Star G is a very nice hotel, and evidently Family Friendly because everybody we saw had a bunch of kids, and there were lots of customers. The families also spent time in the lobby, where there was an actual arcade game as well as other entertainment. When do you ever see people in a hotel lobby? The demographics made me wonder if there were a Disneyland nearby. For me, the best thing about this hotel is that there is a niche in the bathroom over the toilet, so males can look at a dried flower arrangement instead of a dumb old mirror, which seems to be such a popular bathroom design element. Who wants to look at his own face while doing that? More niches in bathrooms! I will forgive them the sliding glass door that serves both the toilet and the shower stall, and the glass wall facing the bedroom, with an afterthought curtain. This hotel fad is not nearly as clever as you think. We had breakfast dates every day we were in Munich, so we never tried that. The man at the desk the first night told us that Deragtstrasse has free parking and we didn't need to use the 16 euro per night parking structure.

Dave thought the coffee was bad. But even in a multinational big office desert like north Schwabing, there are a bunch of coffee choices.

This is a really nice hotel for the price. We liked everything - the check in was super smooth, the rooms were big and clean, there was everything we needed for a short stay. There is a parking very close to the hotel, but it's not included in the price. Still, it was a good option because we needed to park our car somewhere. We're a big family so we booked two rooms (each one can accommodate 4 people) and they were next door to each other, which was great. The hotel offers breakfasts which are free for kids under 13, so if you have smaller kids you basically only pay for adults. We would stay here again when we're in Munich.

The service was excellent, beyond our expectations. We traveled with a baby, so we needed a crib and we got one for free. It just fit into the room, which was just perfect for the whole family. We got also a kettle and a coffee machine for free, so all our extra needs were fulfilled. The room has a small fridge inside which is very useful. In the lobby there is a small table with small chairs for small kids, and a retro Pac-Man machine as well, so the children can have some fun there. There are several bus stations for different lines (and different directions) and a tram station within 5 minutes of comfortable walk with children. There are also supermarkets, bakeries, fast-foods and restaurants within walking distance. The surroundings have lots of trees and green areas, and everything looks so peaceful around, so the location is excellent.

Maybe a small "instruction manual" for the fridge would be useful. I expected the blue button facing downwards to be the one for making it cooler, but actually the red button facing upwards makes it cooler. I just had to wait some time and check, so it's a trial and error, but if someone is in a hurry, it could be helpful to have it clearer how to use it. Besides that everything was straightforward and working as expected.

Service at desk below average. Couldn’t split bill for some reason and we ordered breakfast for four and we got one breakfast for four days for one person. Young lady in the counter was very unpressional and seemed very rude. Breakfast service good. Overall seemed that hotel does everything very average. At the checkout, man in the service desk left very nice feeling though…he gave as nice gingerbreads as memory. Nice touch!

Star G Hotel Premium Munchen Domagkstrasse although is a bit away from city center, there is a tram station nearby and it is quite convenient to travel around. Hotel is great with free access of internet and children play station. My kids love it! Breakfast is good with lots of selection and hot meals changes daily. Staff are helpful to assist on the go about in Munchen. There is a paid car park but also a free parking at the road side just behind the hotel next to the main road. We find it safe to part there for few days/nights.

The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and tasty options that made for a great start to each day. Our room was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable, which added to the overall relaxation of our stay. The location was also convenient, close to both the BMW Museum and Englischer Garten, with grocery stores and nice restaurants within walking distance.

On the downside, the room cleaning wasn’t as thorough as we would have liked. Additionally, the bathroom and toilet shared a single door, which was inconvenient as it prevented us from using them at the same time.

They were kind enough to let us check in early without any extra fees, which was a nice surprise. The buffet breakfast was delicious, and the kid's activity area was a big hit with my niece while we waited for our room to be ready. The location is also excellent—very accessible but quiet enough to truly relax.

The bathroom setup was a bit inconvenient since the shower and toilet share a single door, so only one person could use the facilities at a time. Additionally, the refrigerator in our room wasn't cooling properly, which was a bit disappointing.

Location with a good access to the bus stop and tram station, nice breakfast, which my kids and I liked a lot, comfortable beds, friendly staff, kids-friendly facility (drawing and some games for kids in the lobby and breakfast room), supermarkets nearby

The hair dryer in the room was not good. It takes forever to dry hair. I asked the staff, but they do not have another one. The cleaning quality did not meet my expectations. We stayed there for 3 nights, but the glasses were not changed. One of the towels were worn out.

We appreciated the family room with comfortable beds, clean room, and the quality of the breakfast. Our kids (2 boys, 8 and 10 years old) liked the Pacman arcade game in the lobby and the soccer field about 400m from the hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet area but is easy to take the tram to the city center. We enjoyed our stay.

We had to enter our own passport details after a long trip. Perhaps the staff could do this instead.

The room was nice, clean, quite and comfortable. A coffee machine was in the room and a bottle of sparkling water, to welcome us. The location good enough, there was a bus station in 5 min by foot. Distance from center 20 min. The staff was friendly and the general service good.

The fridge in the room was very small. The breakfast seems to us expensive for a 4persons family so we needed space in the fridge 🙁 The bathroom was diveded into two small rooms which the have only one door. So if the door was closed for the toilet, the shower room was open!! The hotel offers towels only for shower (the big ones) and not for the face. I asked face towels but the did not give me, maybe they did not have.
