We stayed at your hotel over the past few days and honestly enjoyed every moment! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness at the front desk, it really felt like home. The room we got was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the entire hotel had a great vibe. The hotel looked exactly like the photos – modern, fresh, and very well maintained, which was a really nice surprise. The location was also perfect – super central and close to everything we wanted to see and do in the city. It was easy to get around using the subway or tram, and even walking 10–15 minutes got us almost anywhere we needed to go. We especially want to thank the front desk staff member Osman, who was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful from the moment we arrived. No doubt we’ll be back the next time we’re in Munich. A solid 5 out of 5 – thank you for a wonderful stay!

My stay at Cocoon Hotel Hauptbahnhof Munich was the best I've had in Munich. The rooms are very modern, with air conditioning and a stylish bathroom with shower and toilet. The furniture is beautiful, and the bed and bedding are extremely comfortable. In the double room, there's also a couch to sit and relax. Unfortunately, there is no fridge in the room — but that's not a problem, as there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. So everything you need is just around the corner. I will definitely come back! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Munich. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast area is spacious, and there is even a bar. Even though it's close to the main train station, the hotel is quiet, safe, and absolutely excellent.

Room was available at 11am with no early checkin fee a bonus for overnight flights landing 8am. Elevator mimics a cable car ride, staff is friendly helpful.Decor is whimsical/germanic motifs of cow bells, hay in glass cow bells lights Close to Haupbanhof 5 min.Comfy beds.Price quoted included breakfast.Its a good choice for a 1 night layover.I will return which is a good indicator.

Charged for coffee while awaiting checkin 5 eu. breakfast is basic/adequate -could use more selection for fruits etc .Breakfast was included with room otherwise I would have opted out.Room was narrow so we decided not to unpack.No kettle/fridge/pool/sauna but matched description

We stayed here twice within one week at the start and middle of an interrailing trip and both times it’s been a fantastic experience. The location near the station is fabulous and upon arrival the staff are really lovely, helpful and friendly and go the extra mile to make sure we were looked after on both occasions. Our second visit was after a 15 hour overnight bus from Split and we arrived just as people were coming down to breakfast just after 7am! The guy on reception went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and stored our backpacks in the fabulous cable car compartment and also prioritised our room with housekeeping so we could get a bit of an earlier check in. Everything about the room was fabulous, we had a split level one with two bathrooms, absolutely ideal for an adult travelling with two teenagers. The sofa bed was all ready prepared on both occasions and I had an amazingly comfortable sleep both nights. We didn’t have breakfast as thought 19 euros was a bit steep unless you completely fill your boots which it was clearly possible to do with everything on offer but the cappuccino from the machine for 4.50€ was possibly one of the best I’ve ever had!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Cocoon Hotel Hauptbahnhof – a true hidden gem in the heart of Munich! 🌟 Let’s start with the breakfast – hands down one of the best hotel breakfasts we've ever had. The variety was unbelievable: from fresh smoothies to roasted potatoes, fluffy Kaiserschmarrn, and delicious smoked salmon, everything was top quality and beautifully presented. You can tell a lot of care goes into every detail. The hotel’s theme is another standout feature – inspired by the Alps and mountain lodges, the design is cozy, modern, and full of character. It gives the whole place a relaxed, nature-inspired vibe that makes it feel like a little alpine escape in the middle of the city. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Hauptbahnhof, making it super convenient for both arrivals and exploring Munich. Our room was immaculately clean, stylish, and quiet. A big thank you to the wonderful staff, who welcomed us warmly and helped us check in late at night without any hassle. Their kindness and professionalism really made us feel at home. We’re already looking forward to our next stay – highly recommended!

We had a 4 night stay here in February 2025. The hotel itself is stylish and the decor is well thought out. The rooms were comfortable and the bed was great. They offered free water down by the bar so we could fill our bottles up for the day ahead. All in all I would recommend this hotel to couples or small families.

The parking was pricey at €24 per day and it was a tight squeeze for our car. The breakfast was ok but we didn’t care for the chives in the scrambled eggs, also we needed tokens each day to be able to get a plate which a little odd. The elevator is small and we found ourselves waiting for the lift up to 10 minutes at times.

The hotel is soo sweet, the decoration is tasteful and cozy. The room is very good, the beds are very comfortable, the shower is also very good. The sleep in the hotel was amazing. Their breakfast is also a 10 out of 10, you’d think it is expensive but its worth it since Munich its an expensive city, you wont find anything better for a better price outside (only if you eat very little). Also, since its close to the central station you can go back very late with many transportation options. The neighborhood is fine and you can walk late at night, no problem at all

Everything was excellent, I wish every hotel in Europe had the same quality

The hotel was perfect—just a 3-minute walk from the central train station. The best part was being allowed to check in early, even though we didn’t request it (though I believe it’s subject to room availability). After a long flight, being able to rest and shower before starting our city tour made us feel truly welcomed. We happened to visit during Easter and were pleasantly surprised by a warm holiday card and a large chocolate bunny left at our door—it was such a thoughtful touch! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, providing clear explanations about local attractions and how to navigate the public transport system. We were especially grateful for their flexibility with our late check-out, as we needed extra time to pick up our rental car before returning to collect our luggage. This was our first hotel stay in Germany, and it left a wonderful impression. With the warm hospitality, comfort of the room, and convenient location, we would definitely come back again

• Central location, walking distance to the main square • Nice comfortable room & bathroom • Amazing breakfast with a wide variety of options • Super helpful staff - shout out to Juanita who solved our aircon issue promptly yet professionally even though it was late in the evening on a public holiday!

• Lots of roadworks in a congested area with mainly 1 way streets making it very difficult to get to by car • The aircon in our room was broken (turning itself off every 2mins! We didn’t realise it wasn’t working until we got back from dinner to sleep.)

Conveniently a few blocks from the located to the train station, Cocoon was easy to navigate to. They are a super eco friendly hotel, the key cards were wood very cool. It is ski / chalet themed which we loved as we are big skiiers. The room was small but perfect for one night we needed just to shower and rest our head and jet out to the train early in the morning to head to the airport you couldn't have a better location for that.

My only complaint was the lack of and location of the power outlet was either in the bed above my head or in the bathroom.
