Where to start… We arrived late and were greeted by an exceptional receptionist who was both kind and welcoming. Check-in was smooth, and we were made to feel right at home. Our room (room 500) was warm, clean, and beautifully presented, with a breathtaking 10/10 view that truly exceeded expectations. As a lovely touch, we were welcomed with a plate of cookies in the room, which was such a pleasant surprise. The service throughout our stay was outstanding. The reception staff were always approachable, offering help with a smile. When we needed directions or assistance, their guidance was clear, concise, and extremely helpful. The breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The selection of food was extensive, especially for the size of the hotel, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. It was the perfect way to start our day. The hotel’s location is another highlight—it’s just a short walk to the charming Old Town, which is full of small shops and restaurants offering a variety of options. During our stay, the Christmas market was in full swing, and it was absolutely magical! The stalls were well-priced, making it a great spot for unique gifts and festive treats. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently close to the main train and bus station, making it easy to explore the area. Another notable attraction nearby is the Nordkette, which is accessible via a short trip. Tickets were approximately €50, and it’s absolutely worth it for the stunning views and unforgettable experience. If I had to suggest one area for improvement, it would be the mini coffee station in the room—it didn’t include milk. However, this wasn’t a major issue as there’s a small shop nearby where I was able to purchase some. A quick tip: if you visit in cooler weather, you can keep your milk outside during the day to keep it chilled! Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a welcoming, well-located, and service-oriented place to stay.

If you arrive by train it is about a 10 minutes walk to the hotel. Within about 5 minutes you can walk to the old city with its pedestrian zone. The hotel itself has quite a bit of history too. The welcome at the reception was very friendly. The room was big and comfortable. TV and WiFi worked well. We liked the bed very much. The room was quiet though we could here some noise from the street. It sounded like people who had a little bit too much alcohol in their blood. The bathroom was big and modern. THe checkout was very well done at the reception.
We could not figure out how to operate the shower very well (temperature, water flow). But I have to add that we are technically not very knowledgable.

The hotel is very well maintained (nicely combines classic style with modern facilities), clean and has a nice concept (the room itself has the minimum you need during the stay, and if you need to wash clothes, or take new towels or you just simply need ear plugs, you'll find them in a dedicated room). I think they are encouraging a sustainablility, which is much appreciated. The breakfast is very good and served in the very well maintained basement. They also have a nice rooftop where you can relax if the weather is nice. The location is very good, close to the city center. The receptionists are very nice, customer oriented and ready to help in case of need. We would definetly return.

Loved the decor of the hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We arrived earlier than the 3pm check in but as our room was already cleaned we were able to check in immediately rather than leave our bags at reception. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food and while I thought the tea and coffee amenities in the room weren't great, we did not mention this to staff. There are laundry facilities on the first floor which could come in handy for any messy hiking gear, again, we didn't use these so can't comment on their suitability. The shower in the room was fabulous. Our room had it's own balcony area, with a marvelous view though it was too chilly for us to take advantage of the space while we were there. I'd happily return to the hotel when we are next in Innsbruck.
There wasn't anything we didn't like but we found the noise of the plumbing of other rooms over our heads a tad disconcerting at night. Again, we didn't mention this to staff.

Clean and conveniant.
Perhaps a on the expensive side for what it offered. Unfortunately there were two things that happened that were perplexing to say the least. A wine glass that had been gifted to me was removed from my room during the last day of cleaning. Also a bottle opener that albeit did look like a piece of construction material was also removed. The wine glass I was able to recover but not the bottle opener - which was also a gift. Its monetary value was small - less than 10€ but its personal value was high, as it was a gift that had its own meaning.

Very beautiful building, can't believe it's 500+ years old. It's very artistic, classic, like a museum. The room is also stylish and spacious. The location is great: less than 5 min to the old city center, to congress bus station / nordkatten kable, and bus stop for sightseeing bus and bus to Swarovski crystal world. Very convenient to all main attractions! The staff is very friendly and give good travel advice.
Everything is very good. One small suggestion: the hotel is sending emails in German after my booking, assuming is some preparation information. But I cannot understand it and it's a bit confusing. Suggest to consider to send communication in English, or not send it at all.

The room and bathroom facilities . The best AC I ever experienced in Austria with sufficient cooling during my trip in several places for last 4days.
The corridor is narrow and there are steps in some areas, which is not suitable for handicap wheelchair to reach the rooms. I suggest to add ramps instead of steps that help wheelchair and also Thier staff to move Thier luggage and moving cleaning tools that equipped with wheels. The elevator is quite narrow, almost fit wheelchair with a one or two persons. I suggest the hotel to coordinate with underground parking management, which is located next to the hotel to offer Thier customers with some discount on Thier rates.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are incredibly friendly. The location is fantastic being right next to the old city and near transport links. The room was very nicely styled and very comfortable. Would happily stay here again if I was ever back in Innsbruck.
I wasn't given the city welcome pass when checking in and my room was missing a "do not enter" sign, but I asked the next morning about these and were given them. The shower wasn't very good; the tubing was too short to reach the maximum shower head height and the wall connection came off a couple of times (I was able to put it back on but still annoying).

First of all: the description on the Booking site is complete and reflects all opportunities/benefits. I would say it is the best hotel for tourists without skies/snowboards or business trips. Accommodation: the room was clean and very spacious. The view was to the inner square of the building, so no traffic below my windows. Toilet is also clean and had everything, that you might need: shampoo, soap, sewing kit and even ear-plugs:) There was a bed, 2 chairs and a lot of space in the wardrobe. As well as the free safe. Also, there is a central heating/cooling system with a thermostat, but I didn't use it. I didn't ask, but it seems that they don't have a spare room for skies/snowboard, so you'll probably have to keep it all in the room/balcony. Location: it is located in the very city center, so you'll need just 5 minutes to reach most of sightseeing places! Better location couldn't be imagined! Still it is located 15 minutes away from main railroad station, so take it into consideration, if you don't travel by car. Breakfast: breakfast costs extra (app. 20 euros each), but it is completely worth it! You get meat and cheese slices, veggies, even salmon. Besides that there are different cereals, fruits and even hot omelette and sausages! I would recommend to reserve breakfast, as they serve it from early morning, so you can eat and start your daily itineraries! Parking: they don't have their own parking, but the closest parking to them has a contract, so you could pay for the parking at the reception - it will be cheaper, if you pay at the parking itself. Staff: the people at the receptions are extremely friendly! They can help you with anything: to make an Innsbruck card, to reserve a table, to help you find a way. They speak English and Deutsch, it was a great pleasure to talk to them, they were very helpful! Benefits: they have sauna, but depending on the season it has different working hours.
Cleanliness: when I arrived the room was absolutely clean. Several days later I started noticing some small rounds of dust on the floor, nevertheless the cleaning ladies come every day. It didn't bother me too much, as overall everything was still very clean. As I mentioned, sauna is not very big. And also 1 shower out of two was working poorly - not all taps were working. Again, it is not a big deal, when there are not so many people, but otherwise you'll have to struggle with it. On the other hand, I wouldn't expect a lot of frozen skiers/snowboarders there, so it is ok. All these small details didn't spoil me the great impression of the place!

Great location, less than 10 mins’ walk to the old town and mnay attractions. The hotel is a heritage building filled with antiques and vintage decorations. Staff wore traditional Austrian costumes which made you feel like you’ve travelled back to the 18-19th centuries. They were very friendly and helpful.
If they could provide breakfast, it’ll be more convenient. The glass door over the bathtub in our room wasn’t properly sealed. Every time after we took a shower, we had to deal with the puddles left on the floor. It’s very annoying.
