Nice and friendly staff; check-in and out went smoothly. I read negative reveiws concerning the noise. It certainly wasn't quiet because of the clubs, but didn't bother me much. The room size is suitable for a single bed I'd say as a double bed doesn't leave much space at all. However, it's understandable from their viewpoint as they can only do business based on the occupancy. Overall, a nice budget hotel and certainly a decent value for money.

Nice clean room above the Reeperbahn in the heart of St. Pauli. Beware of the hookers, though (who are in no way associated with the Keese): as a local explained to me, they're not sex workers, they're thieves whose only interest in sex is separating you from as much of your money as they can. Red hot on the outside; ice cold on the inside. Be warned.

No air con, so needed to keep the window open, and it was very noisy. So, if you're looking for a quiet night, perhaps the Reeperbahn isn't for you.

It is a great location if you want to have fun and enjoy the nightlife of Hamburg, so don't expect it to be quiet. However, to my surprise, I still slept well, and the music from the disco area was not bothersome. It is convenient if you want to go clubbing and don't want to worry about how to get back to your hotel.

Ah, just a bit more space for yoga would be good.

Location is awesome. Right in the heart of St. Pauli. If you need a quiet night, then maybe this is not your place. This location provides the feel and atmosphere of old school Hamburg. Just an Icon. Simple and easy check in. Spacious room and all clean.

At Saturday night it gets noisy through the whole night. But this is part of the game :)

Excellent location, easy to access and friendly staff. Good value for money. I saw many reviews complaining about how clean the rooms were but we did not have a problem. We didn't have a problem with noise either. You have to be aware that the hotel is located in a very busy street. Perfect for a visit to Hamburg with a group of friends.

Location is top notch for those wanting to go out. It's right in the middle of Reeperbahn and there are several nice restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Unlocking the building and room doors felt very high tech-- everything can be unlocked on online through a link sent to your email upon check-in. Physical cards are also available just in case.

We stayed in the summer and the room got very hot. With the windows open it got a bit noisy, but if you don't mind this it shouldn't be a problem.

Only 1 pillow each, steep lots of stairs no lift. No free bottle water, very small room and bath. Restaurants are few and maybe quality 2 out of 5 no good coffee shops in walking distance. Not an area for us it's an erotic shopping district. Lol

Great location and decent facilities for a short stay. Bonus point for how they used tech for hassle free and contactless checkin!

No stairs so going up to the fourth floor was a bit challenging.

The location was great and it was clean and new.

The sound proofing in the rooms was non existent, so the passage noise was intrusive. Also, the shower was very small and pokey.
