Excellent hotel, parking right by the hotel, a real bonus. Very welcoming staff. Superb room as had separate lounge area with sofa and chairs, you could sit on the sofa with the balcony door open with a view of the castle. Room also had two bathrooms, really good. Breakfast was fine. Overall the location is right where you want to be, the horse carriages to the castle right outside, and 10m to the bus shuttle. All with the benefit of free parking. Tip - take the bus up the hill as you then walk DOWN to the castle, then walk down afterwards. Don’t attempt the walk up to the castle unless you’re super fit and it’s not hot or raining.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Muller. It is perfect location, the staff was friendly, and the rooms and beds were comfortable. We had two rooms that faced the street. We were first concerned with the noise but the staff said after the buses left and the tourists were out, it would be quiet and it was! We had a balcony and we enjoyed sitting outside listening to the wind and rain that night. The breakfast was great -- it even had made to order waffles/pancakes but we didn't have any. We ate dinner at the hotel and it was good. The location is wonderful - right near the bus stop to go up to the castle. It had an elevator - which is important to us since we have some mobility issues. There were no refrigerators in the rooms but the staff let us keep our food in the refrigerators in their kitchen. Also, they have a parking lot with a camera(cannot remember if paid or not) but it was great to not deal with parking and have "eyes" on it as we put in our suitcases in the car before we took the tour of the castle.

There isn't a refrigerator in the room but they accommodated.

This hotel was outstanding! From our first contact with them, I was so very impressed with the staff. They called to check on us as we were arriving late and they were worried we weren't going to be able to get dinner because the restaurants in town were closing. It was so thoughtful of them. It was a gorgeous place to stay. Our room had a little balcony that looked out on Hohenschwangau Castle. It was beautiful! The rooms are obviously well cared for and very clean. Also, we had breakfast included. It was so convenient that it started at 7 am so that we could make our 9 am tour. The hotel staff also let us leave our car parked there. So nice of them. Loved staying here!

Great location, good amenities. The breakfast was lovely and you can sit in the covered balcony with the views of the neuschwanstein castle whilst you enjoy it! The staff were lovely and the restaurant was cosy and quaint, the wait staff super friendly, and the food was yummy! We had a lovely room with a cute balcony overlooking the forest and the for hours autumn colours! We loved learning about the property’s history and local relevance

Decoration is a bit dated and random throughout the property - could use an update. No notepads or pens in the room and bathroom products were limited (only shower gel/hand soap). Half the tv channels didn’t work

Location with direct access to the castle was key for us. The hotel arranged tickets which was ❤️❤️ Inhouse restaurant was nice while portions are really lawish for us, could be halved. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful all the way. Onsite parking was very good.

The only substantial distress was a very poor noice isolation between rooms and especially through the bathroom. You literally hear each drop of water accross 2-3 floors. So prepare the earplugs.

Very nice and large room right under the Castle. Very good bistro and restaurant. Simple but quality breakfast in the restaurant with Castle views. Park at the front door and welcome to remain parked until 2pm. The village is very quiet 6pm thru to about 08:30am. Excellent dining options in the village or drive close by to many other choices. The quality of the room and breakfast with Castle view along with car parking included, make this a very nice, well valued stay.

It is a beautiful location and a very nice hotel. You can get to both castles easily. The breakfast was plentiful, delicious, and included in the price.

The tub/shower is poorly designed. The tub is very high to step over. The spigot for the tub is on the side of the tub which makes it difficult to take a shower without accidentally bumping your leg on it. I bruised my leg, and unintentionally adjusted the water temperature and plugged the drain all while showering. It is also impossible to not get the floor wet. The pump for the soap by the sink was also difficult to access.

Really nice hotel with extremely helpful staff. I had forgotten to take an adapter plug and 'Ted' on reception was very helpful and let us take one from a box where they kept those that other customers had left behind. Food was really good and Matthew the waiter was very nice and chatty with us. Really pleasant and helpful with the menu and drinks. Breakfast was also good with two more nice staff whose names we didn't ask. The view from our window overlooked the street but it wasn't noisy at all so no disturbances. Although we couldn't see the castle from our window, we still had a lovely view of the snowy mountains ☺

The location is perfect for the Castle. Breakfast was wonderful. Room with a balcony was lovely. Room decoration was in keeping the with area. Really great.

Limited parking spaces, so get there early. Dinner (evening meal) closes early compared to some European places. We arrived at 20.10hrs and couldn't get an evening meal. So had to go to the local town. Brought some food back and ate it on the balcony and it was a lovely experience.

A perfect location for visiting the castles. It is a lovely building though a little dated inside and has an odd layout of shops and dining areas. The room was small but functional. Meals including breakfast were excellent with great service. Short walk to lovely lake.

It is very busy during the day but nice and quiet in the evening- be aware that bars and restaurants are shut by 9pm.
