The location and view of the Harbour from our room was great. There was a good shower in the bathroom and everything was spotless. Friendly staff and interesting historical Maritime decor in the reception and pub. Good value for money.

It would have been nice to have a bit more space to sit in our room. There was only one chair, so one of us had to sit on the bed. There was no coffee machine / kettle in the room - waking up without my early morning coffee was tricky.

Brekky was adequate with a basic range of both hot and cold food. Not really good value for money. Location was very handy to transport and tourist attractions. Walking tracks are excellent but watch out for the arrogant bicyclists! Restaurant dinner was of exceptional quality but we found it peculiar that patrons are permitted to light up amongst diners! This seems the norm in Germany though and needs a change in regulation!

Pillows were awful! We expected basic tea and coffee making facilities in the room given its 4* rating. Internet connection as rather poor with lots of drop-outs and slow going.

I was in Hamburg with my partner for his birthday, and we chose the hotel because of its location, which is perfect. Although the room was very simple, I was surprised by how clean and comfortable the room was. I have never seen such a confy bed in a hotel room. Fast so gut like my own bed back home. In general, we have had a good experience, and the only inconvenience was that the hotel was undergoing renovations. Ps: I would like to recommend air conditioning in the rooms. Germany can get extremely warm in summer, and the only window in the room wasn't enough to cool it down.

Nice room in the Tower next to the main building. I had dinner in the restaurant and it has been a long time since I had such excellent service. Attentive without being overbearing and super knowledgeable about the dishes and wines. Breakfast was also good but I am a light eater in the morning so I am probably not the best to judge this.

Unfortunately the on-site parking was full, but they helped me with information on the street side parking rules

Very friendly staff.. easy check in and out process. Great bar, breakfast and evening meal. Very good location for our stay near the port. Good selection of bars and restaurants near by, close to center and train station. Wifi excellent and good facilities in the bathroom. Safe in the room. Nice touches such as an apple a day to keep the doctor away and we were left a jar of jam with a santa hat as there over christmas.

Bed a bit small and against the wall on one side, so not ideal for getting in and out. No pool or gym, no tea/coffee facilities in the room. Not a lot of hanging space.

We were pleasantly surprised by the nautical theme! Sometimes it even felt like being on a cruise ship - especially with that view of the water. It was close to the port and transit which is a plus. Excellent restaurant, we recommend you treat yourself to the terrace seating!

We learned upon arrival that there is no AC - not ideal for a sunny July trip. Let’s just say, heat rises. We did get fans provided though and the windows opened. Lower level floor in the tower is a must.

Very nice building in a perfect location just 5 mins from Stage Operettenhaus which makes it perfect for a musical night. Spacious room and delicious breakfast for a reasonable price P.S. wall art installation(?) with an apple left us puzzled. But it looks nice!

What unpleasantly surprised me is that there was no kettle or nespresso machine in the room. As I am staying a lot in hotels of the same price range, I felt like that was a standard practice. After a day out in a chilli Hamburg weather we definitely missed an option to have a cup of hot tea.

Beautiful setting above the Landensbrucke in St Pauli, overlooking the river Elbe, warm comfortable and very cosy beds great views from room windows. Breakfast very nice with lots of choice. Very pleasant bar just off reception, ideal for a nightcap before bed. Literally five stops on the 'U bahn' to the Main station and city center.

Not much at all, no real concerns or problems.

Location was fabulous, Reeperbahn in walking distance, Landungsbruecken right across the road & excellent public transport & easy access to Hop on hop off buses

We caught the train from the airport to Landungsbruecken and the access to the hotel from the U-Bahn station is difficult going up the stairs with bags and suitcases

When checked in the reception personnel made a card authorization on my credit card. During check out we paid the final amount with two different cards. I asked the front desk lady, what will happen to the original card authorization. She answered that it will disappear automatically immediately . It took almost two weeks to get original card authorization away from my credit card account. Because of that, I had to make some arrangements concerning my holiday costs.
