Breakfast was great (in the main hotel part) & a very good selection! Enough staff to clear tables and ensure the food was replaced when depleted. The room size was good for an inner-city hotel. Clean, well maintained. The room we had facing the inner courtyard was very quiet (on the second night - main hotel section, not the annex). Location was great. 5-minute walk from the main train station.

If you have a room on the street side, it is very noisy with the windows open. There is A/C, yet we like to have windows open in the night and the noise from the traffic below was loud and disturbed our sleep. We had a different room (courtyard facing) on the second night (in the main hotel section) which was much better.

Spacious and comfortable room (we stayed in the annex) with basic toiletries provided (shampoo, body wash, vanity kit), mini fridge, kettle and teas/instant coffee. Good housekeeping service. Breakfast was included and had a nice variety. Location was great for accessing the central train station and only a 15-20 minute walk from old town. There was a lot of construction happening in the neighborhood but hotel room was surprisingly quiet. Security seemed good since you needed hotel card to access interior doors but we were unable to get the safe to work (I’m sure staff would have helped if we had asked).

You can stay here by any means of transportation, but if you arrive by car, I recommend leaving your car at an incredibly low rate at the P+R Messestadt Ost, the terminus of the U2 subway line, which takes you directly to the central station, which is just a few minutes' walk away. The property was modern, well-maintained, and clean when we arrived. The breakfast was plentiful and good, with a wide variety of choices. Getting around by public transportation is just one option, because if you don't need to reach the outskirts of the city, you'll never need it. The staff was excellent.

The room cleaning during our stay seemed to have neglected the floors, but that was about it.

Room was a good size for 3 pax, clean with comfortable beds and close to the station. Very good breakfast, staff were friendly and helpful with info about munich and transport. Easy access to metro for a trip into old town else a flat and straightforward 15-20 min walk.

Lots of construction going on in the area - so busy with trucks and road closures (not the hotel's fault of course). We stayed here due to access to the train station and where we were picking up our car, else probably would have stayed closer to Marienplatz and the shops, sites etc. Lots of kebabs and pool halls in the area if that is your thing (not really ours!)

The room was a reasonable size, with air con and a fridge and plenty of electric sockets. The bed and pillows were comfy. The bathroom was small though and if you were 6ft you would struggle in the shower. Bathroom is within the room, but two doors between the bed and it, which I thought was good and added to soundproofing. The hotel was very quiet, despite the building site across the road and busy road, didn't hear a thing. We were in the annex, which was lovely and quiet. Breakfast was excellent, loads of choice from freshly prepared food, coffee, tea and juice, we used it between 8-9am, plenty of room and the woman looking after it ran it like clockwork! We picked the hotel due to its location very near the train station, so ideal for us. We walked everywhere though, about 15 minutes to Old Town.

The small bathroom would be an issue if you are a big bloke!

We were very happy with our stay. We chose it partly for the breakfast, as we collectively have various dietary requirements, and we were delighted to see a wide range of items available on the buffet. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, and although the hallways look a little tired, the bedroom was well maintained and comfortable. The hotel is located very close to the main station, and just far enough to avoid some of the grime that can come with being in such a location. The neighbourhood immediately to the south is pleasant for a walk, and the old town can be reached easily either on foot or via public transport. It's a busy area but the soundproofing is excellent: we couldn't hear the road and nearby construction works at all with the window closed.

Nothing significant, just that there can be a smoky cigarette smell in some of the public areas where the rooms are located (the rooms and the lobby are in different buildings), and the toiletries provided in the bathroom are rather basic.

Great location, very near both train station and bus station. Easy to get to city centre. Place felt really safe, not like some of the reviews I've seen. Unsure why. Lady at check in was fabulous, and helped us with the safe when it wasn't working properly. Thank you. Also. If you're staying above the first floor, there is an Elevator, we were on the 6th floor, and elevator went all the way from ground to 2nd then all the way to the top.

Lots of building work around the district right now, but can't helped.

Location is very central. Near the train station and tram stops. The room was clean and had almost everything we needed. The decor was very artsy and lovely to see. Breakfast provided was quite good.

Everything was great when we were there. However, the vending machines only accepted coins. It would have great if it accepted payments by card. It would have also been great if an iron and the board were provided. Suggestion: During breakfast, the table which has the bread and toaster should be moved to another section of the restaurant because it takes time for the bread to toast and therefore, people who just want to take other buns and cakes have to wait quite a bit long to get to them.

Friendly staff, welcomed with a smile and we were allowed our room earlier! Room was an annex....very big room with clean bathroom! Bedroom cleaned each day and Towels changed every day. Appreciated the shampoo and hair dryer. Location is fantastic, only a few minutes walk from train station. Appreciated being able to leave our luggage on our last day as we had a late flight, meant not having to carry heavy bags around. Breakfast was delicious, something for everyone 😋 really enjoyed the fresh fruit. Would definitely stay here again if in Munich.

I was surprised that my single room was actually quite spacious and comfortable; I just needed a hotel for one night whilst transiting through Munich. There was a large entry hall inside my hotel room and the big bathroom was off this hallway (ie the entry hall, bedroom and bathroom were all a part of my private room) so it felt like I had much more space than the usual hotel-room layout where you would just get a cramped ensuite directly off the bedroom. There were some nice touches, like the sweets on the pillow and chocolate to have with your tea or coffee. The breakfast spread was extensive and tasty, though the breaksfast buffet was very busy when I was there in the late summer.

The hotel is near the Hauptbahnhof (main station), so as is often the case with areas around large stations, the neighbourhood is not the greatest. But the trade-off is the convenience of being near the station (noting that there are huge construction works going on at the station at the moment, so there's a bit of terrain to cover with your wheely suitcase if you're walking to the hotel from the S-Bahn from the airport or from the station; try using the side exit from the station near the model railway shop, as it's closer to Paul Heyse Strasse, though I'm not sure if there's a lift).
