Really nice stay. Room very well soundproofed so peaceful and calm even during football outside (we were in Hamburg during the Euros, but not for the Euros. The fanzone is right across the road but it still didn't cause us any bother). Breakfast was tasty, lovely tea selection, good cereals, some nice cooked options. I liked the sausages. Staff were outstanding, always nice, always helpful and always cheerful. Bed was really nice, bathroom spacious and shower - could have stayed in the shower for hours!! I loved the garden area to the back with birdsong and green.

An in-house restaurant for dinner would have been great, and perhaps more beers on tap in the bar. Minor points: Might have been nice to have some firmer pillows in the selection. And maybe some back bacon at breakfast as well as the really crunchy stuff. Maybe individual yoghurts in different flavours?

Staff were super friendly, professional and attentive with excellent language skills! The breakfast buffet was wonderful, with a huge selection of healthy & vegan options which was very welcome surprise. There is no restaurant for evening meals, but there is a vast selection of restaurants locally (mostly cash-only), and the staff seemed used to Uber-eats deliveries arriving at reception. I was also impressed with the sustainability efforts & incentives.

the bedding seemed to be a little cheap. It would be nice to have something with more cotton content, for breathability.

This is a very good hotel, I definitely recommend it. Was here multiple times. Everything is nice: the furniture (including the bed), the fridge/minibar, the bathroom. Air conditioning system was also good, allowing us to make it warmer. What did I especially like this time: upon our request, we were given an additional blanket and a pair of slippers, for free.

When we arrived we were asked to pay using the bank card or at least to have the full price for the room blocked on the card, even though we initially wanted to pay in cash. Only after some talking did we convince the person at the counter to just accept the cash. The person at the reception desk was unwilling to accept a 500-euro banknote. The electronic keys from the room were breaking periodically, that happened several times.

Great family rooms, can accomodate 4 with the pull-out couch. Basically the rooms are suites, very large and Nespresso machine present as well. Very nice breakfast and the location of the hotel was ideal for exploring the (inner)city with a subway station at a 5 minute walk. eScooters are also widely available through various providers literally around the corner. Private parking available including 6x 11kW chargers.

Fantastic, helpful staff. Made it a lovely visit for my husband and I, celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary! Able to answer our questions, give suggestions for eating places, let us borrow an umbrella, etc. Really easy access walking and to trains (both local and regional). Fun visiting the DON over the road but nice and quiet/ peaceful at night for sleeping. Fantastic stay and would highly recommend.

Wish the air con was a little colder as it was a very hot and humid few days in Hamburg!

The staff were very friendly accommodating and provided us with a baby cot which was lovely. The breakfast was exceptional! It was also nice to have access to steam room and sauna. The bed was very comfortable.

The kitchen area in the suite could have been a bit better equipped (maybe a bin, maybe a small fridge, more plates would help). The main issue, however, was that we booked a room with parking included but it was disappointing to find out that our car didn't fit the height limits they have (1.9m). We specifically chose this hotel for the parking so I wish the limit was better advertised.

The staff was exceptional friendly and really tried everything to make our stay the best possible. We never heard a ‘no’ or ‘not possible’, super professional and welcoming.

Sadly the AC did not meet our expectations and didn’t cool as much as we would’ve like. But the staff gave us some additional fans which helped a lot! The breakfast could see a bit of variation over the days. Which does not mean that the quality left room improvement, just when one is there for a few days, one wishes for a bit more variety from day to day.

The suite I stayed in was very spacious. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was the right thickness. There was also an extremely comfortable couch. Shower and bath was a nice bonus and the room was clean and well turned out. Breakfast options were generally good. Particular shout out for a great staff member Jan, who was on duty when I checked in and served me some drinks in the bar - very friendly interactions during my stay.

The television did not have connectivity options, for example, to watch YouTube. All available channels were in local language except some news channels in English and French.

The room was very spacious and it was kept very clean. One of the best showers we have ever used! Lots of lovely towels and bath robes. Staff very friendly. Plenty of space at breakfast in a nice well-lit room. Good choice.

The location was a little bit on the edge of the centre of town in what I suppose was an up-and-coming area but we had no problems and we used the very excellent public transport connections all the time.

Location was fantastic as we were going to a gig in the bunker over the road. The room rate itself was good value for money and the hotel was clean and comfortable.

I had called and requested an early check in which they said they would accommodate but on arrival this was only available at a cost of 60 euros. This was 70% of the actual room rate. Would catch a later flight next time!!
