It was a very nice hotel, wonderful food and friendly staff.

Charging of your electrical car. You have to register yourself first. It's not working with a normal charging card and afterwards you have to pay for a parking place for the when you are not using the accesspoint for loading. The places were many times occupied with cars who were not loading and they do not have to pay for the parking place.

- Lack of drinks menu with prices - Somewhat confusing setup with buffet dinner one night and dining menu another night - would have preferred to be given the choice and be informed upon checkin

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The facilities are top-notch, offering a range of amenities that cater to a variety of interests and preferences. One of the highlights is the indoor pool and sauna, which provide a perfect way to relax. For those who enjoy water activities, the hotel offers a wide range of boats, from paddleboards to different types of boats. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding facilities, delicious food, and prime location. It truly offers a memorable stay.

unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. The room I was given was described as having an "internal garden view," but in reality, it was situated directly in front of the hotel’s warehouse, resulting in constant noise, especially in the morning. This significantly impacted my comfort and overall stay. Given the price paid, I anticipated a higher quality experience. I would recommend addressing these issues to improve the guest experience in the future.

Excellent breakfast and dinner-it feels like a luxurious restaurant. Free Kayak to use and access to a private beach. Location is next to the Zugspitzebahn. The hotel has its own parking lot so you don't need to worry about no parking. I enjoyed a free boat trip.

No air condition. Due to climate change, it will be hotter every year in summer. My room was overlooking the lake but it was basically looking at the lake through a roof with some moss/grass growing to cover it. This should be disclosed or shown in photos.

The view from our room was marvelous. The room was big, clean, equipped with everything. Good breakfast and dessert. Appreciated the snacks served between breakfast and dinner. Plenty of alcoholic drinks to choose from, good cocktails. I appreciated the private sundeck with sunbeds and that the SUPs and canoes were for free, as well as life vests and paddles. The self service bar was a nice touch too. Even though we discovered it on our own, since no one actually told us about it. Even if I did not use the service, I think it's cool they provide bikes for rental. I appreciated we received the Grainau Card, even if we didn't really use it. But a cute gesture. Parking with a lot of spaces, only for hotel guests.

I did not like the dinner sides. They looked very well, but were tasteless. I did not like that we were not given basic hotel info at checkin like the location of the restaurant and directions to the sundeck. There are no signs pointing to a certain direction either. They very kindly gave us all the information when we later asked, but I think it's normal to be told at checkin time. Extreme waiting time to enter the parking because of the car queue at the Zugspitze parking. (over an hour)

The location was perfect, so beautiful pictures don't do it justice. It was great having access to the spa and SUP, canoes. The room was great, the staff was friendly. You are steps away from amazing trails. 3/4 board was great (includes many activities, breakfast, afternoon lunch from 2-4pm and supper. I thought the hotel was fairly priced.

There is no AC. We were there during a heat wave, the room was still enjoyable albeit a bit warm at night.

This was our third stay here and it again exceeded our expectations! The food, pool and spa facilities are amazing and the views are breathtaking. The kids outdoor play area and indoor kids club were perfect even in less than ideal weather. Even though it rained the entire time we were there we still had an awesome hike around the lake, got to sneak in a ride up to Zugspitze when it was clear, had cozy meals and an incredibly relaxing stay. The staff is also superb and what makes this place that much more enjoyable.

Everything was perfect....the location, the room, its view, the breakfast, the dinner, the friendly staff - no complaints whatsoever.

The price paid for an overnight stay in low season was very high. In fact, the rate in April appears to be the same as charged during the peak season weeks of July & August, which I find very strange indeed. I would definitely stay more often if the price were more reasonable and judging by the scarcity of guests during the time I was there, I would suggest that some trial be given to substantially lowering the off-season rates in an effort to attract more guests. That being said, the lack of visitors made for a most peaceful and pleasant stay.

Location is unbeatable! Simply stunning. Definitely go up the cable car. Lake is beautiful and hotel has SUP, kayak and canoes to use. Plenty of sun loungers. Indoor swimming pool and spa area really nice. Lovely robe, beach towel and slippers provided. Very nice food in the restaurant.

Lots of little annoying things like not being able to get into the car park until you’ve checked in (but nowhere to put car), no glasses for the water in the spa area, outside beach area being tidied away very early like staff want you to move so no chance to watch sunset, no explanation given in restaurant as to the fact it was a buffet (we were just left to guess - another guest explained to us where the best food was), no drinks menu or wine list provided at dinner, restaurant kitchen staff seemed impatient and waiting to finish. The paddle boards (SUP) were poorly maintained and very under inflated and therefore not safe. I explained to a staff member they needed more inflation but the staff did not seem to care and it was the same the next day.
