Despite the mixed reviews, this property offers excellent value for money. Most importantly, their heating is excellent and can be controlled from the room. If you like, you can turn it up, but you can also switch it off completely. The window can be opened, which is also very convenient. My room was quiet, even though it was facing the street. It was very clean and had everything I needed - a nice clean bathroom, a big closet, a desk and chair, a nice selection of TV channels and a comfortable bed to sleep in. The Wi-Fi connection was excellent throughout my stay. The property is located in a very safe, very quiet neighbourhood and is close to both public transportation (both ground and underground) and all the sights if you are a walker (all the most popular sights are within a 30-minute walk max). The whole property is very clean and the staff is very helpful and makes you feel really welcome. There is a supermarket close by and a few minutes up the street, at number 155, there is a local bakery that is open on Sundays and public holidays. The hotel also has a few items you can buy at the bar, which is very convenient. The next time I am in Munich I will certainly stay here again.
It is true that the heating is turned off when you arrive, but in my experience this is the custom in all of Germany and Austria and is not connected to this particular hotel. I was not surprised. Some reviewers mentioned that their bathtub was overflowing but I did not have this problem; the bathtub is old-fashioned, it is small and has a shower curtain so it might be a bit inconvenient for people of a bigger build or those who move around a lot when they shower.

The room was very cosy no matter that some of the furniture was not very new. The bed was big and comfortable and they had additional pillow and blanket. Very quite room. Internet, TV and shower worked without issues.
The staff didn't wait for the official check-out deadline, were just pushing me to leave. The furniture in the room prevented the free walking. For me that wasn't an issue and I was happy that all these things were there, but keep in mind in case you prefer rooms with more space.

I liked how friendly the staff were. The room had a great sized fridge.
The pillow was very hard. Small space making it hard to pack and unpack suit cases however would’ve been ok if travelling with a carry on sized suit case. Bathroom was very small

I arrived in Munchen 3 hours before check-in. After calling them, they told me I could reach the hotel right away. The staff is delightful, very helpful and patient (on Sundays, the german supermarkets are closed and the staff recommended me some places nearby where I could buy some food). The room was clean and tidy, with a fridge, a tv and a wardrobe. In the room I booked, there was the bathroom, too. And the price was unbeatable! I will be back! Curiosity: when I got to the floors of the rooms, it felt like I was in the corridor of a little theater :)

Perfect location, friendly staff, everyday cleaning and bed linen change on time. Nice room
Sound and wind isolation from the windows is very poor. Better to move bed to another side of the room

We were lucky to have a room with a balcony on the fifth floor so we could sit outside and enjoy the view. The hotel was also really comfortable, in a great location and had all that we needed. Really good for the price. Would recommend!
The only thing was that they took our towels on our second day and we couldn’t get new ones before 10 pm. But i’m positive that you could ask them to not change your towels if not needed. Also the carpet covering the floor was not the cleanest.

- Carpeted floor - Friendly staff - Working TV and side lamps - Clean linen - Central location (not far from train station)
- Thin walls - A little small (but this was also good as it felt cosy)

+ price not too bad + location + hospitality + changed my towels and bed sheets on the second day I didn’t experience all the negative reviews that I’ve read on here but it’s just my personal experience I’m speaking about.

This was actually rather better than I had expected for that price. It's not a luxury hotel, but it's central, well-connected, close to both public transport and the central railway station, and has a certain charm. Excellent value for a fairly central Munich hotel.

Despite the visible signs of the hotel`s age the room offered all you need for a short stay. The beds were comfortable, the bedsheet clean, working bathroom and clean towels.
