Location right next to the Berlin HbF, so honestly, reaching anywhere in Berlin was under 20-25 mins. The hotel is big, clean and rooms are aesthetically pleasing and super spacious. The breakfast buffet was good.

The hospitality of the hotel staff was very subpar. For example, the person making omelettes at the breakfast bar clearly did not like his job, was super fussy and aggressive, that too over making omelettes!! Most of the staff seemed least bothered to help you or aid you in anyway which is weird given that you expect good service from a "5 star" hotel. Only people who were actually nice on the whole staffing team would be the one in the conciergerie. Rest of the team, not even close to 5 star service level.

The hotel, food, location and service were excellent as were most of the staff. Would definetley recommend and would stay here again. The night before we arrived we unfortunately needed the services of a wheelchair and the hotel were able to provide one FOC for our arrival and duration of the stay. Impressed with the service.

There was a minor issue when leaving as the staff memebr couldnt find our stored luggage and very mnuch had an attitude of tough luck. Minor rant and as if by magic and a little more digging our luggage was located in the store room where we told him it was.

This hotel is located right next to the main train station in Berlin making access to everywhere so easy. But do not think that because it next to the train station, it is somehow second-rate. The room was clean, modern and well-appointed, with a nice view and a free-standing bathtub. The lobby is quite impressive. Overall a nice hotel.

I booked the modern room with the view and free-standing bathtub (according to the photos on Booking.com). When we were given our room it was not the room according to the photos, but an older unrenovated room. I had to complain and then we were given the correct room. This should not happen.

Wow, where to start regarding the things we loved? The super friendly and welcoming bilingual English and German check-in as my husband is British and I am German by Herr S. Onzo (spelling? Apologies! - I was very impressed how he noted my husband was a bit left out of the check-in conversation and switched it all to faultless English. Very well done!), the sheer size of the room, the view from the room (photo attached), the comfortable bed, the bathroom, the very unexpected room upgrade and the speed, efficiency and politeness with which a tiny issue we had (hand soap in bathroom had run out) was sorted straight away. Oh, we also loved the yummy breakfast which offered a big choice and a view of the Bundestag in the distance. Would thoroughly recommend!

Great location, right beside the main train station. Very good service at reception, rooms nice and clean, and no noise from adjoining rooms or from the corridors (the first hotel we have stayed in where we have not heard any noise outside the room, although the hotel was relatively quiet anyway). Great choice at breakfast, and no queues, but again the hotel was quiet. We did not try the food or drinks in the hotel bar/reception, we had snacks and meals/drinks in the cube building right opposite which has several different types of food offering. Hotel handy for walks along the river and tourist attractions

Shame that the steam room in the spa was not working, we did not use the spa for that reason.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is unbeatable — just steps from the Berlin Hauptbahnhof (main train station), which made arriving and getting around the city incredibly convenient. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, professional, and attentive. Our room was spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable. It's very quiet so we slept well every night. A real highlight of our stay was the breakfast. The buffet offers a wide variety of delicious and fresh options — there's something for everyone. A special mention goes to Herr Touray, whose warm smile and kind words truly made our mornings. His hospitality added a personal touch that we will not forget! We would happily return on a future visit!

Fantastic location, the staff were all really friendly & super helpful, the bed was SO comfy, & the bathroom was great.

the room was REALLY warm, & it seems the only control over the temperature was via the setting for the infloor heating in the bathroom, I had to turn that off, & open the window to let some cooler air in. I've noticed that most northern EU buildings are heated so that in December, it's like JULY inside - but everyone is dressed for Winter! So this isn't so much a complaint about the hotel, but if they could do something about the heat in the bedrooms, that would be great.

The lady at the front desk on Saturday caused some confusion. She had me go and verify my card but when I got there I was told there was no need to do that. Why did she make me do that? She doubted my ability to pay maybe, I don't know. I'm sure she had her reasons.

The location is ideal, in a safe and quiet part of the city. The staff were exceptional, especially the staff in the bar who looked after us incredibly well and made our New Years Eve celebrations very memorable, I can't praise them enough. Hotel is situated right next to Berlin main train station so you have access to above ground and underground metro trains literally on your doorstep. Within a 10 minute walk is the Bundestag and Brandenburg Gate, really handy if you want a quick walk over there at night when the crowds are all gone and you can get great photos.

Lovely bed. Great view with our upgrade. Nice wide desk and 2 decent chairs.

The design of the Tea making area is very dangerous. The top cupboard comes to a sharp corner right at head level and because it's glass you can't see it and i hit my head quite badly. Also door into bathroom awkward and easy to walk into. And there was only a shower in the bath and the bath was quite high so it was extremely difficult to get out. Why do you only ever give two English breakfast tea bags and two milk. It is frustrating having to ask for more.
