I would like to say a BIG thank you for our stay there. We were travelling to England and were very tired, so we have decided to book a room and rest. I was very surprised that I could book this hotel very quick (I have booked it via Booking.com just 1 our before), they have available rooms and their check in desk was opened so late (it was nearly 10pm when we arrived at the hotel). The staff was friendly despite the late hour, the room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable, so we had a very restful sleep. The view is magnificent, we could appreciate it on the next morning. Even we have left before 6am the next day, I would say the hotel exceeded our expectations and we definitely want to go back there

I do not have anything I did not like there. Everything was on a high standard. The only thing was that duvets were quite short for us :) but we did not feel anything once we fall asleep.

The hotel is really nice. An ancient building full of history.The view was stunning. Beds are comfortable. We booked two rooms for our family. It is a pet friendly hotel which is amazing: outside some rooms there is a balcony that goes outside a little patch of grass. We did not travel with a pet, therefore be aware that in some rooms the dog smell will persist.

We were not able to completely open the window to our room and it was a hot and really humid night. The window would just open ajar.

We were satisfied with the accommodation, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We may have been the only guests at that point in our stay, but the landlady made an effort and brought us a very nice breakfast. She was kind and accommodating and an extra bonus was the cute little dog that was with her🙂👍

Location, friendly staff and a very nice view over the Danube from the terrace. The food and breakfast were good.

The hotel has no elevator and our room was on the second floor. Also the view from our room was not on the Danube but in the hill behind the hotel. Only a few rooms were occupied

We were a family of 5 and we stayed for one night as we were in transit in Germany. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds. The breakfast was very good too. The location is beautiful and we would like to return to explore it.

We thought it was a small detour from the high-way but it is not close.

Nice big room with a lot of space. The breakfast was ok and you can ask for additional food if needed. The restaurant is also very good. There is also a garage to store the bike and big parking lot. Amazing view.

The only reason this hotel didn't get "Superb" from me is the lack of air-conditioning. Unfortunately we didn't get much sleep as there wasn't any air-conditioning in the rooms. It was way too hot to sleep despite the one window which we left open. Luckily, it had a Mosquito net on, but it was still too hot to sleep.

Location is very nice in a surprisingly pretty corner of Germany, with (as the name suggests) a view om the Danube river, especially from the terrace. Rooms are comfy and on the 1st floor all rooms have some seating outside. Good bathroom, beds are good. Enough space. Generally friendly staff. Breakfast is not buffet style but served (which has its charm).

We stayed here twice, and this time there was an issue with our bill. Somebody had accidentally added a dinner bill of someone else to our room number. When we wanted to check out, it turned out that the staff could not check this in the computer. This was on a Sunday morning and the check out lady at the same time had to keep other guests happy who were still having breakfast. So she had to call the manager to come to the hotel to resolve this with us, which took a while. I must say it was resolved correctly, but with a 900 km drive ahead of us, this delay was a bit inconvenient. Maybe (and understandibly) the cause of all the confusion with wrongly attaching the dinner bill, and the waiting on the next morning both have something to do with not enough experienced staff.

Very well placed hotel with an exceptional view of the Danube and the hills. Breakfast well provided. Good choice of dishes in the restaurant. Lovely location for walks, visits to Passau or a boat trip on the Danube.

We had an especially pleasant stay with Landhotel Donaublick. Bayerischen Wald is a beautiful and maybe overlooked region. The hotel sits up above the Donau River and Obernzell, and our room had a wonderful view, as does the view from the restaurant terrace. Friendly and pleasant staff, good food and service.
