We wanted somewhere a little more traditional and this hotel definitely gave us that. We were very happy to have a room overlooking the water. The staff are mostly very happy and do their best to help you.

Only a couple of negatives, us Brits love our tea and coffee, I knew that we couldn't make any in our room from other reviews but after a very cold walk back from the station we couldn't get a coffee from the bar either, my other half did manage to get a cup of tea but was then shocked at the 7.90 pricetag! The breakfast staff arent as chatty or happy as the other staff which is a shame.

Only 4km from Pasing Station, with good transport options like the S-bahn and bus connection to the city center. We arrived by car and it was great to have free parking on the compound. The room we got has a rustic wooden decor, was of a decent size with windows opening to the water mill outside. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is modern with plenty of hot water. There is heating but no air conditioning. If you like a cooler temperature to sleep, especially in the summer you will need to open the window and bear with the sound of the water rushing from the water mill. We did leave the window open and it was fine for us. The staff are all very polite and helpful. The restaurant serves very delicious food!

Our experience was exceptional. The location is idyllic, perfect for those seeking tranquility and beauty in their surroundings. The rooms were spotless, super clean, and extremely comfortable, which made our stay very enjoyable. The center of Munich is easily accessible by public transportation. There’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel, which conveniently connects you to a nearby metro station, making it very easy to get around. The staff was very kind and attentive at all times, making us feel very welcome. Overall, I highly recommended it for anyone looking for a pleasant stay.

Although on the outskirts of Munich, we liked the location and the ease of getting in to the city by train with no parking to worry about. The included breakfast was as expected for the price paid. Evening meal very good with pleasant and helpful staff.

Garden unkempt. There had been a function sometime before we arrived, when we left three days later there were still wet table cloths and dead flowers on tables, and fabric cushions on the chairs in an untidy fashion, even during heavy rain. Unsightly. The young gentleman on reception in the mornings was off hand and surly. He continued to work on his computer just ignoring us for some time, he needs replacing! Sadly this marred all positive aspects of the stay.

The setting is great you feel like your in the middle of the country yet only 15 mins from Munich centre by train. I paticularly liked the Beer garden with good food . Rooms were huge and the small balcony overlooking the garden was great. Everything was clean and the breakfast was good. The man on reception who wore a cap was friendly and very helpful.

No coffee or tea however they do provide a coffee machine and kettle so was not a problem for us.

The room was fabulous, clean and huge. Incredible views out the back, lovely and quiet. Good location, bus ride to train station then train into Munich. Even though on a very busy main road it was quiet inside

The staff were not friendly. We stayed in 5 hotels throughout Austria and Germany in this trip and unfortunately this stood out on how blunt they were. Maybe it wasn't a tourist hotel? Breakfast was well below the standard we expected. No High chairs available, no tea, only one pot of coffee on table and no one around to ask for refills. Just a very limited choice. It's a shame as the hotel itself is stunning

Not located in the center of the city but if you don't mind the 15 min drive it's a wonderful place surrounded by nature. Large rooms with also large bathrooms that can easily accommodate three people. We arrived late and Emma was able to get us a reservation at a local restaurant since they didn't have any availability at their onsite restaurant. She called the place as we were driving there and helped us with directions. Very friendly service with a smile. Great breakfast buffet as well. We only spent one night but will certainly be back when visiting Munich.

I liked the room, spacious shower and toilet! Nice modern renovation! The room smells new and the renovation is modern.The room is clean!I especially liked the bed with the memory foam mattress!The room had a smart TV and high-speed Wi-Fi. The interior was inviting and reminded us of our home! It was very cozy and pleasant to be at home!We were filled with a feeling of coziness and comfort! I wanted to feel like I was in my own home! Great view from the window! Beautiful windows to the floor!

We didn't like the breakfast that was included in the price.The products are all open to the air, there is a small selection of products. I didn’t like that you had to go to another building to get to the restaurant. I think that there should be a separate place for breakfast where people from the street do not come in! We were upset because there was no freely accessible coffee machine. You could only ask the waiter for coffee. There was coffee on the table that was not tasty! There was no feeling of calm in the restaurant; the feeling that you are a guest and not welcome does not leave you while you are in the restaurant.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The fact it felt like you were staying in the countryside was something special! The gentleman on the morning reception was wonderful, and he made every morning great with offering so much help to navigate the beautiful city and surrounds of Munich! Will absolutely stay again and the fact it has a bier garten and river flowing in the back was an added bonus!

The location was a bit far from The city centre but it's nothing to be complaining about when there's an S-Bahn only 10 minutes walk away!

Location was great. The hotel was clean and breakfast was great. The fact that the hotel was surrounded with greenery was great, as we travelled with a toddler.

The hotel does not have a lift and neither ACs. Most of the staff members do not speak English, however we have noticed that most of the citizens living in Munich do not speak English or else refuse to speak in English. There were times that during the night the music was too loud and we could not sleep. On another note, one morning we had to skip breakfast as we wanted to travel to Salzburg so we had to leave early in the morning. The hotel did not provide us with some kind of packed lunch instead of the breakfast and this was new to us as when we skipped breakfasts, all other hotels provided us with some kind of packed lunch to make up for the breakfast.
