We were thankful to receive rooms near one another as my elderly mother in law was traveling with us. The rooms were comfortable and reasonably priced. We love this town and it was our 3rd visit in less than 2 years. The walkability of the location of the hotel to the town is very nice. It's in a quiet location.

The bathroom is a bit smelly & humid but we can understand due to the small space. We were surprised with how loud the restaurant people were when they were cleaning their pots & pans at 23:00 just outside our window. We were hoping to get to sleep sooner but they were pretty loud with their talking and the clanging of the pans. Our rooms did not resemble the pictures on the website. I think we were in the older part of the building. That said, we got a really good rate and pretty much only slept there. So it's good to ask what part of the building you'd be in.

Dear Marko and Co. Thank you so much for the best days ever in your hotel and Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The stay started with the best greting you can ever get. Marko standing in the rain with umbrellos and helping us unloading the car. And after that finding a parking spot. Helping us to the room and giving us recomedation, to restaurants and things to see. A friendly gesture with a great meaning and a Big help for us. The kindness, humor and service, made our stay so much better. The autentic room was the cleanest room i have ever seen. The finest breakfast was made personal, you rembering our names and with the great varity off food anyone would be happy to start the day at your place. It felt like we visited family and you made us feel at home. Keep up the good work and you Will see people again and get good revievs.

Room was basic, clean, comfortable and quiet(!). Two modern windows brought in natural light and provided a decent view. Bedding was fresh and comfy. Once located, the hotel is close and convenient to the center and all locations. Once located, staff was personable, helpful and down-to-earth. Glassware and bottled water provided, electric kettle on request. Reasonably-priced one-of private parking.

Front door locked and unresponsive during regular business hours. No option if you don't have a cellphone. Poor combination of light fixtures, too bright or too small, misplaced, out of order. Hotel hard to find... not the hotel's fault, the town is a historical kaleidoscope of street snippets changing names--part of the charm--but much clearer directions could be included online. Lame, outdated chair too low to use at cabinet surfaces as a desk/ work station. Adequate but lame shower design. Missing window curtain. Worrisome first impression of pervasive, pungent, unfamiliar middle east restaurant odors in the hallway--happily absent in the room.

The host service was amazing. The location was also perfect for the Christmas markets. The breakfast and dinner services were also great. They were very accommodating for our dog.

The only thing to upgrade are the beds. I would suggest they invest in mattress toppers for the beds and offer more pillows per room. We were comfortable but a little can go a long way.

Wonderful gasthaus! Easy 5 min walk to P5 parking lot, and a 3 min walk to the central market area. Quiet at night and in the mornings, where you are awoken by the many churches' bells, and a delightful Indian food restaurant! Room was simple, with toilet and shower room, with sink in the bedroom area (very typical old Europe). Close to one of the gates where you can walk around the ancient city wall. Also close to the spielplatz at the base of the Punishment tower.

We liked everything, but be aware there is no AC, no elevator/lift, and no on-site parking. The staff were extremely friendly and kind to my daughter and I. We would love to go back and stay longer!

This hotel is in a great position near the centre of this beautiful town, and yet 5 mins walk (and what a lovely walk!) from the carpark which is outside the town walls. The room was as others reflect, perfectly adequate and the staff very gracious. The Indian restaurant is a must, it's the best Indian cooking I've had in a long time, the food was fragrant, not heavy with oil. The vegetable thali for two includes 6 different dishes - strongly recommended.

I'm not sure if they routinely provide kettle /tea making facilities, but they said would provide one if asked.

I had a truly pleasant stay. The room was clean, cozy, and peaceful. The owner was exceptionally kind and accommodating, going out of his way to help me change my booking dates and refund the amount. I would definitely choose this place again and recommend it to others without hesitation.

Lovely room above an Indian restaurant. Excellent room and small but functional bathroom, good water pressure. We ate at the restaurant the evening of our stay and the food was excellent. Comfortable and an amazing price point for the location. Amazing location too, right in the heart of the old town. Lovely smily helpful staff.

Not down to the staff, but the layout is a bit awkward and getting cases up to the room (help was offered!) was tricky. Corridors a bit redolent of the food from the restaurant. These are tiny negatives and considering the cost this is super value and a really lovely stay (but worth knowing about if either would bother you).

Located in the old town, close to all main attractions in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Staff were very hospitable and host offered us a drink of welcome, which was very nice gesture. Room is small, but it has everything you need. Wi-fi works well.
