast is great, extended selection of food and a kitchen for warm and particular orders. The staff is nice and gentle, the location is great, close to the S-Bahn and the Zoo.

The bathroom does not have heating, and it is not possible to lock the door. So, that part of the room is always cold. The daily cleaning is not so great, sometimes they do not vacuum the room, and the trash in the room and bathroom was not taken out until we complained. And then, they only take out the one in the room but not the one in the bathroom. There are stairs at the entrance that do not have a limited access option.

The hotel was very modern, clean and staff were really friendly. The breakfast buffet was nice with an option of ordering hot food. Very close to the underground, zoo and aquarium. We were also able to walk to a lot of places without the need of transport. We loved the coffee machine in the room, plus a lovely shower room.

Nothing wrong with the hotel, just the location being a little rough in certain areas, especially when you walk from the hotel to the underground, but once you’re past that area, the location is beautiful, clean and lots of things to do.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo Ku'damm. We arrived after a flight delay of 7 hours on a rainy Christmas Eve, exhausted and jet lagged. It's a little quirky but clean and comfortable. The room is compact but has everything you need. The bed was super comfortable, the Biology toiletries were good quality and the rain shower was one of the best I've ever experienced. The included breakfast was delicious and varied. We were able to offer some items off the menu such as omelettes and pancakes. The location, whilst seeming a little far from central Berlin was actually perfect for us as the train from the airport connects directly to Berlin Zoological station. From there it is an easy 5 to 10 minute walk. There is a supermarket next to the station which is handy for buying snacks and drinks. The area around can be a little sketchy as there are quite a few homeless people around, but that is a social problem in every major city. We didn't feel unsafe walking around at night. Curry 36 is also close by if you want to try some curry wurst. Finally I want to give a shout out to the staff. Everyone we interacted with was lovely and welcoming. In particular Anna at reception, who has gone above and beyond to assist us with a personal matter, for which we are hugely grateful. Thankyou Hotel Indigo, we look forward to staying with you again sometime.
