One of the many reasons we enjoyed our stay in Berlin ! 1.First of all great stuff- we were welcomed with a big smile and a 2 hour early check-in which was just so great after our 2 flights ! 2. We were celebrating my birthday and our lovely receptionist gave us the key to a big, spacious , clean and very comfortable room. Bed was comfy, all the amenities were good. 3. Great location- just 2-3 mins walk to S-Anhalter Bahnhof, from where it took about 7-8 mins to Branderbirger Tor via S/U-Bahn or about 15 mins walk and also was easy to go back to airport from there as well . There were also supermarkets nearby

We had a fantastic stay here. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome and the hotel's exceptional pet-friendliness. In the room we found a cozy bed for our dog, two bowls with a delicious treat, and a toy to play with. The room itself was spacious and comfortable with TV, fridge etc. The windows faced the inner side of the hotel, but I preferred this to a road. We didn't try the breakfast because we wanted to try something new from the hotel breakfast, as there were many enticing bars and cafes nearby.

Great location for seeing all of Berlin. Close to several U-Bahn stops. Very short walk before you come across either a bar or Café from the hotel. Really nice and helpful friendly staff.

NO AIR-CONDITIONING IN THE ROOMS and in 33*C heat, it's less than ideal. Naturally the hotel had run out of freestanding fans as well because we ALL needed one. Extremely stuffy at night. Wouldn't be an issue in winter of course. The breakfast in a morning is that typical continental breakfast... A lot of nothing that you'd really want. Bit of fruit and the odd croissant, bread that's gone hard and stale and butter that is totally un-spreadable. Always the same going places in Europe though, so I did expect to be devastated with the breakfast selection. As a British person I personally like a proper breakfast i.e. a Full English or certainly something along those lines. Eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, hash browns, tinned tomatoes etc. That sets you up for the day. Not stale bread.

The staff is incredible, super nice and helpful. We were allowed to check in earlier which was AMAZING. due to that my review is going to be glowing because that first shower after a whole night travelling was marvellous. The room was clean and the automatic blinds were a nice touch. just FYI the room won't be cleaned unless you ask for it (which is fine by us, but just to keep that in mind)

The safe was not working, the shower head was turning constantly and the soap dispenser was popping off constantly. The biggest issue which is not the hotel's fault but for others to keep in mind: super loud music from early morning to very late at night from the dancehall by the hotel. It was awful to listen to someone practice Elvis at 2 am in the morning at full sound with pen windows due to the heatwave. The AC also wouldn't turn on, no ice bucket either - all not that big of a deal, but if I am booking a hotel for this price, it is something I pay attention to. It's an older property so, keep that in mind if it's something that would bother you.

The explanation guide to the room safe was unclear and 2 members of staff could not enable it`s use- a third member of staff was quite rude as I sought assistance-he should not reflect on the others, his colleagues who were most helpful. However I had to stay without any safe place as the reception would not give any from of receipt for items I might hand over, so I did without and carried all valuables in person for my several days stay- a bit worrying in any city.

The location is really great - near checkpoint Charlie; although the S-Bahn Green line was closed, the nearest U-Bahn Kochstraße station is still easy to reach. Lidl & some minor liquor store with flexible working hours is also at hand. The smoking cabin in the lobby is of a great convenience if you have a non-smoking room.

I booked a room with 2 separate beds, as I was travelling with a friend and expected some basic privacy; in reality the beds were located extremely close to each other and could not be moved without moving other furniture pieces, as the room was too small.

Fantastic location . Booked well in advance for marathon weekend so reasonable value. Staff were absolutely fab. Very clean. Great facilities. Free coffee in the day was great. We paid for breakfast some days. We were at front where road is noisy and we had window open and was warm in room but this didn’t bother us. Great size room. Well appointed.

Room temp warm side. Spa was closed but we found an amazing one called liquid room nearby which is def worth a visit

- Location. The hotel is just a short walk away from the heart of the city, but is located in a quiet neighborhood. The S-bahn is very closeby. - Staff. Lovely, smiling and helpful staff! - Parking garage. We appreciated the possibility to park right in the building. - Pet friendliness. We were traveling with a dog and got a lovely "pet welcome package" in our room with bowls and a dog bed. - Tea and coffee in the room. - Cleanliness.

- Bed comfort. The bed had a spring mattress, so it was quite jumpy and not really comfortable. The pillow is quite flat so it would've been nice to have double pillows on the bed. - Bit of an outdated feel overall, but it does not matter much!

Great location, spacious rooms, quiet location. Fridge in the room was a nice touch.

Very little to dislike, the only tiny gripe was that there wasn’t much tea/coffee in the room. When I asked for more the reception pointed to the sachets in the breakfast area, so I took a few, but next time I went they were all covered over so I felt uncomfortable taking any more.

The room came with a mini fridge and water kettle, which was really nice. We booked a dog friendly room because we weren't sure if we could find a dogsitter, and there was no additional fee. In the room was a dog blanket with a small toy, water and food bowls, and a little treat in the food bowl. We found a sitter so we didn't bring our dog, but really appreciated the dog amenities.

The beds were quite bouncy and not particularly comfortable.
