Quite close to main bus terminal and S-Bahn station Hackerbrücke. Comfortable bed, enormous tv which offers more than free to air. Breakfast on site available, also a bakery 2 doors down the street. Close to Italian and Turkish restaurants, also Augustiner Keller.

Shower cabin was small and difficult to get in and out of. Sharp corner in vicinity of bathroom light switch could lead to injury. Overall the lights in the room wasn’t quite strong enough.

Great hotel, close to the train station and city center. Really comfy bad. There’s a large shopping mall nearby. Incredible breakfasts, served early, which is a big plus. The price was reasonable for the city.

The worst part was the lack of an option to turn off the bathroom fan - combined with the sliding door, it meant constant noise.

Room had different amenities, breakfast was really good.

Breakfast system was very strange: I came for breakfast and then went to toilet, when I returned I was told that I have already had breakfast and cannot have more. So, I had to explain that I didn’t have the breakfast. So, very inconvenient and stupid system for getting the breakfast

Clean bedding, light space, modern bathroom, TV with Netflix/Prime etc, nespresso machine, mini fridge, complimentary toiletries, easy check in/out, beautiful views of St Paul’s church, easily walkable to most places, stones throw from the main train station, friendly staff. I was conscious of managing my expectations after reading some of the reviews regarding this hotel but I think they are harsh in their conclusions. For a cheap place to sleep if you are on a busy city break, this hotel is perfect and I was gutted I didn’t have more time to spend in the room!

A/C in room didn’t work but wasn’t really a problem as there were so many windows and the weather was cool.

The family room was very good a spacious & the balcony was amazing too. The location is realy good especially in front their is an Italian restaurant which is realy good( we ate their 3 time in 5 days) and round the corner their is a shopping complex which is realy good too.

One of the double bedrooms that I booked was too small and the bath towels never changed if though we put them on the floor because they were dirty, we found them folded back again :/ & the coffee machine was too old that it got stucked all the time we used it and no packets were replaced for us to use again :/ and int one of the double bedroom their was no coffee machine too.

Had to book here when our booked hotel let us down but it was so much better than what we had originally. We had a massive room with air conditioning and a balcony. So close to Hackerbruicke to get the train to and from the airport and the city centre and right next to tram lines too, made travelling seamless. And there’s a lovely bakery right next door, all you can eat meat restaurant opposite and mini golf on the same road. Could not fault it and worth double what we paid.

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Munich City! The place was very clean, and the breakfast was a highlight—delicious with a great variety of local German dishes to choose from. The location was also convenient, just a 40-minute walk from Marienplatz, making it easy to explore the city. Highly recommended for a comfortable and authentic Munich experience!

I found the lighting in the room to be insufficient, as the main light was behind the curtains, and one of the bedside lamps was broken. Additionally, the heater/radiator didn’t seem to produce enough heat, which made the room feel a bit chilly. Despite these issues, it was still a decent stay overall.

The location was fantastic with really easy transport routes to and from the city, good transport routes to the airport as well. The area felt safe and well kept, the housekeepers were very friendly and the room itself was good value for money.

The receptionist upon checkout was rather blunt - but this is me really clutching at straws, the room was also quite dark, but for the amount of time I spent in the room, not an issue. Walls quite thin, so wouldn’t be great if you were a light sleeper as I was on the first floor and could hear the bar downstairs.

Great value for money if you are exploring Munich; really close to Theresienwiese and the Underground Station - as a solo female traveller I felt very safe in the are and walking to and from the station at night. Lots of restaurants and bars around the area, while still being quiet and safe. Breakfast was included and plentiful - huge selection of meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, fruits, yoghurts etc. You could easily fill up on food and skip lunch making this even more of a bargain city break!

The tiny room (which was plenty of space for 1 person) got really hot even though I stayed in February. I slept with the windows open. Fan or air con would've been good!

Basic hotel close by the town center and the main train station, walking distance. Room had all that we needed. Comfortable beds, nice shower. Parking is a struggle. If you can even find a spot, it is paid except for late at night. We were blessed to have been given a ticket from someone that was leaving that was paid until next morning. So much love. Otherwize, it'll be pricey to park in the garages nearby. Better if you come by train. There is breakfast included which was really great. Many warm and cold options, great bread, lots of coffee. If anything, it will be good to book it just for the breakfast. Breakfast staff is nice and keeps all items stocked very well. Munich is not my vibe. Isn't much to do. The mood of the reception staff seems to be aligned with that :D cheer up guys! <3
