The hotel was very well situated in the middle of Mittenwald. The style of the hotel was very classic, felt right at home with a hint of Bavarian luxury. The hotel front desk was very approachable, especially in recommending activities for the day.

The parking situation was not ideal. The spots are not only for hotel guests, but also restaurant guests, so depending on the time you arrive, there is a good chance everything is filled. There are free options in town for overnight, but during the day, if the lot is full, seemingly all local spots would cost you. Also, the breakfast buffet was a tick bland.

The hotel is great and in a great location. The view from our room of the town with the mountain behind was amazing. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was a good size and included a bath which was great for soaking aching muscles after a day's hiking.

The no bathing suit policy in the saunas. I don't understand what the reason for it is. I was told I couldn't wear my swim shorts, which I had a towel wrapped round, but I could wear just the towel? The breakfast was also disappointing compared to similar priced hotels in similar locations.

Nice breakfast, the variety was decent. Very nice Finish sauna and swimming pool. Very relaxing after the long hike during the day. Sauna twoles were provided. It is located in the popular area of the twon.

Old bed sheets, it didn’t feel good to sleep on them. I wish still water was provided in the room fridge instead of gassed-water, or at least we could choose. Toothbrush was not as part of room toiletries But the staff was kind enough to give me kid's tooshbrush/paste (it was the only option available).

This hotel is in the perfect location right in the heart of Mittenwald. The finishing touches in the lobby and hallways were extremely charming. Our “rustic” room was spacious, had an incredible view, the beds were comfortable, the loveseat fit us both, the restocked, included drinks was a surprising treat, the included spa (pool and saunas) was lovely and the staff provided outstanding customer service.

Our bathroom, while very clean, was outdated and very tiny.

The town is lovely, and the hotel room was nice, especially the balcony. The breakfast was good, and we were allowed to check out an hour later upon request.

I picked this hotel because my 6-year-old kid is a huge fan of sauna, and I knew the hotel had one. We were very disappointed to find out that the only place where he was allowed was a chilly pool. I have no idea why, and it was not mentioned anywhere in the description. The lady from the reception was not very welcoming either when we asked her questions about the facilities.

The property is ideally located. The personal was extremely friendly. We arrived by tain, and the hotel was very nice to take our luggage early so we could enjoy a walk, since we arrived way before check in. They also were willing to keep our bags on the day of check out until before we had to make ou train again. The facilities were clean, the spa amazing and peaceful. We really enjoyed our time.

The breakfast was extensive and super fresh. Once of the best we had in Germany. The room was very clean and had some old world Alpine charm but not outdated. Our room had an incredible balcony that viewed the whole of the surrounding buildings of Mittenwald and of the alps. The sauna and pool was breathtaking. The staff was some of the nicest people! And the location couldn't get any better. Literally no complaints and truly hope I can stay there again in the future!

NOTHING - it was perfect

This hotel is a beautiful Hotel in the grand old tradition style. Everything about it is old school classy. It's not a "modern" hotel but the rooms are lovely and comfortable. Our room had a nice balcony with loungers and flower baskets. The breakfast buffet was a wonderful German style buffet with all the goodies. The hotel is located right on the main walking street and on Sunday morning we walked right out the door to see the adorable parade of cows "Almabtrieb" that are brought through the town at the end of the summer. We were able to park right at the hotel and that was very convenient.

It would have been nice to see the lovely bar at the hotel open for service.

This hotel had charm and character. The location was awesome with both breakfast and dinner on site serving exceptional meals. In the heart of all the town and an excellent outdoor cafe to people watch and enjoy the small city. Perfect location for hiking and biking. The rooms were very spacious with a balcony and the air flowed into the room nicely. Beds were comfortable and bathroom very good. The front desk managers were extremely gracious and went out of their way when I had an unusual request for a hand say to cut a piece of wood for a project. The lobby is so unique and beautiful. Don’t pass this one by if a you get a chance to stay here. Plenty of parking. Such a beautiful hotel both inside and outside.

Everything! One of the best hotel experiences I have had in recent years. This hotel is superb!!!! The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, with a balcony overlooking the mountains. The public spaces and gardens are beautiful and peaceful. There is a large indoor pool that provides spectacular views. The hotel is located in the exact center of this charming village. The staff was extremely gracious and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The hotel provides little extras like bathrobes and free drinks in the room. The hotel is undergoing some renovations. I did not see it as a minus since it did not inconvenience us and instead I think it resulted in a reduced price, making our stay an incredible value.
