Nice and roomy hotel. Located in a walking distance from the city center. The breakfast was among the nicest we ever had! Large variety of choices and of great quality.

There was no availability at the hotel's parking despite our request some months ago while we made the booking. Parking availability was among our criteria for selecting the hotel. We had to park to an outdoor public parking space nearby with additional charge. The room had a small bench-like position just for a laptop, a table or a desk could be more convenient. The bathroom door had a transparent glass. For a couple is ok. But for a family or for roomates (in case of a convention lets say) this can be very unconfortable.

Spacious room without comfortable bed and excellent shower although the decor of the room was quirky. Good breakfast.

Clear glass to the bathroom was unusual and made it feel like a one was looking into a miirror, In addition the lighting was poor - even with the bedside lights was difficult to read. We could have done with one more standard lamp. Tea and coffee were not refilled on a daily basis and the complimentary water appeared to be for one use - we were staying 6 nights!

Very pet friendly hotel. We received a dog bowl, a dog snack, and a dog bed. Great continental breakfast. Comfortable bed. Excellent location. Triple-glazed windows offer excellent soundproofing.

There is no coffee machine in the room, no mini bar or any snacks. Carpet in a dog-friendly room wasn't the best idea, it was clearly stained previously and not cleaned properly. Our dog could smell the previous furry guest. See-through door to the bathroom is an interesting choice. We could make eye contact while one of us was sitting on a toilet. Parking is exceptionally expensive, 24euro per day.

Great location, easy parking next to hotel, spacious public areas, innovative design of dining area, bedroom nice and large, lovely breakfast and excellent restaurant food. Friendly helpful staff.

No fridge: obviously there had once been one but the cupboard door is now glued shut. I’d like to suggest that the hotel offers rooms that have Only Walk-In Showers and maybe fewer rooms that offer a Bath. Showers in baths are dangerous especially when the bath is an old very deep design and also dangerous for less mobile people.

Great location: very close to city and train station; hotel in green setting. Roomy communal areas. Spacious room with window, view and fan. Very helpful receptionists. Pleasant ambience. Comfortable big bed. Good furniture .

Rather a dark interior in the bedroom. Lights in room but dull. Not ideal for reading. Opportunity for continental breakfast could have been attractive. A minor issue - hardly any coffee sachets and no milk sachets.

The location was brilliant, very close to all attractions and the railway station. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice, more things on offer than usual. We ate dinner in the hotel one night, the meals were excellent.

Consistency in rooms. First day there was no hand-wash (we didn't report it , just used body wash). Also on first and third day there were face flannels, but on the second day there wasn't. On second day hand-wash was provided and also big bottles of hand lotion, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The inclusion of hand lotion and hair conditioner was very welcome and I would say unusual.

The location, staff and breakfast was great. Room was clean and modern, but lacked AC (there was a floor fan). The minus was the rooms size, it was fine for one person (probably also for a couple), but travelling with my father I'd requested a twin room. And while we got twin beds (although put together with one sheet), we decided to get another room because of the limited space. Room no.2, in the same room category, was a bit more dated but super large. It came with two large individual beds with lots of space between them. Had we gotten that room in the first place, we wouldn't have needed to book another. Would also have liked to have coffee making facilities in the room. The coffee from the bar downstairs was good but too expensive.

Spacious and very clean. The bar and restaurant area is very nice. Couldn’t fault reception or the staff. Including the cleaning staff who were friendly and courteous.

The only thing I can fault is where my room was on the 3rd floor it was quite warm in the upper corridors and communal areas. However I must add I can’t fault the room as it had windows that opened 2 ways and a tower fan was supplied in the room.

Very good location, opposite the Trave river but on the Stadtgraben, just a 3-4 minute walk to Holstentor and approximately 8-10 minutes to the Altstadt and old town hall. Spacious room. Excellent breakfast buffet.

The room was quite dark with old, somewhat worn down furniture and fixtures. There was no electrical outlet near the bedside table. There did not appear to be air conditioning in the room.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Location close to city centre and very good breakfast with almost too much choices; rooms small but very clean.

Small bathroom including a toilet with clear glass door (?); very poor parking arrangement esp. for electrical cars: expensive (public) parking close/under the hotel (€20,-/day) with charging possibilities; free parking on other adjacent parking lots, but with 8 charging stations all “ Ausser Betrieb” !
