We liked the garden, nice to wake up with birds songs..Safe location even though it’s very close to main train station. Descent size of bathroom with immediate hot water with good pressure. Great size of TV, international channels available. Breakfast is delicious and we had it in the garden while the weather was OK. Within 10 to 15minutes, you can reach Marienplats. Good soundproofing, we have never heard others while sleeping. Having option to skip the house cleaning to save moneyis good option, they provide voucher instead.

Streaming services is a MUST at hotels now I believe, but no such choice was available. No iron board&iron. Retractable cloth drying rope would be great in shower.

Spotlessly clean, fantastic location. Our room which overlooked the main street was nonetheless very quiet. Shower excellent and towels adequate. Near the main railway station, which is a bonus, but in a respectable area. No issues walking back at night. Desk staff were unobtrusive, but polite. Breakfast staff were always warm and welcoming and the breakfast room was a very nice place to start the day. The hotel felt very safe.

Breakfast felt a bit samey after a week there, but was plentiful enough. We have stayed before in the winter, and I think the breakfast then offered more hot items, which would have been nice for a change. The scrambled eggs might well need a recipe review in my opinion. (In fairness though, I tend to be very keen on a top class breakfast. Others may not care so much.) Our room was small, but it did the job. Storage was adequate. The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked very well. No other issues at all.

We stayed in 6 hotels on this trip and King’d has been our favourite. First, staff are very helpful and friendly. This is a big plus for anyone coming from the friendliest country - Scotland. Second, it was very clean. General cleanliness is very important to my wife and she found King’s very clean. The bedding and towels were spotless and smelled very nice. We really liked the ‘facilities’ room on the 1st floor where you can get extra towels and toiletries. Coffee and tea can be made in the reception area and we liked to relax there with a cup of hot drink. It’s also very close to the main train station and 20 min walk from city center.

The bathroom is very, very small. It’s literally the size of a train toilet. We aren’t very big people otherwise it would have been very difficult to fit in the shower! Also, the ‘free minibar’ that’s advertised is a non-functioning fridge with two water bottles that aren’t replenished. The fridge didn’t work and our drinks remained annoyingly at room temperature. Pillows were also insignificant as others have also noted. These were the only minor inconveniences.

The hospitality of the staff was exceptional. The hotel specialises in doing the things that other hotels don't do. Free coffee in an area near the reception (and even complementary apples). A lovely garden area which you can look out on. The staff were so helpful both when we checked in nd when we used the coffee facilities as we had a late flight. They recommended two Bavarian restaurants that are close by. There is also a Trattoria and Backerei opposite. It is only 350 metres from the Hauptbahnhof and the airport bus (Lufthansa express). Walking distance to the Residenz Museum and the university. Highly recommended.

We booked this last minute so was a bit dubious but really pleased it was a lovely hotel with great staff . The man who checked us in in the Saturday was especially a really friendly fella . The aircon worked brilliantly which was needed as it was hitting near mid 30s . The bed was comfortable and overall really quiet . Again we did not expect much from breakfast but again surprised as it was lovely good selection and had hot food also which was fab . Also 5 mins to train and 20 min to town square

The hotel is a five minute walk from the Munich Hauptbahnhof and very convenient for all city transportation. It is about a 25 minute walk into the center of town. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was ample and good, with even Bavarian weisswurst if you like that sort of thing for breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. We liked the free bottles of water and the 10 euro voucher for those who elect not to have their room cleaned daily on a multi-night stay. There is a very nice garden atrium where you can sit if the weather is nice. There is a great Italian restaurant across the street from the hotel.

The Club Room was rather small.

Very good location with easy access to city centre and surrounding areas. There was a lovely inner courtyard which was great for relaxing and made it feel a bit secluded. There is a great scheme re vouchers if you stay for two days or more and don't have room cleaned - vouchers can be used in the bar which is a good incentive. Parking was easy and reasonable at nearby sister hotel (it was not available during our stay at this hotel due to an issue with elevator). Staff were very helpful and friendly and complimentary water and coffee were a nice touch. Nearby restaurants - the Italian opposite were great. Breakfast staff were exceptionally helpful.

Lift is a bit small - so be prepared to wait turns but that is all I can think of.

Very good value for money. Room and bathroom were nice, with enough space for everything and usual amenities fof 4* hotel like mini fridge and safe. Two free bottles of water every day. Free coffee and tea in a small, but cute lobby, that also serves drinks in the evening. You can opt for 10 euros voucher instead of one day room cleaning and use it for breakfast or drinks in the lobby. Location is extremely convenient for exploting the city and surroundings - only couple of minutes walk from the Central train station, but the immediate neighbourhood felt safe, with many shops, food places and bars. Transport to city centre is very easy with tram or metro (U- and S-bahn) and 40 mins away from the airport with S-Bahn. Walk to city centre is about 20 min.

The location, despite being very convinient, is not charming and some of nearby parts of the Central train station neighbourhood, like in every big city, might feel unsafe in the evening, so check before you walk around. Breakfast is average and deffinitely not worth 20 euros.

A male hotel employee was a bit rude when we checked in. However, the female employee next to him and the other receptionists were very attentive and cheerful. My brother hit his head on the headboard above, although it was his own fault, the room structure is a bit dangerous. However, the person at the reception was very attentive, thank you to him. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was good. If you don't want your room cleaned, they give you a card worth 10 euros per day and you can have free breakfast with 2 cards. This is a very nice application. The location of the hotel is good, you can easily reach everywhere and it is a very quiet, comfortable and cozy hotel.

We stayed in room 609 and had a view of the courtyard. Great aircon, bathroom, shower pressure and an extremely comfortable bed. Plenty of room for our large luggage also. Breakfast was plentiful and topped up regularly. The gentleman who runs this area is very polite and made us feel welcome every morning. The voucher for not having your room serviced is a great initiative and we used this for our stay. Very close to the train station. We used the courtyard for a self made dinner on two occasions and it was lovely.
