Great location, good amenities. The breakfast was lovely and you can sit in the covered balcony with the views of the neuschwanstein castle whilst you enjoy it! The staff were lovely and the restaurant was cosy and quaint, the wait staff super friendly, and the food was yummy! We had a lovely room with a cute balcony overlooking the forest and the for hours autumn colours! We loved learning about the property’s history and local relevance

Decoration is a bit dated and random throughout the property - could use an update. No notepads or pens in the room and bathroom products were limited (only shower gel/hand soap). Half the tv channels didn’t work

It is a beautiful location and a very nice hotel. You can get to both castles easily. The breakfast was plentiful, delicious, and included in the price.

The tub/shower is poorly designed. The tub is very high to step over. The spigot for the tub is on the side of the tub which makes it difficult to take a shower without accidentally bumping your leg on it. I bruised my leg, and unintentionally adjusted the water temperature and plugged the drain all while showering. It is also impossible to not get the floor wet. The pump for the soap by the sink was also difficult to access.

Really nice hotel with extremely helpful staff. I had forgotten to take an adapter plug and 'Ted' on reception was very helpful and let us take one from a box where they kept those that other customers had left behind. Food was really good and Matthew the waiter was very nice and chatty with us. Really pleasant and helpful with the menu and drinks. Breakfast was also good with two more nice staff whose names we didn't ask. The view from our window overlooked the street but it wasn't noisy at all so no disturbances. Although we couldn't see the castle from our window, we still had a lovely view of the snowy mountains ☺

The location is perfect for the Castle. Breakfast was wonderful. Room with a balcony was lovely. Room decoration was in keeping the with area. Really great.

Limited parking spaces, so get there early. Dinner (evening meal) closes early compared to some European places. We arrived at 20.10hrs and couldn't get an evening meal. So had to go to the local town. Brought some food back and ate it on the balcony and it was a lovely experience.

Great location, great room with so magnificent view to mounts and access to roof-balcony (which is shared with some other rooms). In room we could find some bottles of water, coffee machine etc. I would like to mentioned the great hotel stuff! My wife had a birthday. Before the arriving I kindly asked the hotel to prepare small gift to my wife (flowers in rooms with card and small cookies). This was organized without any problems flowers were so nice!

I would like to see more variants for breakfast. Also it would be great if rooms have small fridges.

Attractive older historic hotel, right in the center of town. Location and parking was our number one criterion: this hotel is the most central. There is free parking at the hotel, and the location is next to the ticket office and the paths to both of the two castles. The rooms are large and with comfortable beds. Everything is in perfect shape, clean, no issues. Excellent breakfast, with a range of both hot and cold food in large quantities, all served personally to the table. Any extra was helpfully packed to take away. Dinner is the restaurant was acceptable though not outstanding. We visited off season, so most of the town was shut down, I presume the town is a lot more crowded everywhere in the summer. Still would stronly recommend the hotel. Hotel management is sometimes able to help with tickets even when online it’s not possible.

Our recent stay at the hotel was good. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and excellent service. The hotel's proximity to the Neuschwanstein Castle is suitable – it's just a short car ride. Our room was clean and comfortable. Keep in mind that there some repair works outside. The staff was incredibly helpful in providing local tips and arranging tickets for our visit to the castle. We had a delightful dining experience at the hotel's restaurant, too. If you're looking for a wonderful stay near Neuschwanstein, this hotel is a good choice.

Super location in the foothills of neuschwanstein castle with the lake nearby. Very helpful and considerate staff on the desk and in the restaurant. Luca on the desk and a lady in the restaurant who’s name I didn’t get! Breakfast good and clean. Pine panelling and carving within gave it a great atmosphere. Perhaps busy during the season and so I was pleased to go when a little quieter

Not a dislike as such but the hotel has many cabinets of Swarovski Crystal etc. a lovely place to walk and be at peace with the stunning surroundings and buying bits wasn’t at the forefront of the mind!

This place is a hidden gem! It is very peaceful and quiet, especially in the evenings and mornings when there are not many tourists around. Breakfast with the Neuschwastein Castle view, free parking lot for hotel guest, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. You can get to the castle early in the morning to avoid the crowds which arrives around 9.00 am. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Had an amazing room that opened onto a large terrace which had a perfect view of Neuschwanstein - absolutely amazing and made the trip! We were budget travelers backpacking so we couldn’t spend too much money on a place but hotel mueller was still incredible - super clean and great facilities. The free buffet breakfast was delicious and the staff always went above and beyond and were very kind. Would 100% recommend for a stay in Neuschwanstein.
