Very close to the station and not too far from the main sights. The room was compact but comfortable. We were up high with a good view from a full length window. I liked the comfortable chairs and table. Breakfast was excellent - a very wide range including both hot and cold options.

A bit noisy as we were near tram tracks and a road, but nothing too bad. The bathroom was 'in' the room with a curtain that you pulled round - a bit unusual.

Everything is dusty, tables, mirrors - cleaning should be better

• Great location near the main train station, allowing us to walk directly to the old town and numerous shops. • Enjoyed a good view from the room’s large window.

• The housekeeper did not provide new towels for us during the entire 4 nights of our stay. We placed the used towels on the floor, hoping for replacements. However, the housekeeper hung them back on the hanger. Unbelievable! • The breakfast buffet room was so crowed from 7am to 10am.

I really liked this hotel in Dresden, one of the best hotel's I've stayed in and encountered. I understand it changed its brand from the Pullman to the Occidental, I don't think the change made no difference to the quality and ambiance this hotel showed. It is well maintained throughout, the arrival experience was superb even though I arrived just after midnight, the night managers were still very accommodating. The room was in a quality condition, and situated on level 13, which gave a awesome view of Dresden, the city centre and parts of the old town. The room came with complementary water which I think is a lovely gesture, and bath robes. The cleanliness was a perfection throughout the hotel and the room. The bar at the hotel was lovely to relax in and offered local German beers, the ambience was great and you can easily relax, it never got too busy either, you can also dine within the bar too. They provided an ok breakfast in the morning, a buffet concept with hot and cold options, and the choice was more than adequate. All the staff I encountered at this hotel were very professional and welcoming.

The only slight issue I found out was that the menu , Im not sure if it was a main menu, or bar menu, but I found it within the restaurant area, that it was all in German, with no English accompanying / or added/ description on the menu. My German is mediocre , I'm not fluent , but it may cause some issues for guests who don't know any German at all.

The junior suite is big and beautiful! The swing near the window provides a terrific view of the entire Prager strasse! The breakfast is excellent. The location is terrific, next to shopping malls etc, but is 1 km away from the actual old town. That's really not an issue though. The hotel is modern and very well kept

Nothing in particular. One suggestion: The bathroom door is made of glass. So when the lights are turned on in the night, it disturbs the other partner sleeping. Maybe a softer light should be provided....or the glass door should be replaced with something more opaque

What we liked about the hotel was for sure the location, which turned out to be closer to the train station than we expected. We enjoyed the view from the top floor, spacious room, presence of fridge, comfy bed, and functional bathroom with big sink, good makeup mirror&light, and big, uncommon shower in the middle of the room. What’s more the 24/7 reception was an advantage. Additional thing I liked for sure was the Geburtstagsüberraschung (in form of a piece of cake and a letter) I received from the hotel, as I had my birthday during the stay.

What we did not like were the signs of negligence and omission in terms of cleaning the room. In our case there were no garbage bags (maybe that’s the hotel’s policy but for that reason the garbage cans had a visible layer of dirt on the inside part), and very sticky and unpleasant to use hairdryer.

Practically everything was great. Super nice hotel, staff very helpful and all very friendly to us. Storage of luggage before check in and on the day of our departure was no problem. Lovely room with a great view.

Only one thing, why I gave it 9 stars and not the otherwise deserved 10 stars: There is no tea or coffee in the room, not even must the kettle to make your own cup for your own tea bags. For British visitors, this is not acceptable. On my visit last year, when it still was a Pullman hotel, it was all there. Even with cookies.

14 floor chain hotel, so a little corporate and soulless. Shower location a little odd. Window is full height and width of the room - a bit startling at first but actually really good. Kettle and Nespresso machine and a fridge.. our view was looking up Pragerstrasse. Pragerstrasse was bouncing on Friday and Saturday - live music, outdoor bars and a huge choice of street food. Don't know if it's like that every weekend or if we were lucky. Hotel staff very professional and extremely helpful.

Access and egress via main door is often Compromised by guests smoking. An area for smoking away from the main door would be a big improvement.

Good location, close to train stations and not far from the old town （15-20minutes) . Beautiful city to just walk a round. Room itself , the furniture and bathroom you can see the ages of it and needs a renovation sooner or later, but still spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is of good quality selection and you can have fresh made fried eggs. Coffee on the table already when you walked in that is very nice.

Need some renovation soon.

Room cleaning staff no deodorant. the hallway to the rooms was unpleasant smell during the service. Another incident: The barman I fell on (my luck) did not do the effort to answer our question for what kind of schnaps they had. told his helper to tell us to search the menu....and told us it was the last round , although at least 12 people were served drinks after us... we felt very unwelcome there:(
