The location in a very cool neighborhood is perfect - tons of bars, restaurants, shops in walking distance. The building is spectacular and offer amazing views.very friendly staff.

The Restaurant! breakfast is good, but at night the space turns into a kind of an upscale joint called La sala - and what a wasted opportunity that is! This location screams for a creative, brave, fresh concept. But this place is a failure from the furniture that looks like it’s taken from a Hungarian highway cantine all the way to the astonishingly uninspired menu that lingers somewhere between Spanish, Portuguese and Caribbean but picks the least interesting from everywhere. My ceviche was easily the worst ceviche ever made. Some boiled pieces of indistinguishable fish swimming an a sweet sauce that tasted like water from a pineapple can. Not even the gentle, friendly and funny waiter could save the moment. Clear the space out and start from scratch!

I had a really great time there, it's not a hotel for a typical tourist, but for one who likes unusual places in the city. and this is where something is missing: a unique design deserves a cool brand identification. currently lacking recognition. in fact, if you don't know what brand the hotel is, you won't figure it out. missing details - cool carpeting, paintings, interesting design, for example, room cards. also missing entrance marking - a bit difficult to find from the street. Would be lovely if the rooms had some closets, there is enough space for it.

Really brilliant concept, literally staying in a piece of history. The room was incredibly comfortable, with fantastic views over the city - I'd recommend our room, 215, as it didn't have the walkway outside. When we went up to the roof we could look into some bedrooms which would have been a bit strange to be staying in! The staff were great, the bar and the cafe very reasonably priced. The location is a bit unnerving at first look, but we were walking around at all hours and felt totally safe.

There was a thumping music gig on the other side of the shared corridor wall on the Friday night - we were not informed in any way that the hotel has a music venue literally inside its walls. The soundproofing in the bedroom was pretty impressive, but you could distantly hear the base music until midnight.

The hotel is situated on top of the bunker which makes this a very unique experience and makes it a worthwhile location to stay. The hotel itself lacks character and that's also because there is no real lobby / cool area that connects it all. Yes, the rooms are nice and the restaurants/bars that are up on the structure are also good, but it's all a bit disconnected (understandably given the way it's all build) and therefore impersonal. It is even noticeable in the hotel staff. They are nice enough, but it's not at all on par with how cool the vibe of this place could actually be. And just playing some cool tunes in the hallways, doesn't compensate for the lack of character. But be mindful of this if you are looking for a wholesome cosy hotel experience, especially given the rates. It acts more like a motel (you go in and out anonymously at your leisure). There are no parking spaces at the hotel (or hardly) and the hotel website didn't provide any clear instructions on alternatives. But the hotel overlooks a very large carpark that is next to the football stadium and you can park right there for a very friendly daily rate, rather than parking at the expensive parking garages nearby. Overall, a cool experience given the location/situation and the fun neighbourhood. And especially as we were also visiting the on premises concert hall for one of the nights too.

I fully understand and accept that linen and towels are not changed daily anymore, but given the room rates, I would at least expect the rooms to be tidied throughout the day. There is a room where you can get the amenities from yourself, but that all adds to the rather impersonal character of the hotel.

Incredible location on top of a WW2 bunker. The views are spectacular, especially because the building has been turned into an urban park. I liked the breakfast and the friendly staff. The hotel is surrounded by lively areas with hundreds of restaurants, bars and shops. A subway station is right next door as is the fun fair and St Pauli football stadium. It's a very unique experience

Accommodation was located on top of a national historical moment dating back to WWII. Amazing views of the city of Hamburg. Central to the city centre and everything within walking distance to shops, locations and public transport. Definitely glad we booked our stay here!

What a unique place to stay! The room with lots of love to detail and the view simply amazing! The breakfast buffet was huge and offered a yummy variety of food…rounded off by the perfect coffee. Lots of wonderful individual shops around and in the very cool setting.

there is no parking and they have no agreement with a lot in the area for affordable customer parking, it is practically impossible to park on the street and if you find a spot it is expensive the AC needs work: you cannot switch the noise off

Expected a lot of the view, but plants before the room take away the view. Why not cut the plants at some points in front of the window so the view is better...
