We went on a day when the hotel was in very big trouble. The system was down and we couldn't check in for a long time, but another guest happened to come outside to smoke, found us in trouble, and explained the situation. . Then, they called in the staff who were staying there temporarily and finally responded. The response after that was wonderful. However, the staff room was in a room that could not be seen from the entrance, and there was no sign on the door that it was a staff room. And they didn't come out even when we were in trouble. I wish they had written something on a piece of paper and posted it saying, ``Please call the staff.''

I booked a single room and was given a triple. The bed was comfortable and the place was quiet, since the room faced towards a parking lot. Quick check-in and 15 min walk away from the airport. Overall good value for money.

The bed sheets had some stains (they looked clean but after a lot of use some unwashable stains are to be expected) and the shower was a bit small

The check in was closed till 5 pm and I arrived at 2 pm and no one was there. I wait 3 hours for the check in

We have stayed in the hotel before when it was owned by the Ibis Chain and we were pleased that the rooms had been fully refurbished and we're clean, comfortable and modernised since the new owners took over. The location is great as it's a short walk to Dortmund Airport and less than a minutes drive to the motorway.

The electronic booking in machine was difficult to navigate and also the "Breakfast Area" could be made available to guests to relax in the evenings.

The hotel administration takes money for breakfast, which is subsequently not provided. Update: Hotel administration contacted me concerning money return for the breakfast.

I loved it. Super clean, rooms are perfect for a good night sleep 15 minutes away from the airport. The bed was really good. You can't expect extra facilities, but the money requested is fair for the price. There was no reception interaction, but the sel check-in machine is doing the job. Just be patient. In the end, the code provided along with the room number is the same to unlock the hotel entrance door. You do not get a bill, but you can request it afterwards via email.

I stay here for the 3rd time every time I have an early flight from the airport. The hotel is okay for a one-night stay before a flight: nothing special, but it has clean rooms and is located 1 km away from the airport, which is enough for me. Breakfast is typical, with two types of muesli, yogurt, a variety of bakery items, meat and cheese, cucumbers and tomatoes, apples and bananas, juice, coffee, and tea.

Previously, there was an option for automatic check-in if you arrived when nobody was at the reception. However, the automated system no longer works, and check-in is not possible from 11:00 until 17:00. During this time, all you can do is wait in the hall with your bags. It was a miracle that I found the receptionist and was able to check in at 14:00 - I was really lucky for that.

Walking distance to airport, very comfy bed

The location is amazing especially if you have to travel by plane in Dortmund Airport, which was my case. There is also a Lidl supermarket next to it in case you need any food or drinks, which made it even better. The rooms were clean and simple and very easy to access without any human interaction needed using the pin code provided on email by the hotel, if you come later at night. For the price do not expect some luxury, but it is definitely worth it.

For my short stay I don't have any issues really, but would have liked for the reception to not close at 22:00 but rather a bit later or in such case to maybe have fixed the self check in machine. Also the pillows were to small and empty to lay on.
