One of the highlights was the vinyl player in the room — such a unique touch that added to the cozy atmosphere. It didn’t work at first, but after two days, the staff replaced it with another one, and it was worth the wait! Listening to music on vinyl made the stay feel even more special. Breakfast was also great, with a good selection of cheese and fruits. A special shout-out to Vanessa at the front desk — she was lovely! Friendly, helpful, and always with a warm smile, she made my whole stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel is simply stunning! We loved the decor, the music theme (which was why I booked it) was unique and appreciated by myself and my music-loving teen! The little things like underfloor heating, a divine bed and bedding, a safe, cosy window seat, Bluetooth speaker and record player, fabulous shower…. the list goes on! The staff who were outstanding from day one, from front desk, housekeeping, kitchen and restaurant who were all approachable and super friendly and helpful! The breakfast choice and evening food was excellent, and did I mention the amazing staff who couldn’t have done any more for their customers!! Location-wise it met our needs perfectly - on the edge of the city but quiet with excellent transport links and green spaces and museums a short walk away. We stayed during the period between Christmas and New year and enjoyed every minute here! Would have no hesitation to stay here again if we travel to Munich in the future and recommend Jam’s Hotel to all, music enthusiasts or not!

Honestly, what’s not to love!

JAMS Music Hotel offers very good and honest value for money. Its location is ideal, providing easy access to key parts of the city, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was high-quality, to suit different tastes. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would definitely choose to stay here again. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-maintained and high-quality hotel in a great location.

The only minor downside was the surprise closure of the hotel during the Christmas holidays, which we weren’t informed about beforehand. However, to be fair, we hadn’t specifically inquired about this in advance.

Comfortable, quiet rooms even during Oktoberfest. The breakfast is wonderful...all fresh, organic etc..lots of choices. They even roast / blend there own coffee. Kamal and the rest of bar / kitchen staff were great in the mornings, always with a smile for the guests ✌️ The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, printing documents for us, receiving packages, directing us to a local Laundromat etc.

The rooms seemed to accumulate quite a bit of visible dust, the heated concrete floors had us wearing socks all the time which showed all the dust. The biggest issue for us was figuring out room electrical switches. There are at least 9 separate switches, most of them were 3 and 4 way switches which created confusion trying to figure out how to control the lights, fan and outlets. There is also a master switch that cut power to everything including the outlets. Cleaning staff often manipulated the switches when cleaning, commonly turning off the master switch when they finished....thus disconnecting anything that was charging. We were there for 6 days so we got it sorted out after a day or 2, but it was confusing

The location was good and directions given by staff were helpful. Loved the decor and the option to borrow vinyl for room. Bar was friendly and well stocked with a good atmosphere. Loved the wall art on each floor.

Half eaten food left in fridge wasn’t removed even though we mentioned it at reception. Shower leaked badly, door didn’t close properly. Controls for shower were in the loo which we didn’t realise. A sign beside them would be helpful. Sink was stained and didn’t seem clean. Daytime reception staff were great but at night they seemed harassed as they ran the bar also. Record player in room didn’t work well. Very poor sound quality.

We booked this hotel based on a close friend recommendation. It was an excellent choice. All staff was very friendly and ready to help in a moment's notice. The breakfast was very good, in a modern and elegant area. Also, we truly enjoyed the open patio in front of the hotel. I want to say a few words about the vinyl records and the turn tables available in all rooms: that is an excellent idea! Each night we could listen to a record we have not heard in a long time. Thank you for that.

It was hot in the room because of the high temperatures outside. However, the hotel provided a portable AC unit that helped. My guess is the hotel could look into dealing with the heat in better ways since summers are getting hotter. However, some alternatives could be costly. I completely understand that.

Breakfast was ok. Not a lot of choice; some cheeses, cucumber and tomato. There was a selection of sliced meat. For 20€ it did not feel like good value. The chef offers several egg options which was appreciated. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious The location was really good for travelling to and from the Hbf, and is ideally located next to the Isar and park, and a short walk from the center of the city. Having a choice of records to play in the room was a nice touch that I appreciated.

More choice at breakfast

I liked the location a lot. It was close to public transportation, a lovely walk to the city centre, and good restaurants nearby. The staff were great - friendly and helpful. I appreciated the multiple receptionists that I met - they all had ready information to the questions I asked. The breakfast staff were nice too! I met one of the chefs who over breakfast my last day and he was super sweet. The vibe was great! I loved the murals on the walls, the music playing, and the record collection was a cool touch. My room felt modern and fresh.

It was a bit expensive, although the city hotels are all pretty expensive. I compare the price with options in other countries and it felt high.

It is a nice little hotel within walking distance from the heart of the city and about 500 m. from a train stop where you can get from/to the airport (I do recommend this option as it is very convenient, faster and cheaper than a taxi). The staff is very polite and welcoming. The room was good and comfortable enough for our 3-night stay, although not very big. The atmosphere is cool, especially for music lovers - Sonos speakers in the lobby bar that doubles as a restaurant, turn tables in the rooms, and many vinyl records available at the reception to choose from. A decent DJ on Friday and Saturday evenings to enjoy some nice cocktails while listening to good music. Good breakfast, I'd love a bit more vegetables, but it is more than enough for a good start to the day, including freshly squizzed orange juice and espresso.

The vinyl records could use some cleaning as the ones I tried were quite dusty. As it is reasonable to expect, the turn table in the room is not a state-of-the-art one. What I'd expect is for it to be set up properly. In my case, the tone arm was not balanced which made the turn table practically unusable. I ended up using the available plan-b and used a very decent Bluetooth speaker in the room, so we still enjoyed good music while in the room. A fun fact - there is a note that you can enjoy a free mini-bar in the room and it is true - it consists of a bottle of still water and a bottle of sparkling water - not a huge deal, just made us laugh a bit.

Great themed and styled hotel. Nice vibe. Felt newly refurbished, and looked it. Room was lovely and bed very comfortable, only 1 pillow in a single room, I like two. Great location, 15/20 min walk into centre, but the local area was lovely lots of cafes, bars and restaurants and very quiet and chilled. Staff seemed nice, but little interaction as only there 1 night. Breakfast was lovely and fresh.

Only downfall was that restaurant and bar was closed Sunday and Monday. We arrived Sunday evening ready for food, it was ok as it forced us to go to the centre which worked well. My room looked on into a courtyard which seemed to have private apartments opposite so had to keep the curtains closed for privacy which was shame as it made the room feel dark.
