Hotel Ludwig was a delightful place to rest after sightseeing in Munich. It was very accessible to the train and buses and an easy ride into the centre of Munich. There are also easily accessible supermarkets for a bit of home cooking, after we had been travelling for some time. We had a spacious unit which had many thoughtful touches and was beautifully presented. We were greeted very warmly and felt very welcome. The description of the property was spot on. We loved the underfloor heating, which made the place very cosy. We had daily housekeeping too, which was lovely.

It is very hard to get beds and bedding that suits everyone and unfortunately the quilt was too warm, without alternatives for a very hot sleeper like me and it was too cool with nothing. There was limited cutlery for us, but the kitchenette is stocked well enough to do basic meals.

They allowed me to do early check-in, which was very useful since we came early to the city for a concert that night. It's well connected with public transport and it has an elevator to reach the apartments. It was spacious and clean, with a small kitchen, fridge and all you need to stay comfortably. I was worried the attic would be too hot, but I didn't feel it even if it was a hot day. They also have 2 fans just in case.

The pillows were not comfortable at all, too thin. We were lucky there was an extra bed near the toilet with another pillow in better condition. They had WiFi but the password was not in the room, I had to leave early so I didn't ask, but I'd appreciate they just have it somewhere in the apartment already. We just stayed 1 night so it wasn't a big deal either.

- Good location, less than 5 min min walk to metro. - Owner us very nice and helpful. Luckily I arrived around 11 am and the room was ready for check-in. They also provided chocolate for new year’s gift. - For 2 bedroom apartment, the room was spacious and equipped with big refrigerator (no freezer), stovetop, microwave. - The heating system worked very well in winter. - Free parking nearby the hotel - Lift is available (easy to transfer our large luggages)

- just small thing, there were no glass for water in the room. Only coffee glasses available. - Sometimes the water heater in the bathroom stopped working.

Upon entering hotel we met Andrea who was friendly and informed us about Oktoberfest venues which was one of the reasons why we came to Munich. Soon after, we met Felix who was equally friendly. Our room was very comfortable, clean, quiet, and shower had plenty of hot water. The location was about five minutes walk to the metro/train station. Andrea & Felix recommended a wonderful restaurant. In short, we'd stay here again.

The only negative was the bathroom had a cigarette smell possibly due to venting system.

We were greeted by the owner of the hotel - a polite and discreet man. The place was according to our expectations. The apartment is accessible by elevator. It has two separate bedrooms, a living room with a minimalist equipped kitchen, a bathroom with plenty of towels and free parking right in front of the hotel. Clean and pleasant place! The metro station is 250 meters away, from where you can quickly get to Odeonsplatz or Marienplatz. Recommend!

Easy to park with private lot. Very convenient to ubahn and shops, restaurants. Hosts were accommodating and apt was clean and spacious. Layout was perfect for family with two kids.

It got quite warm at night (in early January, even when temps were very cold outside and thermostat all the way down), so we had to open the windows, which let in road noise.

The location was close to all the transportation we needed to get around Munich. The apartment was spacious and very clean. It worked perfect for us and I would definitely stay here again.

There wasn’t air conditioning so it was warm for sleeping. However, there were fans in the apartment which helped significantly.

Very comfortable and good size room, very clean and excellent location - close to train station that will take you to major sites and close to supermarket/restaurants. Staff are so friendly, the wonderful man that checked us in (sorry I didn’t get his name!) took the time to show us train routes and what was possible to see at each stop. He was so welcoming and really made our arrival pleasant!

Wanted to stay outside the Munich green-zone area, because the car didn't have the sticker. The metro/bus/train station was very close. The staff was very very helpful. He allowed us to check in early as we arrived earlier than expected. Free parking was available in front of the property. It's a clean, basic hotel without any frills. But that's not what you are expecting and paying anyway. I liked it.

Breakfast is served in the room, perhaps due to the limited space available. It's enough, but there's not much variety.
