We came to Rothenburg for Christmas markets. We decided to stay a little outside of all the madness and were happy we chose the Craintaler. Very quiet and a lovely drive. The place was spacious, clean, had the floor heating. Awesome big bathroom and a huge shower. The kitchen was well stocked. Loved the rustic feel about the place. Free parking on site. The wi-fi worked well. We loved the place and would come back again if the opportunity calls for.

The stay was too short.

Beautiful and spacious apartment, very quiet and beautiful area. All of the fixtures and fittings were of a good standard and there was plenty of space for a family of 4 to relax. Some of the photographs on booking.com don't do the place justice. It really was beautiful

Some of the cupboards were a little bit messy. There were instruction booklets for the oven and dishwasher etc, rather than being stored in a tidy manner they were just lying in a cupboard. It's a tiny little thing but it's the only thing to fault.

Property was on the Romantische Strasse, a pretty road that ran through the village. The house was very comfortably furnished, clean and well equipped and we were very grateful for the wine,beer,milk etc!! Great to have mosquito blinds on the windows so we could get some fresh air at night.

There was rather a lot of traffic particularly motorbikes and lorries, this made it rather noisy.We would have much preferred the other properties on the opposite side of the road which were in a quieter location and had lovely surroundings. Would have been nice to have had a pack of cards or something.

Location was very nice, nice surroundings, nice inside decoration. Very close to nature

Air conditioning could be a bonus, the temperature was ar the limit of discomfort in august. However, i will still chose this property next time

The location was close enough to the city for convenience, but we loved the rural setting. We walked along the river road to the fabulous Italian restaurant. The location was quiet and beautiful!

Absolutely beautiful setting beside the river. Lovely gardens and shaded patios with tables and chairs. The staff were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Large room and comfortable bed. Cold drinks available from the bar downstairs. Plenty of parking available. Good location for visiting Rothenberg.

Maybe some shutters or thicker curtains to block the heat of the afternoon sun.

Excellent service and outstanding apartment! We were welcomed with beverages and also some items in the fridge. Would recommend anyone to stay here!

Very nice rebuild of an old barn. It was very spacious, clean and very cosy.
