This hotel is located in a very busy area on a main road which is not apparent on the map view. The room we were allocated was looking over Reeperbahn, though the room was quiet as the windows are triple glazed so you dont hear the the passing traffic and people passing, which happens all night into the early hours. Transport facilities are very close, buses and metro stops within a few meters. There is a huge number of places on Reeperbahn to eat provided you accept takeaway type food. In fact under the hotel is a donor takeaway. The room was clean and tidy though a little small and dated, The bed was comfortable, so this hotel is good for short stays. Breakfast was included in the price and was reasonable.

Since it was within easy walking distance to the Landungsbrücken, this was an excellent location for our visit to the musical König der Löwe. In addition the bus and U-Bahn stop is just around the corner. The room was small, but adequate and clean. Breakfast had a lot of variety. The staff was very friendly, and also patient with us. (We thought the room had been paid and just left, but we got it straightened out.)

I'm sure in the summer it would be loud with the windows open. My husband has to eat gluten free, and there was no bread or rolls for breakfast, but there were enough other things he could eat.

There was great expectation about breakfast, since it was included and very well spoken on the commentaries. Indeed, it is an amazing breakfast, with several possibilities ahead and great coffee. The room was confortable and a nice bathroom. The service and the staff were very helpful, including to change room due to an issue with my first room. Quiet and clean. The average price of hotels in Hamburg are not that reasonable, so I would say that in the Imperial, the price was fair, but also because of the breakfast. Nonetheless, very good experience. The location depends on what to do in Hamburg. The area is really nice and near the Elba river, with the Old Tunnel. The Altstadt stays a few metro stations from there.

Very happy with the stay at this great hotel. Attentive and helpful staff, room a little basic but very comfortable, breakfast exceptional. Also a nice bar and lounge with free coffee available. This was one of the cheapest single occupancy rooms in the area, and its a great location close to Reeperbahn and St Pauli metro stations. Hope to return.

Clean, properly sized - perfectly adequate. Breakfast was really nice, ample options to choose from. Everyone in the reception was so nice and well behaved. Rooms were well lit. Toilet was big enough with rightly designed facilities, was dry throughout all kinds of usage. I’m new to Europe, hence such warm level of centralized heating was uncomfortable at first, I couldn’t figure out any way to regulate so I had to keep windows open instead.

The rooms with double bed feels a bit cramped when table is being used. It’s just the bed should rather go to corner, I know people have habit of getting off through the sides, but person on wall side can in fact slight down, doesn’t take too much to get used to - but the room and table area will get so much space to walk around.

Location good for transport, visiting Dom Bunker etc. At end of Reeprbahn so quieter. Value for money stay with good breakfast. Like a 1970s sitcom room, but clean and pleasant staff.

Certain areas get approached by women too often. If up early see extent of rubbish left by visitors in evening and need for daily clean ups and hozing down of streets.

Beds were perfect. Very comfy. It was quiet and clean. 24/7 receptionist so we could leave our keys with them while partying. Luggage storage was also no problem after checking out although you just put them in the lounge where every guest has access but its video monitored they said. Location was amazing right at the Reeperbahn and very close to Subway and Millerntor Stadium.

Shower and bathroom in general was quite small.

The room was spatious and clean. Breakfast was good. The reception staff was helpful.

There was no parking at the hotel (although on Booking the parking was supposed to be available). The closest public parking we found was pretty expensive.

Great location! Super close to the U-Bahn and the Dom Festival was just across the street And within walking distance from the St Pauli pier

The doors and windows are not soundproof, you can everything in the streets and in the corridor

We liked the lady in the reception. She had a smiling face. We came to the hotel very early. She provided us breakfast and coffee on our tiring morning before check-in. She was really kind...we liked her attitude towards us. We also liked the location of the hotel. The room was big. İt was clean
