Clean and comfortable beds, a really spacious room, and everything you need inside—slippers, soap, towels. Daily cleaning. Breakfast wasn't very varied, but it was plentiful and delicious. Perfect location—just across the street from the small, cozy Carl Bosch Museum and a 15-minute walk from the Сastle along a beautiful street. I asked for sandwiches on departure because we were really tight on time for our train. I didn’t know if I would be able to buy food on the way, and a really pleasant woman at the reception made them for me free of charge. Thanks a lot!

The room could have been cleaner, but it wasn’t a big issue—just some dust from the trees since it was on the ground floor. Unfortunately, there was a moldy smell in the room, but we just aired it out. No fan in the bathroom.

It’s a comfortable hotel. Great for a one night stopover. Walking distance of Castle. Our room had a really nice sort of conservatory area. Breakfast was a nice continental selection. Staff were helpful and friendly.

No guests lounge, just a few tables outside in the courtyard and garden. No restaurant either …. a fact I failed to notice when I booked. No nearby restaurants bar one. There wasn’t a sofa in our conservatory area, just upright chairs, which were not really comfortable enough for a relaxed sit. Driving up the very narrow lane up to the hotel was a bit hairy!!

We loved the location, once we found it. It is located in the hills above the main town and it took us a while to find it. It is located in an upscale area with lots of trees and flowering shrubs. The hotel is beautiful and the service was excellent. The rooms are what you would expect from a renovated older hotel and manages to still capture the grandeur of days gone by. The street it is located on is very narrow and there is very little parking onsite. But we were permitted to park at the Carl Bosch Museum just across the street. That museum is worth a visit. We would never have known about Carl Bosch if we had not parked there. We were able to walk to the Heidelberg castle from the hotel, and then down to the main town. We opted to take a taxi back to the hotel, which was very affordable.

We liked our room, the breakfast room and breakfast itself too. The receptionist was very helpful. The location is beautiful., in a quiet leafy neighbourhood. We also appreciated the oil paintings on the walls.

Well, if you come without a car, your way down to the Old Town and back to the hotel will be complicated and may be tiring, depending on your physical condition. A half hour (at least) of quite steep descent and climb.

The room was fine, and breakfast was great. Not a lot of choices, but what was there was great. The location is quite far from public transit, There is a bus every half an hour or so, but only during workdays and it does not operate at night. It is possible to walk from the old town, and the walk is quite nice and scenic, but it takes at least 30 minutes.

The toilet flush system in my room was not the best. It had no reservoir, only a push button directly connected to the water line. So when flushing, there is only the pressure from the water pipe. In some situations, it may take several tries to successfully flush.

Very friendly and easy check in. The hotel is an older building and feels like it even with renovations. However, the room was spacious and clean, and the mattress was very soft and comfy. There is free street parking available, but we did have to park down a couple streets to find a spot available. Walkable distance to the Heidelberg Castle, which was nice so we kept our parking spot on the street. It's a good hotel to stay at for the price.

No close restaurants unless you drive or walk a far distance. The hotel is on top of a hill so walking down isn't so bad, but walking back up is brutal. There is no close bus stop, so you must take a taxi if you aren't driving by your own car. Breakfast was very expensive and we opted out.

My parents who traveled from Korea to Germany wanted a quiet hotel, so I booked it. It was a great hotel with fantastic views and a light walk to Heidelberg Castle. Above all, the staff was very friendly, and I felt like I was visiting my cousin's villa

The location of the hotel is difficult without a car, and there is little parking space. However, if the parking space is insufficient, a friendly staff will devise an alternative.

Beautiful peaceful location in the green hills above the city. Only about 10 mins on foot to the grounds of Heidelberg castle, and then you can descend down into the city. So perfect for our short visit. Room was a lovely size and very comfortable with a mini fridge and coffee making facilities.

Location of the hotel is nicel, even though not so close to the Centre of town, but only 25 minutes walk to Heidelberg Castle. The room was nice. The breakfast was diverse and good. The hotel has its own small parking place and also few parking places on the street in front of the hotel.

We had an enormous room (36) with extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent. Lovely to sit in the garden with a beer and relax after a long drive.

The location means quite a long and steep walk down to the centre of Heidelberg. We succumbed to a taxi to get home after dinner!
