The location is perfect, in the very heart of the city. Lots of facilities and museums all around, public transport is accessible. The price was extremely low for such a place and such a hotel. The room was comfy, the staff was very friendly.

The room was not very spacious, the window looked out onto the courtyard and the view was not the best. But, for such a price, this is not a problem. Someone was singing loudly and playing music next to the hotel until almost 3 a.m., and that this might be typical for this area.

Very good location (around the corner from U Bahn (U6) and Checkpoint Charlie) made it very easy to get around - just a few stops from central locations. Hotel was very welcoming (thank you to young man on front desk who recommended us places to visit - certainly added to our visit experience). Very clean (and cleaned every day). Room absolutely fine for stay. There is no air conditioning as previous comments have mentioned, but fans are provided, and these were good for us.

The hotel is close to Checkpoint Charlie, central but still a rather long walk from the central attractions such as the cathedral, museums etc. Berlin is huge but transport connections are good. The room was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent. The staff was more or less friendly but not all reception staff was welcoming. There is the option of not having the room cleaned everyday and you get a free drink.

The wifi does not connect automatically. You have to connect every time. Lufthansa cancelled my flight and I needed to stay at the hotel for an extra night and I was asked to do this online rather than over the counter. This was a hassle for me since I only had my phone with me. It was enough having to deal with flight cancellations. The attitude of a couple of men at the reception could be more guest-friendly. The women were much nicer.

Convenient location, all the basics were included, regular cleaning and comfortable bedding.

You have to manually turn your heating unit on to get some warmth in the room in the freezing hell that is Berlin in December. Since I didn't know that, I had to hold onto the blanket like there was no tomorrow. Next time, I hope, the hotel will turn the heater on before the check-in without relying on a foreigner guessing the correct way.

Location near Checkpoint Charlie. Very nice calm hotel with friendly open minded staff who speaks good english. It was easy to go to hotel from airport by bus+metro. Very nice Vietnamese resturant, Mama Cook, with fantasic food, just around the corner.

We had no cleaning of the room the first three days.

This is a simple, but clean and cozy hotel not far from the center. A perfect place for those who, like us, come to explore the city by feet. The price is very reasonble.

I think some teaspoons, bottle-opener and other things like those would be a simple, yet useful addotion in the rooms.

The room was perfect for me. It was small with exactly what I needed, quiet, and very clean. Frühstück was GREAT! The selection could not have been better, and everything was delicious. Friendly staff, too.

I was not able to get WiFi because I did not fully understand that the W was to be small case not capitalized as it was printed. When I did get into WiFi, it worked.

It’s a very cozy and comfortable rooms, I got a very sighted side of the building. The breakfast is very good. And location is perfect for reaching the main places in the center of the city.

The staff of the hotel let to start noisy work in the hotel courtyard, right where my room window faced. This did not allow me to get enough sleep before a long day, at the end of which I had a business event.

Clean, quiet, just what I needed and the location is near many landmarks to tour at.

Bottled water was expensive, but they provided ice when I asked. They didn’t have AC but they had a fan. It’s wasn’t an issue for me but for my daughter, she perspires a lot.

Hotel is in a convenient location with good transport links and walkable to many attractions. Breakfast is pretty good with a fair choice. There are a limited choice of eateries in the immediate area of the hotel but checkpoint charlie is only a short walk away with a greater choice.
