Location was very good.

Although well kept and public areas good with a very pretty outdoor area, my room seemed overdue for an update. I was also upset to realise what I had booked 2 months prior was a price about 30% higher than if I’d booked the week before. I pointed this out on check-in and was refused any assistance. REALLY spoilt my stay and I felt absolutely ripped off. If it wasn’t for the fact I would still have been charged for the stay by booking.com I would have walked away and happily paid twice the amount to stay somewhere 5*.

The area. The staff. Breakfast. The public area and the court. The area as far as I concern is prime location, good restaurants and coffee shops, no cars area, daily open market at the church Square.

We stayed at the junior suite. 650 Euro per night. For the price we paid, I expected- 1. A coffee machine 2. At least a kettle 3.Tv was broken. As it happened on Friday, had to Waite until Monday for a new one. 4.cover of the extra bed was torn. 5.huge walking in dressing room. Tiny bathroom 6.bath tub instead of shower. If you provide a bath tub please use glass sheet instead of an old style plastic curtain if you provide a bath tub please provide a safety grip handle. It is a must. 7. Learnt that no bathroom photos at the hotel site - means problems

This exquisite boutique hotel is situated within walking distance of the designer shops in Maximillian Strasse, the old town and market, the opera house and the extensive English Gardens. They only provide breakfast, which is served to your table, and you can almost sit anywhere you like to eat it. The hotel has a restaurant just up the road, but we didn't have time to try it. All rooms are decorated with a different theme. We had the 'Chinese' room. The adjoining bathroom has everything you need but is small, that's the only reason I have not given the highest rating. All the staff are lovely- you only have to ask! Recommended.

It's a charming hotel in the centre of Munich, just a short walk from Maximilianstrasse. The location is excellent. The room, although very small is decorated nicely, lots of mirrors and glass. Unfortunately we were there on probably one of the hottest days of the year, and the room was so hot and the windows didn't open properly. Staff were really nice, breakfast is served to you in their courtyard, which is stunning. We will definitely be returning.

There was no air-conditioning in the room. Wifi was a bit slow (when it worked). The bathroom and vanity rooms were very (very) small. Any longer than a day or 2 and I think you would struggle (as a couple). No fridge.

The breakfast was like having high tea with its presentation and variety. It was a classy boutique hotel. The room was unique which started with “the key” presented to unlock the door to our room along with the type of furniture, and bed design. The location was excellent close to the subway system and local coffee shops and some restaurants.

Banking machines are not conveniently located around the hotel. Also if you rent a car parking is not easy. We didn’t have an issue as we didn’t rent a car however there was a guest who was not happy about the lack of street parking available.

Beautiful external architecture, lobby and courtyard areas. The staff were all very professional, courteous and attentive.

Our room was wonderfully large, but outdated and quite tired-looking in terms of decor. Also, I realize that air-conditioning in older buildings in Europe is hard to find, but with climate change making the weather increasingly warmer around the world, it’s a shame that we will have to pick a more modern hotel with Air conditioning in the future. Unfortunately, fans just don’t provide enough comfort when the weather is above 33 C/90 F.

Beautiful building, good location about ten mins walk from Marienplatz, mostly very clean (so many mirrors!), comfortable bed and pillows, staff very helpful, shining star of this accommodation was the breakfast which was just beautiful and amazing service.

No proper curtain just a heavy net, ok for winter but would be a problem in the summer, no tea and coffee facilities in room, bath v tiny and shower just a shower head not attached to wall. Would have expected these things to be better for this price.

Very nice staff, room was very clean, breakfast was very good, although a "help yourself" service would be more convenient

The noise! I had a front room, and although the street was extremely quiet, at very early hours (I mean, 4:30, 5:00 am) there was some annoying noise from I don't know what. Also the room had no sound isolation, so I could perfectly hear my neighbor having a shower. At 6am. On a Sunday. Not pleasant.

A charming boutique hotel which lives up to its billing. It is located in a quiet part of the old town and has a lovely gentility about it. Breakfasts are served at table by attentive and helpful staff and the front of house staff were very helpful when we needed tape to repair a damaged suitcase. The hotel is within an easy 15-minute walk along Maximillianstrasse of landmarks such as the Hofbrauhaus.

Our room was very small, though comfortably appointed with mock antique furniture. The bathroom must have been designed for people of exceedingly diminutive stature because it was impossible to shower without the water escaping every time you tried to turn around in the cubicle. The sliding doors to the bathroom did not close completely so one tended to share one's ablutions whether or not one wanted to.

It’s a beautiful Hotel inside and the courtyard was just lovely

The breakfast was ordinary The omelette and scrambled eggs didn’t taste very good and there was very limited options available for breakfast The fact that you had to pay for fresh orange juice was disappointing. I was also disappointed there was no fridge in the suite A very ordinary suite it was also and the pillows need replacing asap as the are flat
